I went in for my first haircut and beard trim not knowing what to expect. I set and watched the first two fellas get their haircut during which several good conversations were in the works. The atmosphere was cool and relaxed, with some funny topics discussed. The individuals that came in just for the conversation had some good stories to tell as well.He really did a nice job on the guys hair and beard during my arrival, so it was good to see some talent in the clients trim ahead of me.I didnt give the Barber much direction in what I was looking to achieve in my desired style, but wanted him to see what he could achieve. He didnt take long to get a good result with a happy customer.My beard looks much better in which my wife was impressed with.In my opinion, I would give personality of the Barber along with the atmosphere a 6 out of 5.The style of the hair and beard a 5.The price that I paid for both a hair and beard trim was very cheap.I would recommend this place!Thank again,

Being new to the area, I was struggling to find a decent barber. That is, until I found the Oak Barber Shop. Dylan is always professional, and takes his time with every cut. Keep up the good work!

Showed up and figured Id give it a shot based off of the good reviews and I was really impressed! Really nice guy and made fun conversation and is easy to get along with, while also paying close attention to details on his work. Really good prices as well. Under 20 with a beard trim. I love my haircut and I plan on going back!

This is the first time coming to the Oak. I was really impressed with the time Dylan takes with each individual customer and how he pays close attention to detail. I believe that Dylan is a throwback to how barber and how he runs a barbershop should be! I would recommend anyone to come to the Oak and check it out l!

My boyfriends hair is really long he did an awesome job with the undercut very clean cut and even all the way around u could def tell he knows what hes doing even with hair as challenging as my boyfriends (really thick and long). he sent us to the ivory chair to get the longer part layered being honest about his abilities the result was a totally badass haircut the overall experience and environment like many others have said before was friendly and fun. Only negative was the wait was a bit long but its very clear why, dude knows what hes doing, price was reasonable as well,chicks send ur boyfriend to Dylan!

Oaks has a new owner/barber who has evidently ran the place for a couple of years now. Went there today (11/04/2017) and got a great haircut. He cut me a tight fade and did an excellent job. Didnt leave a single long/uneven hair that I could find. I was quite impressed with him. Seems like a real good kid too. Stop in and check him out the next time you need a cut and Im sure youll not be disappointed.

I was visiting my dad and didn’t have a chance to get a haircut before I came to Ohio. I was in desperate need of a flattop haircut. This was probably the best flattop I’ve ever had. Did a great job, whenever I come back to Wilmington I will be visiting again.
