We visited the store to shop for pole pruners. Jordan approached us and offered assistance right away. Her courteous and friendly demeanor was greatly appreciated and she helped us find exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be shopping here again!

Excellent service. There are many people there who are happy to help. For big items they will load it into your car for you. Its nice to support your local hardware store.

Went in for a D.O.T. lightbar for our service van. Ive always picked up Whelen lights from the rogers location. This location had nothing for a professional. Other then that its a nice store with nice people.

The website kept giving me different totals at checkout I payed alot more then I thought while putting things in my cart even with discounts ... My order also kept not working so I hard to start all over many times..... I really wanted the products I got otherwise would have gone with an easier site ...

Amazing service, needed parts to fix axle on trailer, found they had an axle that fit my trailer. Most prices are very reasonable. Salesmen very knowledgeable of everything I asked. A mans dream store, worth stopping in occasionally just to see what is new.

Underwhelmed at Northern Tool.Id recently purchased a Stihl battery powered Weed Whipper and Leaf Blower from Century Outdoor Power Equipment in Stillwater and now wanted to buy a matching Stihl battery powered lawn mower. Unfortunately Century was out of stock on them, so I called Northern Tools was told yes they had Stihl mowers in stock. I couldnt find any help when I came in but did find the mower displayed on the floor. After finally going up front asking for assistance someone eventually came to help. I asked if they had a new one in a box I could buy but was told this dusty floor model was the only one in the store and that Stihl apparently required all their tools to be unboxed before selling. (As Id just purchased my other brand new Stihl tools from Century sealed in boxes this info seemed questionable.) The floor model looked a bit scratched up and far from shiny brand new, but oh well it is after all a lawn mower so I said OK Id buy it. However bringing it up to the counter I noticed another same model Stihl lawn mower on display in the front of store, looking newer and less scratched up. Pointing this out the manager offered to take fully $19 off my $419 purchase on the dinged-up floor model. At this point I just wanted to get on with my day so paid and left. From the less than forthright service however, I did wonder if there were indeed several more new mowers in boxes in the back room. Not inclined to be a repeat customer at Northern Tool.

Love this place. Today though my cousin got a flat I the parking lot and I went to help. She had no 4 way lug wrench. So I went into Northern and bought a lug wrench and wow 1 was on sale. So grabbed it. Well you all know the rest of the story.. Was not on sale.. Should of went to Menards....

I bought a $6 8-in-1 screwdriver there under a month ago. The ball that holds the shaft in place broke on it. Of course I didnt keep my receipt, but figured theyd most likely exchange it for me. Nope! Thats a bit underwhelming.

Northern tool is a great place to have around they have a lot of tools for a lot of different trades. Their pressure washer selection is the best around. I wish they would add a hardware section.

I think the people who work there are so helpful. The repair area is affordable. I bought a lawnmower a few years ago and it was repaired under warranty. And they had all my records, I have misplaced them. I will buy from them again.

Helpful staff... lots of trailer related items, replacement small engines for a wide variety of needs. Lots of other items and great selection of utility trailers.

Great workers.They know what you want and can find it quickly in their store.

Now my favorite place to shop for tools. Plus their Gravel Gear clothing line is as high quality as Ive seen for the construction industry.

First of all its hard to find sidewalk de-icer salt anywhere, call this place and a gentleman picked up the phone and went to check for what I asked for and said they have 2 50 pound left. Then upon arrival the 2 bag of de-icer is there bought the last 2 bag at a decent low price. Glad this place have what I needed and there customer service is outstanding comparing to ace hardware at roseville.

I stopped into this new location today looking for some trailer lights that they showed to be instock at this location on the website. I was greeted at the door, I felt like they wanted to help me. I was taken to the spot where the trailer lights were and grabbed exactly what I wanted. When I went to check out I wanted to use an older gift certificate (no expiration date ) the clerk wanted to help but needed to get his manager. Herb (Mgr) took over, made a phone call and honored my gift certificate.The staff was younger, high school I would guess, but they all seemed happy to do their jobs, not the typical feel that some younger crews present.I would use this Northern again in a heartbeat, gift certificate or not!!

Had a broken pressure washer that I bought form this store. Did not have my records with me but the assistant looked it up off my work number.
