This review is not good, does not concern coastal ins. I found my way to this site however to complain. Had several conversations originally with a live agent not realizing a local office in Wilmington existed & was lead to believe Charlotte was the closest. The problem I am having is that I called Liberty Mutual & asked for matching coverage which was in effect including full coverage on my vehicle with 24 hr. Roadside & wanted to add the same to my mother’s vehicle. I went over it completely with the agent who actually texted me back to say. “All taken care of, same coverage”. Little did I know that not only did he for some reason take it upon himself to talk my mother into saving what amounted to $25 a month by only placing liability coverage on her vehicle I found out only after I needed it that my vehicle had no roadside assistance. I consider this a breach of trust. Not sure what type of agents Liberty Mutual allows to write coverage however being in professional sales for over 25 years I do know that it is important to ensure correct precise information is relayed to all parties involved. The gentleman assured me that both vehicles would have full coverage with 24hr roadside & all he was supposed to do was have a brief conversation with my mother who is a little older now & somewhere between my explicit communication of what I had & what I wanted took it upon himself to either suggest or simply misquote policy coverage to me & my mother. Furthermore I was not given the courtesy of him making one more phone call or a simple text back to me explaining that my mother did not receive full coverage but in fact only had basic liability. Go figure & soon after the policy was written had the first accident in my life. It was only at this point that I found out there was no coverage for towing on either vehicle & hers had no full coverage. Simply put, I have lost all confidence in Liberty Mutual & will never trust their services again.Michael Lewis, very dissatisfied customer
