I called on Monday and scheduled for Thursday. I explained my mother was on life support in another town 2 hours away and I knew it was probably an easy fix for my dryer but my time was needed in being with my Mom. Flat service fee was 99.00, no problem, parts were extra but no additional fee when tech returned with the part. Tech was timely and professional. I had returned to town for this appointment leaving my Mom. Tech explained repair needed ( a knob). I explained I bought the dryer from Archers almost a year ago so I knew it wasn’t under warranty and I understood it is probably an easy fix but right now given the circumstances I couldn’t put much more energy into anything but being with my Mom and family 2 hours away. Tech warned me that GE parts can be expensive. I said not a problem I needed easy and simple right now. I received a phone call from the service coordinator (as I was with my Mom and they were removing her life support), it went to voicemail. The message states the part cannot be ordered or found anywhere the tech will not be returning. I am now experiencing the loss of my mother (2 hours away) and my children and their caregiver need a dryer. I go online, order the part on Amazon and will now wait for it to be delivered, having to leave my Mom to pick it up and put it on the dryer. Archers didn’t feel I was worthy of a 2nd service call for an $11 part they could have easily up priced and I would’ve been okay with it because I was willing to pay for convenience. I will end by saying businesses can either make a happy customer for life or a passionate dissatisfied customer for life. I wasn’t worth a return service visit so they lied and said the part couldn’t be found. I am passionately dissatisfied.

I dealt with Rowan (Rowanne?) who was very friendly but also very professional. She helped me get a fridge I wanted, black or stainless, within my budget and in a timely manner. She came back to me with an awesome fridge that was BOTH black and stainless!We had to wait just a couple days to seal the deal but that was because the team needed to properly stress test the refrigerator before sending it out to me. I always check with Archers first for all my appliance needs. I bought a used washer and dryer from them a few years ago and had a great experience. When my dryer needed a service I didnt want to do myself and risk damaging our new dryer I knew the right people to call. Their technician showed up the next day and was there 10 mins before the scheduled appointment and was in and out in 30 minutes. I recommend these guys any chance I get. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful staff. We had purchased a nice GE washer from Archers and the staff was helpful in picking it out. We paid for delivery and day of delivery an incident occurred with my dog and the delivery man, John. Both John and the owners of Archers were extremely professional and showed kindness and compassion during an event that could have gone so much worse. It was a true indicator that the owners/staff at Archers appliance are good people and I will continue to recommend their business to anyone in the market. I bought a used freezer from Archers that worked at the store but by the time I got it home it didnt. A part went bad and they said that they would replace it. When they found that the part was no longer available and there were no aftermarket parts they found a newer freezer of the same size and replaced the freezer instead. They went above and beyond. I will definitely shop here again.

MAtt arrived right on time and did everything he could to repair the broken door on our Wall Oven. He was able to get the door repaired to where it closes and can be used, but is trying to get a part to make the repair even better and longlasting. All this for $99 ! Archers is A+++ with us

The heating element in my dryer broke and I called Archers. Jeffrey and James were able to have it diagnosed and repaired within 3 days of me making the initial appointment. Im a first time customer of theirs and I am amazed at how quickly and carefully they got the job done. Much to my surprise, it was very affordable and they even swept up after they were finished! This is a great family owned business and I recommend them for all of your appliance repairs.

Amazing service. Fridge broke down and they came within hours. Jeff was extremely professional and kind. He explained each thing that he was doing so I had no surprise. My only surprise was how low the bill was for all he did. So happy I did not need a new fridge. He did warn me about some dust that might appear due to something he had to vacuum. Good experience at Archers Appliance

The appliance repairman himself was polite and efficient. However, they pushed the date back twice and the woman on the phone was very abrasive despite me trying to work with their schedule. I would choose again if they had better customer service skills.

I am so impressed with Archers Appliance. When my washer broke, my husband watched some YouTube videos and tried to fix it twice. That didnt work. I called Archers and described the problem. Chip said he suggested that the clutch was bad and he got my make/model and went ahead and ordered the part so that they wouldnt have to come twice. He promised that if the part was wrong, I wouldnt have to pay for the part. They do charge a $75 fee to come out and look at it, which is perfectly reasonable. Well, they really know their stuff! The technician came out and the clutch was bad. He replaced it and now my 13 year-old washer is like brand new. I am very pleased to recommend Archers Appliance. They have years of expertise, they are honest and punctual, and its a family-owned business. You cant beat that.

Great little place, nice sales, repair & delivery staff, theyve been in Wilmington a long time, I trust them. Archers worked w/ me to get older-model washer / dryer at a reasonable price. A little back-and-forth waiting for model I wanted, swapping out item I didnt like, doing additional maintenance at my house, and this was all handled courteously, no fuss, very reasonable cost. Booking our appointment for our Samsung washer was quick and easy, the technician showed up within the scheduled time frame ( 2hr block) and was able to fix our issue. He was kind and courteous and even cleaned up after himself. We will continue to use Archers in the future for any of our appliance needs.

Good communication with the office, and the repair person James called before arriving and was on time. He opened our washing machine, demonstrated what was wrong, and discussed with me what my best option was. The repair was done quickly and professionally, and again he demonstrated what had changed before closing up the machine and running a test. Overall I found the company and technician very efficient and professional.

Went in to purchase a fridge and was told it had to go through checks first which is fine then they let me know it is good and they would hold it for a max of 2 hours and this was at 2:22 and I said we will be there to pay for it just find out they sold it at 330 and never called us to let us know So the wife left early from work for no reason. Please don’t go here this place will let you down. Personal opinion is that the fridge was sold to a person one of the employee knows. Terrible business practice by misty.

Archers Appliance did a great job fixing my dryer. The lady that handled my request who I spoke to on the phone was kind and promptly scheduled my service. Jeffrey the mechanic was a professional, courteous, and took pride in his work. He even took the time to clean around and behind the dryer. I was really pleased with Archers service!

Ive had Archers out to my homes on 2 different occasions. First time it was about a refrigerator several people told me to discard and buy a new one. I didnt want to do that because it was my mothers refrigerator and it had sentimental value and it still looked good. archers fixed it for about $250. and have not had any problem with it.today I had them fix my washing machine. Labor $75. and parts $124.00. He was real fast too. Just because it has some age on it, it doesnt mean its time to discard. I usually get 16 -20 years out of My appliances and when I do discard, they still look good. Nothing but success from Archers for me.And when you have to discard, carry to recycle place. Went there to look for a mobile home trailer washer, dryer & refrigerator. Limited selection on full size and nothing suitable for a mobile home. I felt prices were high for what they offered.

I was totally impressed with their service. I bought my refrigerator from Sears and called them for service. It was going to take them 6 days to get out. I called Archers and they came that afternoon! Jeffrey was our repairman. He was polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. He figured out what was wrong, temporarily fixed it until a part could come in and explained the problem. I would recommend them highly and will call them with any other repairs I ever have. Plus they were extremely reasonably priced. They are the best!

Asked around for recommendations for a service company to repair my three-year-old Samsung washing machine. Archer’s Appliance Repair was consistently mentioned. From the time I made the first phone call until the service man left my house it was an excellent experience. $75 for the technician, James, to walk in the door. When I agreed to his recommended repair, that $75 was used as the installation charge. He quickly diagnosed the issue, had the necessary parts in his van, replaced it and we tested it with a load of wash. He was on the way out the door in just about an hour. He kept me informed the entire process. I was pleased with how my expectations were set and met. I highly recommend.

Our Frigidaire dryer went out after just a year of moderate use and we had a few recommendations for Archers. We paid over $100 for someone to come out for him to tell us we needed to replace the writing harness and thermostat at almost $400 with labor! We opted to extend our warranty and go through a certified technician, as by the time all was said and done we’d have paid for a new dryer and couldn’t be sure we wouldn’t have future problems. The person who came to give us another opinion and repair our dryer said that only a single wire was broken and that there was NO reason for harness or thermostat replacement. He also said the previous guy put some cheap tape on the broken wire (without our knowledge), which was high voltage and a MAJOR fire hazard. Do not get robbed by this place by unnecessary parts and labor and please do not put your home and family’s safety at risk by having someone do something so dangerous!

Archers appliance gave outstanding service from start to finish. Melody in the home office was polite and prompt and Jeffrey was professional and courteous. The touchpad went on our LG range. The part was ordered and promptly installed. Jeffrey was so kind as to ask for a broom and dustpan to clean behind the range since it was pulled out. Service with a smile :)

My appointment was between 5-7 which worked wonderfully with my work schedule. I received a call 10 min prior to him coming to the house. The vent was packed full of lint all the way up the wall and to the outside of the house. He cleaned every bit out, vacuumed up all the lint leaving it cleaner than when he arrived, and was done in less than an hour. The best part was the cost. I was expecting it to be way more expensive but was pleasantly surprised at the final cost. I highly recommend Archers Appliance & Repair!

If you have and 💜 a vintage appliance and have been told its not worth the service call ... Archers Appliance are the folks to call! They are prompt in making appointments, arriving when they say they will and thorough in assessing the problem. There is a $75 one time charge for labor and the part ordered may be available online for a cheaper price but having the skills and expertise to install it makes the cost a very reasonable arrangement. Christian and Jeffrey were courteous and knowledgable in addition to be younger than my wall oven! I will call them again !

Our ice maker was broken. I called Archers. I was able to make an appointment for that week. They were up front on how much it would cost. They called before they came and they were there when they said they would be. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Have used Archers on three occasions now (repair on a washing machine and diagnosis on refrigerator and dishwasher) and have been highly satisfied each time. Their customer service from the office is always excellent, technicians are knowledgeable and prompt, and they do their best to make things affordable for the customer. They charge an upfront flat fee, but do not charge any additional labor if they have to come back with a part (as happened with my washing machine). Highly recommend them!

We have lived in this home since 1987 so you can only guess the number of times we have had to have repairmen over for various issues. Of all those repairs, our experience with Archers has been the absolute best. They arrived on time but also called during our appointment window to update us as to exactly what time they would be here. We had to reschedule one visit (my fault) yet they were pleasant and understanding. The repairman (Jeff) was very professional yet very personal and friendly. He did not waste time and checked the entire appliance to be sure it was functioning @100% opposed to just taking care of the stated complaint. He actually cleaned up after himself.....broom, dust pan and all. He brought his own towels and other supplies most of the other repairmen asked us to supply once they got here. We highly recommend Archers
