Needed a tux altered for a wedding and they did an outstanding job. At first, Id ordered the wrong size and they helped me figure out which size I needed to get so they could alter it properly. After coming back with the proper size, they had the tux altered within a few days and it looked amazing. They even surprised me and made me a face mask out of the extra material. Very professional, friendly, fair prices, and great work. Highly recommend coming here for your alterations.

Literally amazing and such a life saver!!! I took my wedding dress to three other places and they all said they couldn’t help me. Unfortunately my dress came in around five sizes to big! Wawa completely altered it to fit me in just on week! It looks absolutely amazing and fits perfectly now! 100% recommend! It’s the cutest couple who owns it and they are the sweetest and give great prices! The building looks a little but questionable but all great places are like that! They are so talented and the perfect hole in the wall kind of place!!

I had my dream wedding dress altered here for an INCREDIBLE/UNBEATABLE price. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. They were so communicative with the game plan of what they were altering and how theyd fix each part of the dress, so I knew exactly what to expect just 5 weeks later. The result was perfection. So much care and thoughtfulness went into the entire experience. Im so happy and cant wait to wear it on my wedding day! :)

This place came highly recommend. I made the mistake of trying on the dress and letting them pin it before telling them what I need and asking how much it would be. Needless to say I learned my lesson because getting a dress taken in on the sides and shortened cost $130. Friends that had to get very similar work done to the same dress in southern California only had to play $40-80. And what makes it worse is the final fit of the dress wasnt what it needed to be.

This is an amazing place. The people are kind and welcoming. They did an absolute astonishing job on my wedding dress. If your looking for the perfect place to get alterations done even extremely complicated ones such as my wedding dress this is the place to go. I had a wonderful experience. They even made me a mask to match my dress. Just an all around awesome place.. I truly appreciate the quick work done on my dress to make my special day a perfect one. Thank you wa was alterations.

Love this Alterations shop! They did an amazing job on a bridesmaid dress. When I went to pick it up I brought a pillow that a tassel fell of off and they sewed it back on complimentary! Will definitely be back! Nice people, fast service, and quality work.

She does a fantastic job, quickly, for a reasonable price. I brought a lace, fitted bridesmaid dress there to be taken in. She had to take out the whole zipper to do it best and it looks PERFECT. Ill definitely be going back there. Excellent job, good price!

Wedding dress is ruined, sad thing is I didnt noticed until i got home because I was being rushed out . I have less then two weeks until my wedding date and I have no more money or time to buy a dress. Before I could even choose to go with someone else or even talk about price she started cutting my dress while I was still wearing it( No Joke & No Lie ) . To find out her services cost three time more than my dress just to take in the top and to remove some tulle Now i have to try and fix the top myself. DO NOT GO TO HER

We had the best experience possible getting my son with special needs, pants hemmed. He does not like to try on clothes, and is a nightmare to shop for and does not have any clothes to actually use as a guide that fit, so the owner and went back and forth, gesturing with how tall I thought my son was guessing at his height only to have him be able to come in and actually be measured after all. By the time he had come in she had already done one pair of pants and miraculously guessed the right amount to hem. They were perfect. Done quickly and and reasonably priced. Couldnt ask for a better outcome.

I absolutely love the way she does the job. She is a nice lady having been working there for 10+ years and is always on top of the things. Knowing that I am a student, she always give me reasonable price to hem. My jeans and shirts fit really well all the time! Last month, I brought a bridemaid dress and since I am a smaller figure, I had to tailor it. She did the job within three days and it was a perfect fit! I am happy with her service and recommend to everyone!

This is the only alteration shop that I will use in Wilmington. She does a wonderful job and everything is always perfect. If what you want done will not work correctly or will look stupid she will tell you and offer suggestions for other alterations.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The woman who did the alterations and tailoring is very knowledgeable about what she does and gave great advice about how my dress should be taken in. In my opinion the prices were very fair based on the work that she did, because the craftsmanship is far superior to any of the other locations in the area. I will continue to go to this location, and recommend it to anyone who needs their dresses done. Overall, great customer service and an excellent job with alterations!

Julia is an excellent seamstress and I am always pleased with her work. I highly recommend her for any of your alteration needs. She is fair and easy to work with.

My husband and I just took a new pair of pant to Wa Wa Alterations plus a pair of my dress slack to be shortened. We needed them completed by the next day. I am happy to say they were not only done by the next morning but were done perfectly and pressed and ready to go home. We will definately be bringing back any pieces of clothing we need altered but we will also be passing on her name to our friend too for any alterations they may need.

I was so impressed by the professionalism at Wa Wa. I needed to replace a torn duvet cover and had a couple of cotton sheets, but no sewing machine or patience! She did and not only did a fabulous job but suggested a closure at the bottom of velcro and added that at the time of pickup for free! Thank you, I will be back!

Soon does a phenomenal job with any alteration. I highly recommend her.

The worst Ive ever seen when it comes to an dress being altered. My wife and i just got her a new dress so we can do a vowel renewal. We looked at the reviews and they were mixed but not bad. we took her sweet heart dress to be hemed and taken in. before we discussed a price she started to cut the bottom of the dress with my wife still in it. Got me kinda curious but OK. she pined back the sweet heart saying that was part of the problem. and she also suggested putting a button in the back to try and hold it tight. Well we agreed to it thinking she knew what she was doing. she told us a date to come back so we did. Well we get there to pay for the dress and pick it up. I go to help my wife in the dress and she rushed over to help instead. Thats OK ill just sit and observe. well wife gets into dress and looks OK in front mirror. we get it home and my wife trys it on to see if belt would go with it. Well we start to notice she didnt cut the heart she sued it down and it looks like a rushed job, she put two buttons on the back which she was hiding and holding with her hand in the store. now the dress looks bad and we have no time to get another. we took out the sewn part of sweet heart and its so badly creased dont know what to do. All she had to do was take in the sides on the top and bring it in thats it. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!! paid $150 dollars to get it altered and only got something a 10 yr old could do. worst i have ever seen.

I took a bridesmaid dress to be altered to Wa-Wa alterations. She fitted me, and told me that it would cost me $75.00 to be altered. I paid her upfront, and when I went to pick up my dress the left side was completely bulging out and not fitted to my side because of the way she sewed the zipper. I took the dress to another place to see if they could fix it, not wanting Wa-Wa to do it over because of the first mistake. After going and getting a price from another store, I went back to inform her if she could not fix it I would like my money returned. She became very rude and told me that she would not return my money, and that she wouldnt fix her mistake. I continued to speak to her and she just sat down ignoring me and continued with what she was doing. I would NEVER recommend taking anything to be altered by this place. HORRIBLE job and HORRIBLE customer service!!!

Took a bridesmaid dress in last minute, and she was able to do exactly what I needed done, at a VERY reasonable price. Cheaper than other tailors around town.

I took in a shirt that had some strands coming loose, when I asked how for an estimate much it would be I was told to see when its done and she took the garment out of my hands like it was a done deal without me saying yes to the work first. Doesnt speak much English. Dont recommend

If you speak english DO NOT GO THERE. They are very unprofessional to americans, they do not understand english so they can not comprehend.
