This is a two part business. Auto Repair side and the Tire Shop. I have used them for years and different vehicles. IMO, there is not a better local shop for tires. That side is incredible and earns 5 stars across the board every time. However, unless you want to pay exorbitant diagnostic fees, top tier parts pricing, and near top tier technician pricing, I believe you now have better options for the auto repair side. And in the event you have to get back in for a recurring issue, you may find yourself arguing for a reasonable time slot. Unfortunately, after many years and and a handful of vehicles, I will be moving on from the Auto Repair side.

Tracys has fixed a clutch problem twice in my 20+ year old Honda Civic with 275K miles. The last time it was there I also had them fix a non-functioning drivers side window. Tracys did a fantastic job. It feels great to be able to roll down that window, not have rain dribbling on to me, and use a drive thru without doing yoga to pay or get my food.

Engine splash guard busted on the highway. They offered to do a temporary fix so I can get back on the road. Didnt charge me. Great service!

Super friendly service, I believe that I talked mostly with Patrick. My car sounds better than it has in years, and this is the first time since buying my car that the turn signals havent been going double-time. They did a great job!

Took my 08 Chevy Cobalt in to have an alignment done. The tech found an issue with a wheel bearing and was told about the issue immediately. Was not charged for that time and inspection. Fixed the issue and took back in on a busy day. They were able to work in my vehicle and had the alignment completed quickly. Picked up my vehicle and it drives well down the road. Great service and communication.

Theyve been honest with me. They advised me against paying them 1k for a repair on an old car. Told me it was better to scrap the car and buy something on Craigslist for that price. I know they would have made money off that repair but they did not take advantage of me.

Ive been going here for several years and have always had a good experience. Adam and the rest of the staff are always helpful and friendly. Took my Elantra in for 2 minor repairs today and they waived the charge completely unsolicited.

They are really nice. They arw fast and friendly. I always come here for everything.

Wow! What a great experience! I had a flat tire just a couple blocks away from here.. looked up the closest tire shop and this was it. Drove my car here and without 30 min they had patched the tire and I was on my way. Very fast, great service and would highly recommend coming here again. (1st street location)

Our car wouldnt start one morning and Downtown Tracys Automotive came to the rescue! Patrick answered the phone and was super nice & helpful. They arranged to have it towed within the hour and called shortly after with the diagnostic results. The price was very reasonable and Mike did everything that needed to be done. They even were able to deliver the car back to us at no charge!! They are the BEST!!

(in the time of quarantine) I needed new tires and we received our stimulus check, so I figured we would get the job done. Patrick helped answer all my questions over the phone. The tires they offered (I checked them on Consumer Reports) were top rated. They picked up my car, worked on it and delivered it back. I am so pleased with the helpfulness and the tires look wonderful -- cant wait to get out and road test them!I will follow up on this because theres more to getting tires than just putting them on the car! But right now, I am super pleased!Update 8/17/20 - Still super pleased we got them done! Shoot, after alignment, car drives SO much better on the highway.

I had a wonderful experience. My car had an unusual tire that I needed to have patched and they were able to fix it and rotate my tires. They didnt even charge for the patch. Such a convenient location if you work downtown, but even if you dont, they offer to drive you to work or home after dropping off your car. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend them!

They got my car in and running in less than 24 hours. Very friendly and professional... My only issue was to find out they had put universal fluid back into my coolant system instead of OEM recommended coolant. I prefer to keep my car as it was intended. Now I have to spend $160 to have it flushed and refilled with the correct coolant.

Very reasonably priced oil change. We called ahead and scheduled for a standard oil change and what all that included. They were professionally friendly and the lobby had a lot of seating choices. Judging from the traffic I saw today Id say that they are a good business.

Usually great service. Recently tried to make an appointment to get an oil change. Online form had 7am as an option, since thats when I go to work (and I can just walk to work from there) thats what I chose. Turns out theyre not open. Theres no drop for keys either.Why is that an option if youre not open?Warning: if you need to make an appointment, call.

Super fast and friendly service. Much better than some of the bigger, more corporate stores in town... Id much rather support a local business that wants me to come back:-) very easy to work with, got me in and out for an oil change and inspection in record time.

I decided to write this review after being prompted to by a friend who also had a negative experience here.The first time I came here I had a good experience. I had to swerve and hit a curb going about 35mph to avoid having my car totaled by some genius on their phone and needless to say I could tell there was some significant damage done to my suspension. I brought my car to Tracys and asked them to look it over and tell me what all needed replaced but NOT to replace it because I would do that myself and then bring it back for an alignment. They did just that, I replaced everything and brought it back for an alignment. When I got my car back it drove great, no pulling and the steering wheel was perfectly straight (I had told them off center steering wheels bug me alot).My issue comes with the 2nd time I brought my car there for an alignment (about 4yrs later). I had just done a rear disc conversion on my car so the alignment on the back end was all messed up (the wheels were scraping the body) and unfortunately the alignment rack at my work was acting up. So I drove my car 10mph halfway across town to Tracys. About two hours later they call me to tell me that they cannot perform the alignment because my car is to low. I found this odd because I had not adjusted the height of my car since the last time I was there and questioned the guy a bit more.He told me they had gotten a new alignment rack and the arms on the wheel sensors didnt fit. We spoke for a minute more and I ask to see the alignment rack because it sounded like the one at my work. It was in fact the exact same one and I told him that my car would fit on there because I had performed an alignment on my car twice already using the exact same type of machine. He continued to assure me that it couldnt be done if there master aligner couldnt do it, despite the fact that I had already successfully done it. I even told him two small things that had to be done differently to get the sensors on properly and be able to be read by the machine and asked if they could try once more since I had waited and didnt want to drive my car with the tires rubbing. He refused. In addition to him refusing, I found it odd that a master aligner, as he put it, couldnt figure out how to do it, when a lube tech like myself could.

Ive been taking my car to Tracys for almost 20 years and will continue. I have always been treated with the upmost respect and know that my car has been repaired correctly when I pick it up. In the past, I have taken my car to other shops and always felt like they took advantage of me because I was a female. Tracys has proven to me many times that they would never do this. I highly recommend them to everyone!

I started using Tracys about 15 years ago. They were the only place that could get my two-piece rims balanced. Since then they have done the service on all of my vehicles including work units. Ive never had any issues them and Mike is the only guy I trust with my cars, both new and antiques.

They solved a electrical problem in my car, that burned through alternators, generators and batteries. Previously, I had spent a fortune at the dealership on this without solving the problem. No more issues after their repair.

In my opinion they were dishonest about what needed to be done to my vehicle and overcharged for the work they did. I wont be going back. I hear they used to be honest and reliable but that has not been my experience.

I wanted to be a loyal customer at Tracys because the first time I went there, they went far and above the call of duty. However, over the next couple of years worth of routine visits, a few patterns emerged:- My car is almost never ready when they initially say it will be. Most of the time, its a day or two later.- My bill is almost always greater than what they tell me it will be. This isnt true of simple oil changes, but every other time Ive brought my car in, they call me to tell me what it will cost, then call later to tell me oops we also have to do this other costly thing.The final nail in the coffin was my most recent experience. I have my engine worked on in a different shop that specializes in my brand of car. The engine mechanic noticed my rear tires wearing unevenly. I took it to Tracys, because they did the alignment. What started out as You need new rear tires and then well re-align it ended up as You need new rear tires, new rear struts, and a 2-hr job to get your front tires aligned, and a bill of over $1000. The most suspicious part is that theyre the ones who did the last alignment. For all I know, it wasnt properly done and thats why the rear struts failed so suddenly. I wont be going back.

Im not sure if I will use this business again. I bought a new set of tires a year ago and they offered free tire repair and rotation. When I went back to have my oil changed and tires rotated I was told that they would rotate the tires every other oil change and my tires didnt need to be rotated. They also changed the wiper blades without my permission and tried to charge me for them. Next time I will use my Ford dealership where I get the FULL service for only a few more dollars.

I had a great experience with Tracys. They were the only shop still open at 12:30 on a Saturday, and they got my car looked at even though they were busy. They worked with a warranty company as a middle man for me to help get my repair cost covered and fixed my problem. They also communicated with me via email and helped present my case to the warranty company with photos and job notes. Thanks Aaron and all the guys over there!

I have been going to Tracys off and on for several years. My first experiences with them were great, they had fantastic customer service and great products. Then for a moment the customer service began to be really bad and I ultimately had to stop going to them because they became untrustworthy. For the last 2 years I have gone to another mechanic but recently came back to Tracys. My last visit with them showed that the customer service level was back to being amazing and I felt I could trust them more this time. I am always nervous about mechanics, especially being a woman. I feel that Tracys has been honest to me about the services they have provided and the prices they have charged me. They were quick to respond when I came and dropped my car off out of the blue and was even able to return it to me within the same day even though they were swamped. I enjoy them but am still hesitant to give them a better review until I have had more experiences again with them so I can trust them like before.

Traceys and its entire team are stand up individuals, that go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Ill be back, and would highly recommend to anyone needing a trust worthy automotive shop.

My first two visits were perfect. When i returned for the third I was informed my guy Aaron was no longer there. I had my oil changed that day and it took almost 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The counter guys were very rude when I questioned the long wait. I paid my bill and on the way home I noticed there was no reminder sticker. I called and was placed on hold for almost 8 minuets! Doug answered and when i asked him about the sticker, he acted annoyed with my complaint. Will not go back. I will tell everyone to avoid this place.

Tracy’s delivers Excellent customer service every time! We have used them to service our fleet for nearly 16 years and they are Incredibly accommodating and helpful.

They havent ever messed anything up, but I am considering not returning to them as a customer based on my customer experience I have had with them this time.Normally, very prompt service, but this time it is taking far, far too long. There was a problem with my AC, and i was told they needed to ship a part in to resolve the problem. I understood this, and they stated Monday it should be in (6 days from original drop off date on a Tuesday). I call on Tuesday of the following week, and want to see what the status is on the vehicle, and they inform me the part showed up that morning, and they were working on it then. I inquired about the estimated time to have to completed by, and if it was probable to have to ready for mid day the following business day. They responded and stated they were working on it at that very moment, and should be ready for the following day. I requested to have them follow up with me and let me know what is going on with it. The day closes out, and no follow up from the shop. I call the following day (Wednesday by this point), and i call to check on the status of it again. I receive the same answer, were working on it right now, and were shooting for this evening to have it working. Its in tight spaces and all that.Its now Thursday, no callbacks, no information given, I am having to hunt down what they are doing, and very much feel like I am being given a push off, theyre always working on it stating that the problem is a seized bolt, and by my calculations that has been worked on for a minimum of 14+ hours according to their statements, and stating that the cars frame/spacing is whats causing it to take so long. I feel like theres no ownership of blame from them, and are not admitting having a fault in this.Tracys needs to do a better job about informing their customers of what is going on, and making sure that they give a reliable timeline, and either stick to it or have someone follow up with their customers and inform them about whats happening. Having a vehicle out of your life for work is always unsettling, but they are making it more agitating by the performance of their customer care.

For years Ive worked downtown and always had to drive way out east to get my oil changed on my lunch break. Today, I gave Tracys a whirl. Loved it! Fast and inexpensive. Theyre very thorough. They give you a checklist of everything they went through on your car and show you the status. Two thumbs up!
