While I have been a customer a while, following the merger, we keep dropping connection. I work from home, and using TEAMS for online meetings, losing service can cause issues. I wish we could solve these issues as well as offer higher speed where I live. Oh well. I think they have great customer service.
We are always having issues with connection. If we have more than 2 devices connected things freeze up. I dont recommend this service, but 1 of our only options where we live.

We have our internet through them. Had an issue with our service and they sent someone the same day to correct... great customer service. Our internet service works great even for streaming TV. Highly recommend
They want to set up equipment on my home. My apartments wasnt having it. No wifi in electra.
I was one of the first Pinnacle customers in Archer City and their biggest fan until a recent merger with Santa Rosa communications (Vernon, Texas). Since then internet speed has slowed to a crawl. We had connectivity issues related to the modem, a tech came out replacing our modem and cable - this was a positive experience; however, there was an immediate lag in download/uploads. Im very disappointed and searching for another provider. Bigger is not always better!!
Internet started off great in 2017. Didn’t have connectivity issues /lag. Fast forward this year, I’ve had issues constantly, high packet loss %. They’ve looked into it and still have have not fixed it. If it wasn’t for them being my old provider in my area, I would’ve already left.
Had a small glitch, but they promptly took care of the problem. Their techs are friendly, and quite efficient to find and fix the problem. Very good value over other services.
Nearly $100 a month, for internet half the time not working. Ive called and theve helped, but within 24hrs its back to connection issues and speed decrease. Its been like this for months now...
Very professional customer service and technicians. Only good thing about them.They basically have a monopoly on my area ( Dean, Clay County ). I would rather have no internet than pay these people for no internet. Service is complete garbage, will have to move into town.I am updating this review.I did actually have to move into town. I require wifi for work. I need to operate multiple office devices and the constant internet outages led to a LOT of late nights at the Jolly Truck Stop for work (they have free wifi)
They always get a technician out to our home so quickly anytime we make an appointment. And the couple of times weve had issues with our bill, theyve responded quickly to correct it. We live in the country and we are so grateful to have a company like Pinnacle that provides us with a high speed option.
I received excellent customer service. Very helpful and informative staff when speaking to office. Someone was out same day to check internet availability. The tech was back in 2 days and quickly got me set up. Tech arrived early both times. They provided service when big companies couldnt. Speed is great. No interruptions. Very competitive pricing. Highly recommended!!
For all of you saying this is some good stuff it’s not. These people toggle your wifi at certain times of the day for a period of time usually lasting an hour. They do have a good staff and Adam is my favorite but I’m tired of calling asking what’s wrong and walking through the same thing that I’ve already done before calling. But after I call and do it boom it works so random.

Excellent signal at Lake Arrowhead where most phones dont even work. Awesome staff & responsive service. We have been using it for over 6 years now ..stream whatever, not gamers, think it is the best everInternet provider as of May,2020
Horrible, nothing ever loads. Constantly having to unplug. When we call sombody to fix it it takes them a week, and the WiFi will only work for about a week until we lose connection. If I was in need of WiFi I would not buy. 10/10 never buy agian
Pinnacle gives great customer service. I have had dial up, wireless and Hughes with terrible service. No problems with this company, Very satisfied for the last 5 years. Highly recommend.
Today we switched service providers! We have been unhappy with our previous provider: sporadic wait times to connect, being bounced off, and repeated calls to fix problems left same issues reoccurring. We suffered through four years of aggravating service until Pinnacle became available in Vernon.The difference with Pinnacle is immediately noticeable.Our installer, Taylor, was fabulous. He explained the service options, the “new” radio connection Pinnacle uses, installation procedures and tech support. Taylor is amicable, knowledgeable, diligent and a credit to your company! Looking forward to years of Internet happiness.
5G plan rarely gives you that speed. It will drop out under 1G very often for lengths at a time. Pricing is very competitive, but you get what you pay for. Which isnt much. Although, the people are nice.
Lovely people, great internet service. They really work with you to accommodate your needs. Installers are very diligent and respectful. Just a wonderful group of people altogether!
Update: seems like they do check the voicemail. Got a call today from Pinnacle asking if it was me who left this review. Still leaving Pinnacke for another ISP (Texhoma Wireless).Slow internet. Constantly dropping out. Sometimes we go days without internet. No overnight support just a voicemail that Im not sure anyone actually checks.
Wonderful people, local, well above and beyond average service and professional. Service accommodates all our needs and we have a gamer in the house.
Im so tired of not being able to use the internet. It drops out too much. You should work on improving the service in Petrolia.
I live on the edge of town and sadly all other internet providers ( besides the ones who use digital signals off cell phone towers, which is slower anyway) say they dont service in my location. So I get pinnacle. Im a college student who uses the internet very frequently when Im not at work or in town so I currently have their highest internet speed offered which is a very depressing and pathetic 5.8mb upload speed and a .86 download speed ( or around those numbers). In order to get a better signal they advised me to install a pole to put the antenna on rather than my house. So I did, payed people to dig a hole and put a giant telephone pole into the ground outside my house. So at this point ive purchased and done everything possible to achieve the best internet I can.... So why the heck is my download speed constantly fluctuating between 100kbs and tops out at 1.86 Mbs? I call them to ask what the issue is and their only response is to reset the router every time. Even after resetting nothing changes with my internet speed. I bring it to their attention and ask if Im not getting the speed promised to me or at the very least close to it can I change packages? Their response was if I downgraded internet packages that it would become even slower. So Im not receiving what I pay for and their isnt any solution they can give me to actually get the speed advertised by the deal even after splurging the money for a god dang telephone pole to be put in which they recommended. They are lucky that as of right now no other internet service will service in this location because otherwise I would have tossed pinnacle away after the first couple months. Almost makes me wanna move back to my apartment just because of this pathetic excuse for internet. I strongly advise anyone to look for any other possible internet company because you will not get what you pay for from here. Im not being petty or irrational. The fact is I pay for a faster service than what Im receiving and have done everything advised by this company, even changing routers 4 times and redoing the line from the pole to my house twice. Worst thing is, when they have sent people out here to check on it they say I have a perfect connection and shouldnt have any issues with it, but here I am writing this review not even hooked up to wifi on my phone because pages load faster on LTE than wifi. Would give half a star but sadly thats not a option.Edit: just tested my speed twice using their own speed detector and saved the pictures... wish I could post them to give an example but heres what I gotback.First time: 2.9 mbs, .5 uploadSecond time: 2.7mbs, .8 uploadAnd the thing is I know for a fact I do not actually get that fast of download because I can check the computer or consol for download speed and it says 864kbs.....
The guy who came out was very opinionated. I simply allowed him to fix our wifi and noted his complaints as he uttered them. He advised multiple times that we move and complained about having to come out to our home on a Friday afternoon before Labor Day weekend. He even said that we owed him a whiskey or something and said that coming out to our street to help us and our neighbors is the worst.Its really not my problem if he doesnt like his job or enjoy the location of our home. He doesnt have to live here. And from now on, please do us all a favor and send someone else. Im sure he would be okay with the arrangement as well.
Had internet for less than a week and it has already dropped out. Now no one will answer the phone. Dont waste your time or money.
Good experience every time Ive spoken with the people. However the internet speeds are extremely sad for the price. And the internet is spotty at best it goes extremely slow during normal using times. From 4-10 Its constantly buffering videos even when tv is the only thing on the internet

I have had service with Pinnacle first quite some time and Im very satisfied with their service very very professional people to deal with I have had one problem with my system the whole time Ive had it and they were immediately on it very very prompt and I was only down for a matter a minutes before it was addressed and fixed
