Mark is definitely my new guy! He is as legit it can get, does a great job effortlessly, and brings you instantaneous satisfaction as soon as you walk through the door! I’m very lucky I was able to get on the schedule so soon with him, I’m excited for my next trim up!

I received a gift certificate from my girlfriend for a straight razor shave from Mark. I was not disappointed, from the moment I walked into the barber shop I felt very comfortable there. Mark greeted me with a smile and was prepared for my appointment. He takes the time to make sure that his space is very clean and organized and you can see it. I spent some time walking around looking at all the memorabilia on the walls and all over the shop. What an impressive collection that Mark has built up over the years. Walking into the shop you can sense a love for the business and all that has gone into the aesthetics of the place. The walls are covered with rockabilly and Elvis memorabilia. I received a shave from the proprietor Mark, who engaged with me in conversation and small talk, up until he put a sharp razor to my face. It was an overall pleasurable experience and he walked me through every step he was taking. Telling me about the products he was using and what their ingredients were. I thoroughly enjoyed my shave. The experience was unlike any other that I had incurred at any barber shop. If you are ever in need of a cut or shave, go see Mark. He will make sure you leave feeling like a rock star. Whats not to like about BSBS! Youre gonna get a great haircut by a really nice cool guy, Mark! Youre gonna get to experience a barbershop that youve never experienced before. How awesome is it to be surrounded by everything Elvis, who just happens to be my favorite of all time! Pictures, authentic concert tickets, posters, records, jumpsuits! His music is playing, hes on the TV, I never want to leave! Theres also a stage where Mark and his band and other bands play after hours on certain nights, its just the coolest place! Then of course theres Mark himself- hes not just great at what he does but hes also a fantastic guy! Very personable, down to earth and always interesting conversation. Call ahead for appointments but dont wait cause hes usually busy, youll have a really fun experience!

I recently moved to Wilmington and needed to find good barber. I didnt want to go thru the hassle of several bad haircuts before finding a place I could count on. Out of every shop I looked at, Mark has far and away the best reviews and now I can see why. I got exactly what I asked for and it looks and feels great. Great conversation the whole time. I live in Raleigh but find myself in Wilmington quite often. Called Beale Street yesterday because I needed my hair trimmed up. Mark Sinnis worked with me and was able to fit me in same day. I read all the outstanding reviews but didn’t know what to expect going somewhere new.Needless to say, I don’t care about the fact that I live in Raleigh, my new barber is in Wilmington. Mark Sinnis does great work and cleaned up the rag on top of my head better than anyone ever has. Don’t waste your money at any of the chain hair cutting establishments, for the same price and much better quality, let Beale Street take care of you.Mark Sinnis is one of the nicest and most professional individuals you’ll ever meet. This place just opened and it is amazing. Mark is the owner and you can tell him what you want or just let him use his creativity. The prices and wait times are reasonable. Call for an appointment during busy times or just drop in during the non-peak times.

Loved it... went in with my boyfriend to get his haircut and he wasnt busy so decided to get mine trimmed up to. Mark is a great guy, so nice! we had a GREAT conversation while he was cutting my hair. Totally down to earth kinda guy, dont let the tats fool you, theres no pretensions with this one. Heart of gold. He made me feel like we were old friends. His prices are very reasonable and he knows what hes doing so your getting a great deal. And besides his shop being full of fun collectibles that are fun to look at and talk about with him, he serves Miller High Life (the champagne of beers) while you wait. What more can you ask for in a barbershop... eh?

He filled me in at the end of the day when he didnt have to. He takes pride in his shop and in the service he provides. Literally the best cut and fade Ive gotten since the barber shops outside of Ft. Sill when I was in the army 10+ years ago. He works alone so do him a favor and make an appointment. Its not that he doesnt want walk in business its that he really takes his time while doing meticulous work. If I could vote higher than 5 stars I would, I left his shop a new man.

Went in to Beale Street a few months back for the first time. The owner Mark came highly reccomended by a few buddies of mine and it is east to see why. The shop is very clean and has a unique rock n roll vibe that is perfect for the neighborhood. Mark Sinnis is my barber. Its taken me 10 years to find an old school barber. He not only has great skills, his shop is unbelievable. Its a 1950s time capsule dedicated to the great days of the past, Elvis, velour couches, record player with 50 jumping juke box music.
