Very helpful, but could use some fine tuning on the customer service side. Not that anyone was rude, just some miscommunication. Overall were happy with the work weve had done.

Me and my husband were on the way to Colorado from Mississippi and he noticed his spring on his front suspension was coming out. Mac got us in and fixed it within an hour! They were great! They have one of the nicest shops me and my husband have ever seen! Very reasonable price and explained everything he did very well!

A very nice shop with a comfortable waiting area and pleasant staff. A quoted 45 minute alignment took about 2 hours with the price being a tad steep at $100 with other shops around town. But they were thorough and provided a printout of the work specs before and after. Complementary coffee and water in the waiting area with wide flat panels to pass the time. The car drives much better from the work done though. A few people were in and out at the same time. Overall, a pretty good shop if you have the spare cash and time to wait. 4 🌟

I had been having problems with brake light on drivers side going out. From December until today, Jan 29th, it has blown three times! I decided there was a wiring problem in the car. Took it to Mr. Mac and within FIVE.MINUTES they found the bulbs had been incorrectly installed. Fixed the problem and NO CHARGE!! Best folks ever!

I always say that finding an honest doctor is as hard as finding an honest mecanic. I had the same 2 vehicles for almost 10 years, I immediately stopped taking them to the car mechanics because they always charged me over $100 just to see if they find the problems and they take weeks to get started on my vehicle, so I spend my early driving years with check engine lights on, no A/C, vehicles squeeking from all places. After moving to Wichita Falls it caught my eye all the positive reviews and decided to test them out, best decision I ever made. They do great job on repairing any issue with your vehicle and they wont break your bank account.

The staff were very friendly, professional, and efficient. They got me in and out the door, with a new battery and problem solved, in less than an hour. After I left, I double checked and the amount I was charged and found it was very competitive and fair. I took my car to Mr Macs a while back and they quoted me a price for a job then tried to charge me a much higher price. They finally agreed to take the original price but not until the young manager was very rude and disrespectful then the owner finally stepped in. My car has had issues ever since I took it there. I wish I had NEVER GONE THERE!!!

My family and I have had nothing but excellent service through Mr. Macs. I always go to them first to see if this is something they take care of before looking elsewhere since I have an Acura and have never been disappointed. Great customer service and always feel like I am taken care of. Before each job they tell me what its roughly going to cost and a breakdown. Recently I thought I was going to have to replace my break pads because of the sound I was hearing, and called ahead of time got me in first thing today.

Took good care of us, and our vehicle. They kept us informed every step of the way, and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Took the time to answer all our questions and insure we were getting what we wanted. Well worth the money which was less than I expected to pay, and a much better price than other places Ive had dealings with. Highly recommend this place.

I am an aircraft mechanic and vintage spots car enthusiast. I don’t trust just anyone with my daily driver a 2014 535D. Even though BMW claims the transmission never needs servicing the manufacture of the transmission suggests service between 80,00 and 100,000 miles. Mr. Mac’s technicians took the time to find directions from the manufacturer to fully service my transmission. There shop is as clean and organized as there photos claim and they take the time to do the job correctly. I would trust them with any one of my autos. If they say they can do it, then they can. On a side note .... a wonderful family owned business... great people, great work 👍

Honestly, I was a little skeptical with the amount of positive reviews. After my experience I now see why. I needed to replace the transmission in my daughters Hummer and debated on swapping it myself. Needed it back on the road ASAP so I called around. Like others stated the owner Nick called me personally within the hour with the quote. (by the way beat everyone else in town substantially). Every interaction with this business throughout the process exceeded my expectations. Their shop is impressive, latest in equip from Hunter Engineering. Every staff member I spoke to was polite and truly seemed happy. They could not have made a happier customer, especially one that almost refuses to let anyone work on their stuff. I will recommend Mr. Mac’s every chance I get!!!

My discovery of Mr. Macs was purely luck. Rolling through town from DFW to Colorado with a trailer full of furniture and appliances our truck started to struggle and eventually we received the dreaded blinking check engine light. Googled auto repair while still driving and Mr. Macs came up. We got a malfunction indicate light warning during our vacation from Houston to Colorado. It was happened first day (Monday afternoon) at Wichita falls. First of all, we have visited at the Dealer shop however their answer is to wait until Wednesday. We couldnt spend our time 2days there. Then, we reached out to ask Mr.Macs to check it. The mechanics was very kind and they were trying to fix it. As the result of their huge effort, we founded the cause and fixed. Finally, we could continue to enjoy our vacation. We truly appreciate their help!

Our ac broke on a 100 degree day, passing through on a road trip. Our dog was about to have heat stroke. They got us in. They let our dog stay cool inside with us and gave us all water! It was amazing!!! Thanks Mr. Macs!

They fixed the problem that my car had. They are extremely professional and kind. They are very effective. I dropped it off and drove off with it fixed in 3 days. Also other places were quoting me $350-$400 to fix it and Mr. Macs charged $75. Very satisfied with their services and staff. I would highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.

I know Being a mother to 4 children, 2 of them in Jr high sports, 1 in elementary, and 1 infant, car trouble is one thing I fear the most! I took my car into Mr. Macs shop and spoke with Nic. I handed him my keys and said I dont care what it cost please just fix it! He was very eager to help me. Not only did he explain everything in detail about what they had to fix and what happens when the particular part is not working... he understood I could not be car less for long considering that we are always on the go. When I got back to pick up my car... the owner came out and spoke with me... very friendly and let me know they went over everything to make sure I was good to go! I expected when I got there to pick up my car I probably wouldnt be leaving without paying 1,000 + dollars... I was wrong! Half the price of what other people quoted! The best decision Ive ever made in regard to the care of my car was taking it to Mr. Macs.I drive a Mercedes E350 and between Pattersons wanting to charge me far too much and every other mechanic running from working on my car as though it carried a plague, I had very little choice but to overpay Pattersons.That was until a friend recommended I go to Mr. Macs. They do incredible work, stand behind that work, and are always truthful to the point of being blunt. If you want to know what is wrong with your car, truck, SUV, junker, or luxury car then this is the place to take it for diagnosis and repair.The last time I took my car in to be checked out at Pattersons for an issue of my engine missing, Pattersons told me that my problem was my coils. I then took my car to Mr. Macs and they discovered the source of my problem was the spark plugs. Mr. Macs changed the spark plugs in my car and it now runs 100% better. On top of that, they saved me $220.00!They are just the very best!

They will not communicate with you they charged double of anybody else and when they say its fixed watch it its not fixed total rip-off place okay update took the car to someplace else the clutch they said they put in was not put in the other place fixed it my dad took a bucket of parts back to mr macks and got his money back returning the parts they did not replace I was asked to remove this but they drugged us on for over a month I cannot remove this with good conscience

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Called this morning and set up appointment. Spoke to Nic McAdin. Advised him that I just wanted front brakes ONLY. Sent my wife in and they immediately started the fear mongering, upscale tactics. They lied to my wife and told her that the rotors were bad. They were not. Car had 80k miles. Rotors were fine. Out of fear, she paid an additional $150 for something not needed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

Had an issue with my A/C in my car where the air was blowing warm and went here to get it checked out. They charged me $60 just to get it looked at which should have been the first red flag for me. After they looked at it they were trying to charge me $700 to take out the dash and fix the issue. Afterwards took my car to another automotive place near denton. That place didn’t charge me to look at the vehicle and find what the problem was and then found that it was just a leak and they needed to replace the tube for the air conditioning system. Cost me only $300 and they didn’t need to tear out my dash. Only reason I am giving this place two stars is because they did a decent job with the oil change.

Took my rav4 in to have computer diagnostic done because of hesitation at start up. Told needed fuel pump. They replaced and could not get car to start after that. Two and a half months later, and after they tried what they said was everything they could think of they told me motor was gone, low compression. Tried to get me to buy and pay them to put in another motor. I got two truck to take to another shop. New shop put a new good fuel pump on and runs perfect. These guys not only showed they are not good mechanics by not figuring out it was a bad fuel pump, but then lied and told me motor was bad, and tried to profit from it. Oil change is probably what they should keep too. Small town to be trying to do this to people.

Took project car in for minor electrical work.. Techs did a good job but the guys inside were rather stubborn and never communicated with me through the process. When asked to clarify it was obvious they had no idea what they were talking about. Not one word about what work was done. Even my receipt was blank.. $300 later and Ive learned absolutely nothing. Glad I didnt spend 4k to do suspension with them. Spend your money elsewhere.

They clearly seem to make there money off of oil changes. My husband took his truck in to get his breaks fixed awhile ago and for some reason they put a wood block on the bumper and screwed it into the bumper they didnt ask if we were ok with this. We also went to another local mechanics and had a much better time. Im disappointed since mr. Mac came as a recommendation from Facebook but I personally would not recommend them.

Our air conditioner went out during a trip to Southeast Texas and Mr Mac was able to take my truck right in, fix the air conditioning, and get us back on our way within 1 hour. I was expecting a $300 repair bill but it was only $90. I would definitely suggest using Mr Mac anytime you have a problem that you need fixed on your vehicle

Very impressed with this shop, its staff, and its management. I brought my wifes car in thinking it had a very expensive problem. They troubleshot it and determined it was something completely different, and a lot cheaper. Very clean place, very professional, and they just earn themselves a lot of future business from us.

This place really impressed me. I took a vehicle to them for a friend. There was a miscommunication about what time the fix would be done. These people are awesome! Heater wasnt working and they tried everything to fix it without tearing into my truck. Didnt work, replaced my heater core in one day and stayed at what I had to spend. Came here for a second opinion on our truck that was misfiring. The previous shop just said “welp, probably want to replace the engine” after it failed a compression test and that was that, didn’t even want to bother pricing a repair or even calling us back with the price on a replacement like they said they would.Nic was able to do a proper diagnosis and help us get a handle on all of our options with competitive prices. Would have been about $2k to replace the failed piston ring (which, again, the previous shop didn’t even bother to fully diagnose) and $3k-5k to replace with different engines of various mileages. We ended up not going with the engine replacement or repair they had priced for us, and just traded it as Nic recommended we look into. I’ll definitely be coming back any time we have an issue with my car, they were able to make a terrible situation understandable and workable.
