This company bought out our retiring tax preparer who was excellent. We decided to give them a try. Big mistake. We are very organized and have all our paperwork in order. In their haste they forgot to copy an important piece of paperwork for the IRS resulting in an almost $2,000 difference in refund. Upon receiving paperwork from IRS saying our paperwork was missing I informed them. They tried to say it was our fault and wanted us to pay them to fix the mistake. Finally, after I proved it was them and not us who made the mistake they agreed to attempt to fix. Once again, their mistake resulted in us not being able to make a contribution to our financial planner resulting in us getting a smaller refund. We still not received our refund from early March.

I had a tax preparer for 2018 that was very bad so I was looking for a new tax preparer for 2019. I was referred to Walker tax and bookkeeping from a social media post and right away I was impressed. After my first contact with them, their response was very quick and professional. I decided to let them do my taxes and they finished it within a few days. All the questions I asked, they answered quickly and respectfully. Even after my taxes were finished, they answered my other questions that came up later with no hesitation. I recommend Walker Tax and Bookkeeping for tax preparation and will definitely go back to them next year.
