Best barber shop around for men. Hate that prices went up so much, but I understand with the pandemic. Love that you can now make appointments online so you dont have to sit and wait, staff is great especially Luke and Mark. One of the few places that you can get a straight razor cut on neck and a beard trim. Once you go here, you wont want to visit any other barber shop.

My 11 month old son Myles’ first haircut with Luke was the best experience we could ask for. Myles was awestruck the entire time and experienced dad Luke is the baby haircut whisperer. Highly recommend! Send all your kids to Luke!

I have been going to marks for years. Me and my family moved to Virginia 3 years ago. I will say I plan my trips back home when I need a hair cut. Mark and his crew are the only ones I will trust to cut my hair and beard. You can not go wrong with choosing marks barbershop.

Haircuts are thorough and precise.They now have online booking which makes life so very easy.The prices are so affordable Im able up go once a fortnight.You will meet a lot of veterans there which is always nice. And they are just a few blocks from the Elsemere VA which, as a sidenote, has a great chow hall with daily specials that cannot be beat in town. Leeann is the cook and she will treat you right.Back to Marks barbershop. It is right next to the firehouse. Top notch in every way, shape and form. Classic and progressive cuts. The owner Mark is always there and I’ll wait an extra hour or two just to make sure he cuts my hair. Attention to detail is phenomenal, never rushed, always takes his time to make sure every hair is perfect. The warm lather strait edge shave with the hot towel on the neck piece finishes off the perfect hair cut EVERY TIME.

My grandkids get their haircut here. Always available and do a great job. Shawn and luke usually cut their hair.

I had scheduled an appointment 2+ weeks in advance, and on the day of my appointment, I walked in and was told there was no appointment and that I would have to wait. Their online scheduling does not work, so you will have to call them in order to make sure someone is helping you. They also do not wear masks, and make no effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.If you are looking to increase your chances of a family member dying while simultaneously not getting the haircut you set an appointment for, this is the place for you!

Marks Barbershop, is a very nice place the shop is very clean, the chairs are 6 feet appart. I schedule my appointments every 3 weeks. When you walk in to the shop you feel welcome unlike other Barbershops they do not rush on your cut they will not let you leave with a bad cut. Good job guys keep up the good work!

I shouldnt be saying this because I already have to wait most of the time. Not long but nevertheless never walk rite in to a empty barber chair. This place is excellent I start going here a little over a year ago by suggestion of my Nephew. The cut is always rite on and place has this happy to be here vibe. A neighborhood favorite. Mark the proprietor is very friendly and seems to know most of the people who walk through the door. The shop is open 7 days a week (including opening very early on Saturday morning). Consistently good haircuts, finished off with hot towels and a straight razor.neck shave. Reasonably priced.

Used to cut my hair myself! But when my wedding day was coming I figured Id go get it done and Marks is right down the street from my house... I havent touched my hair since Ive been coming back because they are all great inside doesnt matter which chair youre in!

Clean place and courteous staff. I was in and out quickly. They dont take credit card and I had no cash, but they told me to bring it back later. So I got my hair cut and then walked down to the Wawa, got cash and brought it back to pay. Very convenient and polite. I got a good haircut too.

I have been a customer of Marks Barbershop for over 12 years. In fact, I consider Mark a friend. It doesnt take one long to see that the normal small talk that takes place while getting a haircut is not just chit chat, but it quickly becomes obvious that Mark really does care for his clients which comes through in both his sincerity and the fact that he remembers even the smallest details from conversations that occurred years ago. Very clean shop, courteous and professional staff, reasonable prices and top notch haircuts makes Marks Barbershop Number One! (As a sidenote for the ladies, Marks Wife has a saloon for women right across the street with the same quality service.)

Ive been going to Mark about 18 years since his Hockessin days. His barbershop and the skill of all his barbers are top notch. If theres no parking in front of the shop go around back.
