The service department is outstanding! I recently had to stop for service, I was in Wichita from out of town and had to make a long drive home when my check engine light came on. Roger was very knowledgeable about the 2021 Mazda6. This was the vehicle I was interested in and he was able to answer all my questions. I felt like he was looking after my best interests.
We had a great experience here with Ryan and DJ. It was the best car buying experience we ever had. They answered all our questions, they showed us how everything worked. And were very much cards on the table about what everything was going to cost. And even though we are in the middle of a new card chip shortage, we got a great deal on exactly the car we really wanted.
My daughter purchased a CX-5 from David-Moore Mazda a few years ago. It has proven to be a very reliable and satisfying vehicle to own and drive. She took it into the dealerships service center for some work the other day and tried to use a coupon. The dealership REFUSED the coupon because it was ONE DAY EXPIRED. On top of this, they charged her over $500 for additional work they said was needed. To say my daughter was shocked that they wouldnt accept the coupon is an understatement, but she didnt try to pursue the matter although in retrospect - its not like a customer can choose when a car issue arises. I am posting this here and on other social media platforms both locally and nationally as a way to help inform you, the consumer. In the past, businesses could perform strong-arm tactics leaving you, the customer, with very few options. But today with the advent of the internet and social media, the customer can have the upper hand and expose businesses for their short-sightedness. My wife and I have always loved our daughters CX-5 and are now in the market for a new vehicle ourselves. But now, we have crossed David-Moore off our list. Lets let businesses know that, especially in this day and age, their actions have consequences.
I have taken my CX-5 in 3 times since last November to have my breaks worked on. They have replaced them twice now (all 4 in November and 2 the first week of Aug) due to grinding/squealing. The issue seems fixed when I pick it up every time but eventually starts again. I am once again having the same issue and no longer trust them to fix the problem so I’ll be taking it elsewhere to be looked at. Maybe they do fine in other areas but I don’t recommend their service department for anyone looking to have their breaks worked on.
I just purchased a 2019 Rouge and I tell you the service was impeccable! From the general manager Chris, the finance manager Russ to my salesman DJ I was impressed. The transaction was the smoothest Ive ever experienced! They were not pushy at all. The atmosphere was inviting and everyone was nice. DJ was easy to talk to and took really good care of my family. This entire car buying experience was great. I tried buying local but the dealership was not very trustworthy or provided me good service. I reached out to Davis-Moore Mazda and their GM (Chris M.) called to talk about what I’m looking for in a car. I asked the dealership to get me a specific car and they made it happen within a day. I rather drive two hours to buy my car from a trusted dealer than to drive two miles. Chris got me hooked up with Michael R., who took care of me when I came to Wichita to complete my purchase. Michael R., was the friendliest and most professional salesman I have worked with and took great care of us. Even after I left he made sure I was taken care of. I will definitely come back when I need another car and I didn’t have to spend all day there.

Im very happy I waited because I purchased the new Mazda CX-30. I had been looking at the Mazda CX 5. I did have to return for a little paint issue on the hood but Im sure they will take care of it should it become a bigger issue. Also thank you to Sean Tarbell as he was very gracious to us .

I asked to see a car I had seen online and was able to see the vehicles without answering unnecessary questions first. The test drive was great and I made my decision on the vehicle. Worked with Jackson, very laid back and low pressure sales. Had a nice test drive and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Was very honest about what was good and not as good with the brand and the specific model. Left to look at some other cars some place else but ended up returning and purchasing a car from him.The finance guy was a bit more pushy and didnt seem to appreciate us asking lots of questions but Jacksons good work out shone enough to earn a 5 start overall rating.

I consider myself a self-taught expert (at least until I forget everything ha). That research took us to Davis-Moore Mazda in Wichita, Ks. This dealershipis special !! Do NOT buy a car from this establishment. I have waited 2 months for them to do the right thing and they refuse. They think I will buy a car from them after the sales person did a bait and switch and ran a loan for another car without my approval. I was being shown a car that I was interested in and the sales person used my information to apply for a loan for a different car. I was never told the car I was applying for was already sold. They thought since I was already approved for a loan I would buy the other car. They were wrong. I felt not being told the car I applying for the loan for was sold was very deceptive. Then they thought I would want to do business with them after this happened. I still expect them to contact the loan companies and have this unauthorized loan request retracted. Credit inquiries like this stay on your credit report for over 2 years. I just wanted to let people know how they treat new customers.
Review of the Service Center-I came from out of town for my drill weekend on base and ended up having problems with my Mazda 6. I had it towed to Davis-Moore late Friday night. Even though they were busy Saturday, they took the time to get my car in, diagnose the problem, and have it done before they closed so I wasnt stranded over the rest of the weekend. Long story short, it just needed some codes reset and the battery full recharged, which they did at no charge! These guys were great and I would recommend them to anyone!

We have been customers of the Davis-Moore Mazda since 2002 when they were in the tiny shop closer to Oliver. Weve been using the maintenance department for most of our maintenance since 2014. The maintenance staff are so friendly and kind.
My husband and I came here, looking for a new vehicle for our expanding family. Roger helped us, and was amazing throughout the entire experience. He was extremely knowledgeable, and seemed more trustworthy than any dealership we had been to before. We even got a call a couple weeks later to make sure that we were still happy with our purchase. We highly recommend this dealership.

I have not encountered a sales person who is trying to pressure you into making a deal. The Finance office went above and beyond trying to find a fit to match the monthly payment I wanted.

The sales department for sure deserves at least 4 or 5 stars as tested by many positive reviews here. The reason for this one star is because of Mazda service department. Constant disappointment. Customer service is basically nonexistent. They will make you feel like they are doing you a FAVOR. Save yourself the troubles and headaches. Buy the cars and go somewhere else for service/maintenance. A shame for such a great car company. The service department is a black sheep in this Mazda location. If you dont trust this review, just go there to service your car and then next time go to another dealership service department (Hyundai, Honda, etc..) and feel the difference. To be clear, this is only applicable to Mazda service department not sales department.
Rich is excellent and a very nice guy. I will say beware of hidden fees. Negotiated the price down but ended up paying more than what we started at. None of this was mentioned until after we were 50% of the way done with paperwork. Kinda shady business practice. When negotiating, make it VERY clear the max amount of money you will be writing a check for, otherwise expect to dish out $1k more than the agreed upon price.
Went in looking for a new Miata. Worked with Richard and Skyler to make a deal happen. Super helpful with information and didn’t feel pressured into making a decision.

The collision department did a fabulous job removing a couple of nasty, sharp door dings in the fender of my CX-9. They were located in a particular crease in the body that left me thinking they probably wouldnt be able to get them out completely. I was so happy when I picked up my car and the marks were GONE! The service department people are always courteous and knowledgeable. Im a four-time Davis-Moore customer, and while I wont be parting with my CX-9 any time soon, I will definitely purchase there again.

Following a 60,000 mile inspection on my Mazda 3, June 23, 2020, I was told that my cabin filter needed to be replaced badly. When I questioned it, I was told that it was in really bad shape. I had just replaced it the night before. He also told me that my front brakes were in the 0% (red) range and needed to be replaced (less than 3 mm); the rear brakes were in the 20-50% (yellow) range. The rear brakes had just been replaced 8 months prior and I didnt drive anywhere for 4 of the 8 months, so I was skeptical, especially after the cabin filter issue. A few days later, I had my brakes inspected elsewhere. I was told that my rear brakes were basically brand new and the front brakes had 6-8 months remaining (4-5 mm). Ive owned five Mazdas over a 34-year period, but this dealership has lost my business. A customary free car wash doesnt replace integrity.

It is wonderful to have the same sales person (Fahim) he has helped us with the 4 out of 5 cars. He cares even after the sale and I appreciate that. I purchased my car from Sabin who was super nice! He took his time browsing cars with me, walked around and showed me some options and then when I was interested in a car he let me test drive it over night. I decided to buy it he filled it with gas, washed it, vacuumed it and had it all nice and waiting for me when we finished paperwork with Oscar, the finance guy, who was also very nice and thorough with our paperwork. The whole experience was very smooth, simple and Id definitely buy a car here again!

I had no intention to buy or lease a new car as I went in for service, but they do a great job at making great deals. My advice: quit being scared and play the game. Take the time to hear what they have to say. I guarantee you that Im more strapped for cash working in a ministry-oriented job while going to school full-time, but they accommodated me very well.
