After four hours on the phone and getting absolutely no help from Costco or HP Support, I gave up. HP Support said my screen issue was my fault, that I had dropped my laptop (I hadnt) and Costco was not going do a thing for me even though my laptop was still under warranty. So I declined the $280 charged (plus shipping to and from) for HP to repair it and searched online and found Damian. He saw instantly that my little sliding camera cover had cracked the screen--so it was, indeed, my fault. But while HP would have had it for several weeks and I would have, as I said, had to pay shipping, Damian fixed it within a week and I got off at $5 less, for which I was supremely happy. ESPECIALLY that I was not giving my money to HP. So I brought my other old laptop to Damian afterward--slow, clunky, glitchy--and he installed a new solid state hard drive, cleaned everything up, and I now feel like I have a brand new laptop! Great to have two that work so well, and I am so pleased with the great service and wonderful good nature of this talented technician! Thank you, Damian!

I took my daughters HP Envy x360 laptop to Damian after I had tried to replace a cracked touchscreen after watching YouTube videos that made it look very simple. After running into things that were not in any of the videos, I decided to take it to a professional. I did a quick Google search and found DJM Computer Repair because of the great reviews. I dropped the laptop off with all of the parts. I picked up a repaired laptop a week later. Damian was very professional, knowledgeable. The repair cost $130. I would have gladly paid twice that amount because of the awesome job he did and the great customer service. DJM is my computer repair place from now on.

I found Damian of DJM Computer Repair friendly, efficient, and very effective. – Damian’s first response to my attempt to contact him through his website came within eight business hours; and in it, he proposed a solution for my laptops battery charging problem that turned out to be the correct one. And when I asked him to consider another potential cause my laptop had previously had, he invited me to come by his shop. In five minutes there, he conducted a simple and obvious test that confirmed his initial solution conclusively. - After months of living with that charging problem, its solution turned out to be a few text messages with Damian, a ten-minute shop visit, and the purchase of a used battery charger he was able to provide--couldnt have been simpler. I should have called him a long time ago.

So glad we found DJM! Our HP laptop had a broken hinge, which meant that the screen was hanging off. The laptop is almost eight years old, but Damien said that he would try his best to find parts for it, as HP no longer makes the parts. It took the better part of two months, but Damien never gave up trying to find the necessary parts.The parts finally came in, and Damien was able to get our laptop working almost as good as new! Excellent service, and considering the work involved, a very reasonable cost.I just cant imagine going anywhere else for computer repair. I firmly believe in supporting independent businesspeople, especially when they do such excellent work as Damien does.As we discovered that Damien is a Ghostbusters fan, well just say Who ya gonna call? Brought my first time custom build here when it started acting up. It was a long process due to the parts being new on the market but its working beautifully now. So I brought in an older Mac and Damien was super quick to get it diagnosed and inform me of the issue. He was also very kind and understanding when my mac had reached the end of the line. He offered me a quick solution and a great deal by showing me some refurbished MacBooks that he had and clearly explained the difference between the two. Lets just say I purchased one on the spot. Im currently sitting here typing this review on said computer and I couldnt be happier with the outcome. Needless to say I would highly recommend DJMs computer repair to anyone thats having any sort of computer issues.

Great small business computer shop with an extremely kind and knowledgeable owner. Cant find the likes of these guys much anymore and Damien is more than exceptional. For any computer needs, I highly recommend DJM comp repair. He can work on all brands and operating systems.

Dont go to any of these other shops in Delaware - they arent as good as Damian. Ive used Damian twice in 5 years - while not a huge number, this is good in the PC support world - it means he gets it right the first time. Damian has been nothing but professional, transparent, and fast when servicing my computers. When a complicated build came through, Damian persevered and delivered a product beyond my expectations.

My laptop was pretty much trash when I first went to DJM but Damien somehow brought it back to life. It wouldve cost me an arm and a leg to fix it too, but Damien went out of his way to find solutions that would work with my college student budget. Typing this review from my laptop after almost 1.5 years of it sitting in my room. Definitely the best place to go for all of your computer issues. 11/10 recommend.

Very friendly and professional service. My computer would not turn on and I had an idea of what it was however I didnt have the necessary tools to test. I called up DJM and he was able to check out and help diagnose the issue within the first 2 minutes I walked in the door. He also suggested other ways to prevent the issue from reoccurring in the future. I would definitely recommend a call/visit to DJM if you are in need of computer advice/repairs.

Super quick and reasonable

I sadly dropped my laptop and the screen broke. To get a new screen, it would have taken a few days and I was in town only for the day. Damien had a used screen that fit mine perfectly and fixed my laptop within an hour for a great price and excellent service! He made sure my laptop worked afterward and even gave me advice on free products to use so my laptop would run faster.

I highly recommend DJM. My laptop had a cracked screen, and other shops recommended replacing the whole lid of the laptop. Damien was able to repair at 1/2 the cost, replacing just the damaged parts, and worked around my schedule. Everything, from the cost of the job to the time required, was exactly as he quoted up front. Just a great experience.

Super helpful! I had two old, dying laptops that I had been holding onto hoping they could be brought back to life. Unfortunately, they were TOO OLD. However, without missing a beat, I was able to purchase a refurbished laptop right there. Within a couple of hours my years of vacation pictures and recipes were transferred to my new laptop and I was up and running again. I only wish I hadnt waited so long, and put up with so much aggravation before going to DJM.

Came with a Toshiba Satellite that wouldnt connect to the internet and was running super slow. Damien cleared out all the junk updated all of the programs and has it running like new. Great guy to work with and super professional. Free diagnostic and the repair price was fair. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I visited once before and had a couple small things fixed. I knew at some point I would have ro leave it for serious work so I purchased an old laptop at a good price as a spare. I waited a bit too long and crashed mine. I thought it might be DOA but two days later we got a call. It was running faster and better than new. All Toshiba bloat ware was removed plus other things fixed. A fair to great price for a great bit of work. Highly recommend.

My hard drive died on my desktop computer last week and I had to locate a repair shop nearby in the area to take it. Thanks to the good Lord I found DJM Computer Repair near Newport via Google. Awesome business. Prompt and speedy repair.No diagnostic fees charged. He took the computer apart right in front of me and explained everything as he went. I only wished pricing was upfront before the job was completed, but the price was fair at the end of it all. He even accepts credit cards! The shop is beautifully organized and easy on the eyes.
