The owner was not professional at all. He was to repaint the engine and put a pulley kit on it. He told me it would take 8 months it took over 3 years then he move to Brunswick County with my car so I had to get a court order to get the car back. Once I had it back I had to take to another shop to fix everything he touched and had to replace my engine because the new shop found metal inside the block. Please people don’t use him, his reviews are mostly from his friends I know his race buddy gave him a 5 star review. I have photographs to show everything that was wrong with the car.

An 8 month job turned into 3 years. The owner refused to return my car and even tried to steal it. We had to take him to court to get it back. He stole parts off my car and returned my car in worse condition then what it went in. Check Angie’s list and other reputable sources such as the BBB before using this shop and you will find that this man is a thief. He is out to make a fast dollar.He lied about being BBB accredited in North Carolina and a preferred shop with Hager’s Insurance In North Carolina. Both of with we have proof of!

Sure the work may look good but if you really knew what happens behind the scenes you would change your mind. As a former employee of Eddy’s I know what happens! Him and his wife have both harassed me and other employees. There has also been an incident when the owner eddy has thrown a spray paint bottle at me. Don’t bother taking your restoration project to him because it will get tossed to the side. All the owner cares about is the fast cash insurance cars. Do yourself a favor and go take your business to someplace that appreciates their employees

Eddy went above and beyond with their service. From the moment I called to have my car looked at, till I picked it up this afternoon. He kept me posted as to the progress, made sure I was comfortable with what he was doing, and even fixed some areas he didnt need to because it enhanced the look of the car. I would absolutely recommend Eddy in a heartbeat. The car came back looking magnificient!

After being sent here for an estimate from our insurance company, our car was towed here because their amount came in lower for repair cost. The car was brought there in October, after calling multiple times to get status updates we still had no definite finish date. Our quote from insurance states 4 days. That 4 days turned into 2 more claims filed with insurance and our car was still in pieces. We finally got our car back after a MONTH and a couple days. It was so frustrating not knowing when we were getting our car back and the constant push back of completion dates. I wont be using them for any repair work and I will be notifying my insurance company that if they plan to send work here that the people need to prepare for not having their car back in a timely manner. Otherwise the work done on the car seems to be holding up so far.

Flawless work. Good work doesnt come cheap and fast. There are many other places to choose from for that, but if you have a high quality resto-hot rod or race car Ed is the man to see. Lots of imitatators out there, but one look at the owners Chevelle says it all. I have been doing business with Ed for over 12 yrs and he has never let me down.

This guy will stick you. He owes me $4000 and will not answer or return messages left. Stay away from this guy......his work not as good as appeared because he and his shop knows how to hide the bad work they do.
