Excellent customer service. Lien is a superb seamstress. She altered my daughters wedding dress and had the mother of the bride looking spectacular in her custom tailored dress. You get what you pay for and this shop provides a level of service second to none. It was remarkable that you couldnt even tell that my dress had been touched. It truly pains me to take any alterations to another seamstress. Both my husband and I stock up our clothes to be altered and bring them to Market Street Alterations whenever we travel to Wilmington. Lien is kind enough to complete the work before we head back out of town. I would highly recommend her to anyone who really cares about how their clothes look. You wont be disappointed.

Lien Wadford is a wonderful person to work with. She is professional, talented and cares about her customers. The alterations she has done for me were always completed as I requested. And when she gives me a date to pick up the clothes, they are always ready on that date. Im new to Wilmington and happened to drive by her 3001 Market Street Alternations Shop. I took a chance that she would be good at alterations and Ive never been disappointed! I highly recommend her and her work.

I took my outfits all over town but no one wants to work on it . I am very lucky to call this place. She is very helpful to work on my outfit. It turned out very beautiful. I would like to send all of my friends to see her if they need it.

Had to get my wedding dress altered. It needed to be taken in significantly, some alternations on the sleeves, and a hem. She did a great job even a couple days before the wedding, I needed it to be taken in some more. Prices were on par with what I expected for all the work that needed.

The service here is horrible! From start to finish, the owner/seamstress was the rudest person I had ever encountered. Telling me that I looked like I didnt trust her and good luck finding someone else in town that did this kind of work better than her. I was in a rush so I gave her the business but I regretfully did so. I dropped off the garment on a Saturday morning, she asked me to return on Wednesday. This was a simple letting out of a garment and stitching the zipper. I returned on Wednesday and my shirt was sitting in the SAME spot I left it in. She then asked me to try it on, she eye balled the measurement and asked me to return to pick it up on Friday. I came back on Friday and there was the shirt- SITTING UNTOUCHED IN THE SAME DAMN SPOT I LEFT IT ON Wednesday! She then asks me to try it on so she can accurately measure me. I remind her that I need this ready by the next day (which has now been an entire week since I brought it to her) and she proceeds to tell me Im rushing her and that Im lucky shes not charging me more! (She already charged me $50 for something that should have cost no more than $15). She asks me to return to pick it up the next day at 2pm. I arrive at 2pm and this woman sees me get out of the car, grabs the shirt and begins to sow it AT THAT VERY MOMENT. The entire thing took her less than 5 minutes to do but this woman had me back and forth 4 times that week and completely wasted my time! On top of that she was so damn rude! I can only imagine that the other stellar reviews she has on google were done by her! I can tell by the way its written because that exactly how she speaks. Anyway- do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your alterations. Do NOT give this rude woman your business. -signed an APALLED CUSTOMER

I brought my wedding dress to Lien and needed her to alter it, (hem and take in) and to be completed in less than 3 weeks. She was very kind and assured me she would get it done and do it right. She worked in stages and brought me back in at each step for me to try it on and made sure I approved. Needless to say she completed the alteration and I picked it up right on time. She was a saving grace and it fit perfectly on my wedding day. I highly suggest Lien as she has been doing this for years and makes sure you are treated well and taken care of! Her price was competitive and fair, especially on such short notice. Thank you Lien for your excellent work and big heart!!
