Good company, I will surely go with them when my manufacturer warranty is about to expire. To be honest, they gave me the best deal that i didnt get from any other company. It is only that am not yet ready to pick the policy now. Good follow-up

Good experience overall. The claim did take longer than usual because multple people in the claims department had to take a look at it to make sure it was covered in my contract. It was more bumper-to-bumper coverage for just a few dollars’ difference, so I decided to chose Total Auto Protect. The first representative Tim was awesome, very polite. It was also a quick process and it was exactly what he said. I had to pay $200 to put some sort of deposit down, or they told me I could make payments on it. I just wanted to get it done, so I paid down the total amount in full.

There were a lot of positive reviews on Total Auto Protect. Plenty of people say they’ve covered what they said they would. The only thing I was worried about is that emissions was not covered, I found out later on that no warranty company covers emissions so I wasnt as upset about it. I had a huge repair about a week ago and they covered it. That one repair was worth the two years of time that Ive been paying for it. It paid for itself and then some for that one repair.

I used the service once so far and they paid for it. I do think they should have given me a better deal with multi car policy that I have. They are always having discounts and offers

I bought a policy with Total Auto Protect 2 years ago for my 2012 Bentley Continental. They were able to get me the same price that I paid last time to renew with them. The car is in perfect condition and even though I never had to do any repairs on it, I wanted to have the coverage just in case anything happens.

So far so good, havent had any issues other than waiting for my coverage to kick in the middle June. I tried Carshield and even though they have 40+ commercials they only cover certain high mileage areas where they said it was a high mileage risk... Its crazy because in their commercials they say they will cover all sorts of cars with any type of mileage which is not true at all... Total Auto Protect tellss you what they dont cover up front....Car-shield doesnt.

My relationship with total auto protect was brief. My husband bought a policy for our 2014 Range Rover, but then we decided to trade it in for a new 2020 jaguar f type. Total auto protect did refund my initial payment in full as per the agreement within the first 30 days. I will go with them when the warranty on the jaguar expires.

Original: 6/10/2021 I bought extended warranty from Total Auto Protect (TAP) based on the near perfect ratings on Google but I start to feel like this is a scam as I am having a terrible experience dealing with the claims department. Our 2015 Range Rover Evoque had a turbo failure (Google L538 turbo issue). The repair shop noted in their inspection that turbo bearings are bad, turbo is starting to leak oil. TAP never sent out an inspector and kept saying that oil leak is not covered and the turbo failure is wear and tear (are you kidding me?). In addition, the claim department never called me and I had to set up an email thread to include both TAP and the repair shop, which still didnt get TAP to reply. Our car has been at the repair shop for a week and the repair still has not started due to total auto protect not willing to pay for a covered claim.Edit 6/14: a representative from TAP reached out to me and explained that the reason of the claim denial is due to an open technical service bulletin (NHTSA TSB# 10106048). I read through the TSB and found that although it is related to the turbocharger, it describes a completely different problem than what the repair shop diagnosed. I still believe that my claim should be covered. The representative claimed that he helped re-open my claim. I will update as I hear more updates.Edit 6/22: on 6/14, I was informed by the repair ship that an inspector was sent to inspect the damage. In the morning of 6/22, I called TAP and was told that they will call me in the afternoon to have the final result. I called in the afternoon at 4:44 PM EST and my call was directed to voice mail. My car has been at the repair shop for two full weeks now.Edit 6/24: called TAP on both 6/22 nad 6/23 and they said claim is still under review while they had the report from the inspector on Monday 6/21. I was told that the report takes time to review. I then asked for a copy of the report which I believe is very reasonable. The claim rep said he would send a request for me to receive a copy. I also called my repair shop and they said they have called TAP twice this same week and got the same run-around (delay). I have requested multiple times that we keep our communication via email for future reference, but TAP never emailed me and I had to call them to ask for the status of my claim.

I was renewing an extended warranty with the vehicle and signing up with Total Auto went perfectly fine. I used to be with Zurich, which we got through the dealership, so I was already familiar with how everything works and I have an extended warranty also on the Van. The gentleman from Total was very nice and informative. Everything got out to us right away and so far, so good. I already knew what I wanted and so, I was just keeping what the car already had, which was the top of the line. It was the exclusionary policy that its easier to explain the things that are excluded and all the things that are included. The rep explained the coverage very well and did a wonderful job.

I went with total because of their ratings online. The process was easy and the representative was great because he kept calling me back. When I said, “Call me tomorrow at 11:00 because I’m busy at work,” he’d call me back the next day at 11:00 on the dot. He was really helpful and patient in explaining everything.

I called Total Auto Protect a few years back and talked to somebody there and I liked what I heard, but decided not to sign up right away. When my wife bought a 2014 Audi A6 which only had 32,000 miles on it, we wanted to get an extended warranty for it. The dealership wanted $4,200 for that warranty. Total costs a couple of hundred dollars more than the dealership, but the difference was I had to pay $4,200 outright with the dealership while it was just $136 a month with Total which was a much easier payment to deal with. I talked to my wife about it and we looked at plenty of different companies online and Total seemed to have better ratings than everyone else. Total was very upfront with us and they werent pushy at all.

These people are great and military friendly. They treat you look like family and not just another customer. I was expecting to wait on hold for for a while when I called in to use it but they answered right away. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a car warranty.

I had 90,000 miles on my pickup when I bought it. Its in excellent shape but my wife always wants everything warrantied, so we decided to buy an extended coverage plan for it. I Googled what were the best extended warranties and Total Auto Protect was listed in the top three. So, I called them signed up about a year ago so everything had been really good so far.

I talked to several other companies and almost purchase with endurance warranty. This company called me and their service on the phone was better. Just purchased and waiting on the 30 day waiting period to finish. Hopefully dont need to use them any time soon but if I do I will let you know how it goes.
