I am editing my first google review, and changing it from one star to two stars. The two stars are because the alterations that they perform are good quality and inexpensive.The reason for only two stars is that in the past few years I have dropped off about six items to be altered. Two of my items on separate occasions were accidentally given to someone else. That is a 33% error rate and I can’t continue to patronize a business that can’t keep track of customer’s valued items. They eventually did get my items back to me but it’s not worth the hassle and stress. I did try to speak to the owner about this when I picked up my lost item today, but he didn’t want to talk to me.

My whole family has been going to them for forever! They’re always super nice, quick and efficient!

I took my three cashmere sweaters my husband purchased for me in Scotland to Miss. Kim’s to be cleaned. They were in my closet which collapsed thanks to Hurricane Florence. They were wet and smelled like mildew. In addition they had acquired a few tiny holes on each sweater over the years. I was so pleased when I got them back. They were beautiful! The mildew smell is gone and I can’t even find where those little holes were. They look new. The price for cleaning and repair was quite reasonable. I highly recommend this business. The gentleman who works the register was extremely helpful and kind.

Ive used this place for both dry cleaning of winter coats & simple alterations such as inseam length (including too long mens shorts & even a pair of swimming trunks) & fabric belt shortening ... never had a bad experience. I expect to continue using them for non-delicate dry cleaning needs & basic, uncomplicated alterations.

I took a king size down comforter to be dry cleaned. I got it back nicely rolled and wrapped in plastic, which is how I left it until I was ready to put it on my bed a month later. I unwrapped it to find every mark and stain still there. The comforter has not been cleaned at all. $35 for a dirty comforter to be wrapped in plastic.

My son took three pairs of brand new suit pants do you have hemmed, he tried them on there, all we’re hand to short. He can’t wear any of them, they are ruined for him. Stay away from Mr. Kim’s.

This was the WORST expirence I have ever had with an alterations company. I have been a loyal customer for over two years until now. I took a bridesmaids dress to have an inch taken off the shoulders. When I picked up the dress, the seam had been cut where the dress had rouching at the chest (which caused unraveling). While I was showing the owner, I also noticed a stain in the center of the dress. I brought both issues to the owners attention and he became so irrate that he threw the plastic cover back over the dress and yelled, I will do this for you again, but you put that stain on that dress! If not, you go somewhere else! I know for a fact the stain was not there when I dropped off my dress. I could not believe he not only was irrate over me showing him and requesting he fix it but that he literally yelled at me. I decided to just leave with my dress. I now have had to take the dress to another alterations company. When I tried on the dress, I realized, Ms. Kim had taken an inch off each side in the mid section of the dress and not off the shoulders! I could not even zip the dress and the new complany confirmed the stain was alterations chalk. It should hopfully be removed during dry cleaning but now I have to pay to have the dress let back out and dry cleaned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
