Great service and attention to detail.. The wait here is usually quite long because they are are that good. This is not a 7 minute Great Clips assembly line haircut, but a detailed and precise one where they actually use scissors. I am a pilot and have to have a conservative haircut, but I would come here if I was a rock star as well. They have a great bunch of diverse customers wanting all types of haircuts and they excel with all of them. I wouldnt go anywhere else in ILM and urge you to give them a try... They are definitely worth the wait. Also, they made new renovations to the store with extra seating and another Barber chair.

Nicco was great. I am pretty picky with my fades but not only did he do a great fade the way I wanted it, it was super quick and affordable too! I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in the area again.

I have to say they did a fantastic job I have a undercut that I just recently had done about a month ago not even within a week my hair grew and so I was looking for a barbershop to go to on a regular basis to get it touched up fantastic job had a little bit of a wait but not too bad will be makeong an appointment next time fantastic continue to go back.

Had to get a haircut for a wedding and it was the best haircut Ive had in ages. Its located in a small strip off the edge of College road. If youre doing a walk in expect to wait. All the staff working are super friendly. The only problem I had was the wait, but thats only because they are good at what they do. Hopefully, they can one day open a larger establishment...

I’ve had the same person cut my hair for 14 years, I’ve been terrified to get a haircut since I moved to Wilmington because I’ve always just been able to go sit down and get my usual at my old barber. I walked in and sat down with Blaq and he listened to me and spun me around looking at me in his chair till we came to a agreement, then that man proceeded to give be the best cut i think I’ve ever had. Then shaped up my beard dusted me off and sent me out my way. $20 bucks wasn’t enough for what bro did to my head, had to give him $40! Just before me he was lining someone up, didn’t expect him to be able to cut my shaggy long hair this good. 10/10

Walk in shop. The wait was not terrible. Friendly group of guys. From what i observed in the time i was there each barber took the time to do a tremendous job. I had the pleasure of having Alex as my barber. He was very professional & detailed oriented. Im pleased with the job he did. Thanks!

I dont have enough hair to worry about getting it cut. I just shave it all off. But, I take my two year old son to Midtown. My son has been spirited when trying to get haircuts before we moved to Wilmington. The first trip to Midtown was not another experience I was looking forward to. However, and I really have no idea how to explain it, my son climbs in Mr. Bryces chair for a haircut willingly every time we are there. Bryce is great with him and my son gets a better haircut than anywhere else weve been. Dont hesitate to bring your kid here if youre looking for a great place to get their hair cut.

I love this place.! Of all the barbers I’ve been to with my boyfriend and guy friends, this was the cleanest, most organized, and laid back barber I’ve been to in years. Alex got my friend in the chair quick and without a problem. He just got out of barber school and SLAYED MY FRIEND! He is a beast! He came out looking like a new man😂 I highly recommend it ! By far the best cut I have ever had. Bryce is a perfectionist when it comes to his hair cuts. Ive had hundreds of haircuts before coming to Midtown and ever since Ive been stopped and asked who cut my hair. If you cant get in on a appointment but are lucky enough to grab a walk in spot its definitely worth the wait.

The best barbers ive been to in town. Being Asian and having thick/coarse hair I didnt go in with any expectations because my cuts are usually average from other barbers. The wait was long, but every guy that walked out with their cut looked fresh so I decided to wait (also was a Saturday). I came in with no expectations and left with possibly the best cut ive gotten in a very long time. These barbers are professionals.

Found the place on google and seemed to have decent reviews. None of the 16 reviewers mustve visited on Saturday. Read their hours are 9am-3pm so with 4 hours to spare I walk in only to find out on saturdays they are exclusive to appointments. Not upset but it sure would be nice if they could post these rules online for potential clients to learn before wasting time and gas. Will never be visiting this place again.

I got a great haircut first time I went (in July), but ever since then I havent been able to get in to get another appointment. Every time I tried to make one they would expect me to wait 2 weeks before they could even get me in. The one time I did have an appointment set up, the shop was spontaneously closed that day (no holiday or anything). Another time he said hed call me and let me know when the earliest spot was available. Still waiting on that. As good as the product here is, their customer service has made it not worth making the time to go. Hopefully they add a new barber soon, cause these wait times have lost them more that one customer Im sure.

This barber shop is always busy. It provides a time slot for when business is open, but its appointment ONLY which makes me feel less valued if I dont personally know the barbers.They seriously need to work on a better open schedule for both barbers, its usually booked up fast because theres only ONE barber in the shop at a time. I use to come to this barber shop before they started the appointments, I feel like its ruined the business for me..

Several hour wait as a walk in, but worth it. Bryce is EXCELLENT. He takes the time to give you the cut that you want and he has the skill to do it. I found him by using online reviews and they didnt disappoint. He takes reservations on a limited basis, which will make the process much more convenient.

Cuts always come out crisp, no matter which barbers chair you sit in. The line can be absolutely terrible depending on when you come in, especially on the weekends, but its worth it.
