We built a custom home with a large and complex cabinet configuration. The Markraft sales and installation departments were truly fantastic. The post installation follow-up service has been great in making sure all aspects of this job have been done right. I know this was a complicated job - thanks for the extra effort.

I am being very generous with one star. Our builder sent us here and it was a very frustrating experience! They did NOT listen to us at all!. They want to give you a design then go from there. The designers kept pushing us toward the high end cabinets with custom paint. We just wanted white! They had no concept of staying within a budget. In the end we were nearly $25000 over our budget for a few high end kitchen cabinets and cheap bathroom cabinets. Absolutely no extras or fancy trim. We became so frustrated that we refused to use them, so our builder sent us to Classic Cabinets. We got exactly what we wanted there...great quality....within our budget. Classic Cabinets didn’t waste our time with designs we weren’t interested in. Unless you have money to burn...don’t waste your time at Markraft!

I strongly recommend that you use any company but this one. I had new cabinets installed and what a nightmare. I should have know this was not going to be good after I payed in full in February and the order didn’t go in for an additional two weeks. This moved my wait time from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. The installer cut the refrigerator panel to the wrong height. As bad as that was I was the one that caught that and not Markraft. That took 6 weeks for them to even get the new one there. Found out that that panel came in in the middle of May for them not to come back until the end of June. The original installer also left saw dust in the house and cabinets and never cleaned anything. When questioned about them cleaning up they informed me that was the customers responsibility. All the boxes that the cabinets came in were left in the house by that same installer. They put the wrong insert in one of the cabinets and that has yet to be fixed when it was on the paperwork and plans what was supposed to come in. The salesman handling my house was fired/quit and then all communications were lost. It wasn’t until 3 weeks later I found this out. Then I was handed off to Executive Director of the Wilmington location. He got the ball rolling again. The boxes that were supposed to be taken “care of and hauled off” are still in the same place they were. It was communicated to the president how dissatisfied I was and his basic response was “well the job did get done even if it wasn’t in a timely manner. We will not do anything to try make this right per there policys” Needless to say when I build my new house next year I will not use this company if they were the last cabinet company in existence.

This was a very nice and friendly visit. I suggest if you are looking for cabinets to definitely stop by there and let their Friendly staff help you pick out your dream kitchen, bath, Wet Bar or whatever project you are working on and are in need of cabinets.

UPDATE: 3/14/21After a few additional weeks of waiting, our cabinet face was delivered and our installer was great, so Ive added another star. We eventually discovered a few places where the initial installers didnt adjust the soft closure euro slides correctly, so the alignment of the accompanying cabinet face was not level. All in all, we are mostly satisfied for this quality level of material and installation.UPDATE: 9/11/20Thank you for reaching out and clarifying the replacement order confusion and getting us in contact with the warranty rep (Ginger), who advised us that the two cabinet faces were in your warehouse (*and in good condition) and could be replaced the next day. However, once at our home, the installer saw that only one face could be replaced, because the other was warped. So as of today, we only have one of the initial cabinet faces replaced. I will be more than happy to revise this review, once the other face and cabinet base are replaced satisfactorily.Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and productivity of this company. They are the vendor used for our Bill Clark Home in Wilmington, and it has been ridiculously difficult to get them to redo cabinets/doors that were requested at our walk through back in *February*. I understand COVID has slowed down production of things, but does it really take six months to put some laminate and paint together??? Our warranty rep from BCH cant even get them to give an estimated time frame for replacement. They are unresponsive and (again, taking COVID into account), ridiculously slow. This is very poor customer service and representation of a company. I only gave the two stars because the cabinets are decent quality.

Read the contract!! They require money upfront and they will NOT delivered the material until you pay in full. Not even started the installation before they got their full amount paid. Not happy with customer service at all. Three bathrooms done at the same time, all of them had issues. Waited too long for 2 sinks to be replaced ( they arrived broken). Installer was rude and that was a hassle to have a professional coming back to fix all the mistakes.

Markraft Cabinets installed the cabinets in our new home... 7 years ago. Recently we decided to modify our original cabinets and add new ones in the process as well... The decision to go with Markraft again was an easy one. Bryan - our sales rep and Mark our installer did a fantastic job. We would not hesitate to recommend Markraft to family and friends - they are professional and dependable! (Their showroom is awesome too!!)

Very poor customer service from day one as far as buying a new house that hardison home had build, and they installed the cabinets to having them come back out to fix their mistakes and then trying to go to the showroom to try to get someone to come out to measure for another cabinet to be made and I will install, how they stay in business is beyond me, they are terrible! Do not recommend them to anyone!

I just finished wrapping up my new kitchen and granite countertops from Markraft. Glenda was who assisted me and I just wanted to say everything went flawlessly. She is a great communicator and had me feeling comfortable and informed every step of the way. Thanks Glenda and Markraft for a great job, great price, and wonderful service!

Friendly reception and great selection. The demonstration kitchens are lovely and seem likely to be efficient use of space in a home. I havent yet purchased from them (so only 4 stars this time) but I probably will when the time comes.

Melissa went above & beyond to help us get a touch up kit for our cabinets. She kept us updated when there was a delay in getting the kit as well as found the opportunity to deliver it to us, when she was in the area on a design consultation.

My husband and I wanted to add a few additional cabinets to our newly built house. The showroom is great, but it was extremely difficult to have anyone take us seriously. I had to track down the designer who was helping me and every time we spoke, it seemed like I was bothering him or wasting his time. Unfortunately it was difficult to match our cabinets elsewhere, so we came to the company that supplied them in the first place. It was almost like because we were not spending an excessive amount of money, we were pushed aside and overlooked.

We were in search of custom cabinets for our ocean front condo renovation....Markraft was the first name we heard and working with them was a pleasure from the start!! We did a custom color and Rachel was so patient and informative in the design and process to make our vision happen! Thanks Rachael and Markraft! Amanda Fisher did an excellent job of designing a kitchen layout that net our needs and incorporated many newer features that were not available 10 years ago. Jim Bauer and his installation team also exceeded or expectations

But their staff is so professional and knowledgeable that the process was not nearly as crazy as I anticipated. The finished product was everything I dreamed of! Markraft turned our kitchen remodel into a disaster. A 8-10 week project turned into 6 months. Wrong size cabinets were delivered, wrong colors, installers would start work and then leave after an hour, not seen until I called to complain, our designer was pregnant and had to leave midway through the project, no-one was assigned to replace her, no quality control whatsoever, I had to provide a punch list and they would do half of it and not come back. I insisted on a supervisor come out and it was like I was inconveniencing them. If you want a nightmare, use this company.

Ordered kitchen & bathroom cabinets/vanities in Nov 2017 and STILL have not received everything ordered... its now May 2018!
