I take care of my vehicles as best as possible. I brought in my vehicle to Alexanders to nspect my undercarriage. Multiple issues were found. They took photos to show me where the immediate concerns were. My engine mounts definitely needed replaced. This was not something that was within my abilities.As it was not an immediate issue, I authorized this repair. They had to actually order the parts. After the parts arrived, we scheduled the repair. I dropped off my vehicle first thing in the morning. This also allowed for as much time as possible, and I wouldnt be waiting in their nice lounge. A full day was necessary fror the repair. They did take a little longer than anticipated, as the vehicle is 9 years old with almost 190,000 miles.They finished it up, and my wife is now driving it with a better sense of security.The cost of the repair was worth the care and ability that was put into it.As my wife keeps her vehicle very very clean, it made it easier for the repair as well.Well done Alexanders Automotive!

Amazing service! We broke down on our way back to Texas from Colorado and pulled into their shop at 5pm. Even though they close at 6 they stayed until 7 to fix my car so we didnt have to overnight in Witchita. They also packaged my failed part so I could take it to my main mechanic and get a refund. Reasonable price than what I expected from another competitors. I called around to find what the price to replace my heater core. The person on the counter asked me just to bring my car in. $350 is much less than $800 and it was just thermostat and they fixed really good with hot air when I left the shop and still blow hot air till today after a week repaired. I m glad I did it for a second opinion at Alexanders. I truly recommend this shop to other people. Do not assume or replace what is not working on you car until you speak to ASE technician.

Brought my Hyundai in today for coolant leak from Radiator as I assumed. Alexander called me back to take a look on my email. When I opened my email, it is really amazing how he worked on my car. Unfortunately, I declined the work since it is more than what I cant afford but his work was awesome. by looking at the videos and picture so clearly. I will be back for the repair soon. I usually do not give people review about someone else.This time the shop owner asked me for since I was not happy. They worked on my vehicle with not start condition and other maintenance that they recommended me to get it done. Picked my vehicle and found hand grease and shoes mark on my driver seat and door panel. So I called them back and brought car back the next morning. I picked it up during my lunch time. I was so amazed not only they cleaned it up what I asked for but they detailed the interior and wash the exterior. It much cleaned then before I brought it. Bottom line, they are honest and made it right.

Traveling through on my way home from Texas and starting having trouble with my car. Called and ask if they could look at it for me and Daisy was super nice and helpful. Told me to come in and they’d check it out for me. They ran a diagnostic test and told me it would be fine to get me home and didn’t charge me anything! I was so thankful I found Alexander’s!

First time using Alexanders. They did a great job installing a new serpentine belt and engine air filter. Alex called me personally to explain the work he had done. The receptionist was very helpful in explaining the billing. We will definitely start using them as our regular mechanic.

Awesome work on my alignment and Air Conditioning. My AC wasnt blows cold air and vehicle drifted to the right after put new tires somewhere else. I was looking for both service and found One Stop Shop for what I needed. I had a plan to get the alignment somewhere else and get AC done at another shop but ended get both service at Alexanders. After having our car for 5 months we finally got it back only to be told that the employee that gave us the quote gave us wrong info and they wanted to charge us 1000 dollars more then quoted. They did do some extra work which I was willing to pay for but it was only about 400 to 500 dollars worth of work. Because they had a job that they said would take about a week take about 5 months to complete they said they would give us a discount of only 100 dollars. Mind you we paid for insurance on a car that we kept being told only a couple more days and we would have back. Also explained that their employee was the one who messed up but wouldnt honor the deal they quoted us. They finally discounted a little more but we still paid more then we really should have from our endless communication over 5 months. On top of it, about a week before we went to go pick up the vehicle some other employee called and gave us a super high dollar amount which we questioned and we were told they would research and get back to us but they never had answers when we called. For the majority of the time we were the ones following up with them and often has to call multiple times to get answers on a job that should have taken a week.

I have taken my cars here for the last few years because they are honest, fair and always helpful. I wouldnt think about taking my cars anywhere else since as a female I have been ripped off so called mechanics who just remove and replace parts randomly while I foot the bill. Alexanders is always correct in their evaluation & honestly will tell you if you have time left before total failure or whether its an urgent problem that should be fixed immediately. Go there, you wont be disappointed.

We were very please with the job on our 2011 Honda Accord. Get it in on Saturday get it done the same day for overheating. We were scared that they could not get it done and had to stay over the weekend. We were informed that we need a head gasket replacement and we almost just traded the vehicle in. On the second thought, we were recommend with one of my coworker to take it to Alexanders. Ouch, they fixed my radiator due to restriction inside. We drove it to St Louis and back over the weekend and it was OK. He is awesome and very please with the work and education about my Honda. We find a person that we can trust to maintain all our vehicles sooner. Thank you.

I had not found best Automotive service in town till someone recommended me to visit Alexander’s. I was very impress at him what he did much different than any other automotive services shop in Wichita. I received non stop communication and educate me exactly what went wrong in my 2007 Jeep grand Cherokee. I cant justify his values and benefit about his work over his price. I was extremely happy the time I dropped it off and picked it up. I would recommend to anyone to visit him and check it out his service. I will be coming to use his service now on.

I took my car to Alexanders to check the AC unit. Ive had trouble in the past with the AC in a car. Im told it was low on Freon and they refill it. Then it leaks out, because they didnt check for leaks. I was told they would pump the system down and see if they could hold it under a pressure difference. Then they discussed the results of their test and I had the Freon properly filled. Job Well Done!

My PCM went out on my 2000 Dodge Ram truck. Of course at th time I wasnt sure what the problem was other than I was getting a “No Bus” message where the mileage is usually seen. I was worried because this is the kind of thing a person can get “taken” on. I checked on YouTube and found the “No Bus” videos and knew there was a fix but who to trust with the job. I got the name of Alexanders Automotive from recommedations on the Nextdoor website which are neighbors in my area. I called the first thing the next morning and talked to the service manager and was very impressed with her just over the phone because she knew about the “no bus” message and explained possible scenarios for repair. I had the truck towed and they were very good in keeping me uptodate on what needed to be done and how much after I gave my okay before they proceded with work. Come to find out the PCM was bad and decided to have it rebuilt (which meant it needed to be sent off for that to be done) but I got a lifetime warranty on the PCM. I think they are reliable, qualified and reasonably priced.

I took my car into Alexanders to have it checked out due to a check engine light. They were able to diagnose the problem and help me decide whether it would be better to fix my car or consider looking for a newer more reliable one. They even helped with my search by allowing me access to an auction site so I could look at nationwide wholesale prices.

Came for air conditioning wasnt blowing cold and sometime blowing warm air out of the vents. Quoted need to remove the dashboard to replace the evaporator . Took it to Alexanders for a second look and he gave me an estimate for diagnostics time 2 hours just to trace the issues. I wasnt happy to hear it. Vice versa, it was still less expensive than the previous estimate I had from other. So I took a chance to have Alexanders diagnosed the issue and walked out of the door the same day with AC blowing cold air and it has been a week from now and had no issue. I am glad to visit his shop and will come back for more service. I do recommend to anyone come visit his shop for any car issues, either it is an electrical or mechanical...even diesel. Since Alex has sold out majority interest in his shop the prices have sky rocketed. The quality of work has become bad as well. Lastly I believe they are now sabotaging mechanical work to make the customer have to return for other problems. My car fell apart after having work done. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SHOP !!I compared a part recently and this shop was 50% higher than the dealer price.You had my business and my families for years, however now I will do everything in power to turn business away from your shop. Im also filing a complaint with the BBB.

Keep vehicle 3 days for check/estimate. Charged 300.+ broke tachometer, shift boot was ripped, and still not replaced as promised. Hooked up dash lights and turn signals but unplugged heater.Daisy told me nothing would be touched only an estimate was going to be worked up, that took another week, but I do have a 76. They sent the repair man to my home to make right and he did.He showed up around 8am without a call.Overall could not recommend.

Just went to Alexanders recently September of 2017 and Ill be honest at first I was upset since the place opened up late and my appointment was at 10 and they aopened maybe 10:20 or maybe sooner idk since I left and then received a call saying they were open. Went back and was received with a warm welcoming and an apology Alexander worked on my truck and was very descriptive of the whole procedure and how to avoid going back to save money on some issues. Very honest and productive. Ive read about the pictures he sends and I thought it was only too those who drop off the vehicles but no I was in the lobby (which is super comfortable and has a tv for Netflix) and he would still send me the pictures and even would let me go back so he could explain in detail to where I could comprehend what he was saying over all satisfied even though he was late but we all have those moments so very satisfied. Also pricing is reasonable not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Yiu pay for high quality work at a fair price. I will be back for other issues and will recommend to others.
