Ill go a couple more times and probably update to 5 stars. This is my home club where I signed up. The person I met there during my very first sign up was a total sweetheart. Upon my most recent visit, staff wasnt all that friendly like the other locations I go to. Maybe an off day, or 8 am is just no fun for anyone! I still enjoyed the workout and Black Card amenities, and learned a bit about the slightly older equipment (Ive been frequenting newer clubs it turns out), which had its benefits over the newer stuff. Nice location and club.

Ive visited a few PF locations but this one is closest to home. I do love the crowd meter in the app, you can even view other locations meters. Im sure the staff are very friendly but I appreciate that I can scan in with the app and just get to work. I normally go for the 30 minute circuit and/or the elliptical machines. They have multiple cleaning stations and I do see the staff cleaning as well. If you go for the black card, the massage beds are so good. With or without a workout. I havent gone tanning because I burn too easily and I dont want to risk it, but Ive heard good things.The only down side is the written cancelation bit, but it really isnt that hard to send a letter if you cant get there in person.

Showers are a little small and theres nowhere to put your soap besides the tile floors but in general its a good place to workout. Friendly staff too.

Love the atmosphere. The members and coaches are great. I just can’t get enough of Planet Fitness.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I love going to this Planet Fitness. There is slight room for improvement. Some of the bikes are getting rickety, and some of the machines could use better cleaning in crevices. But overall, Im happy with the White Bear facility.

Did not go to the location due to covid. But I talked with a educated young lady who was knowledgeable on everything Maplewoods Planet Fitness has to offer.

Convenient location and friendly staff. But equipment needs to be updated. I thought we paid a $40 annual fee for them to update and maintain equipment? Stair-master steps are broken. The lifting/free weight area isn’t big enough. Definitely could use a larger space for how busy it is.

Location cannot fix problems and corporation office does not care. Waiting a week for billing problem to be fixed or just call me. Black card plus has flaws in it application . Nothing is being done. Manager has no control on matters. Why upper management can not return phone calls is so unprofessional. Very disappointed. Update: Kate was given the go ahead to fix my black card issue.

This one was great. Lots of space for the weights and machines. Very well lit and every machine was like new.

I liked it here, great workout, price cant be beat but gym doesnt suffer for it, and when I needed to cancel there were no issues.

Overall great place for the low price. Cleaned often. Free training sessions offered. Free WiFi & app sessions. May be too bright but, helps me wake up. Like to watch my shows on tv or stream while working out. Friendly staff

Planet is a high class full service fitness center.

The staff is really rude. They never greet me when I arrive or leave when I see them greet almost every other patron. I don’t come too often but it really makes me feel unwelcome and like I should quit and go somewhere else

The staff is the best part of this place. I have been a member since Day 1 and the desk staff is always friendly and nice and greet you. Cleaning is on point again, it did lag a bit in the past, but now, right back up to top notch standards. That is why I left Experience Fitness, the place was gross. Good selection of equipment and they do listen when there are concerns. The bonus is the hydro-massage units. I would recommend it.Side note, Alli is the best they have had at the front desk. Super personality.

I’m very glad I did the endurance program through fitness focus! The program helped me gain strength and confidence as an athlete.

Through their website and app I start a new membership, I can upgrade my membership, I can sign up for classes. But, even after I moved away from the area, in order to cancel, I have to either drive back or send a letter via USPS. I can not even call over the phone to a very unhelpful employee citing policy. What kind of outdated intentionally inconvenient nonsense.

WARNING: They do not make cancelling very easy. In the digital age the require you to come into the location and cancel in person or MAIL in a cancellation. Second warning do not MAIL a cancellation, the last time I did that the gym I was at claimed they never received it and charged me multiple months before I noticed. And you guessed it, they did not refund my money. They staff at the WBL PL were great but company policy is dated and annoying I will not be returning until a customer can cancel online.

I really love white bear planet fitness. I have been swiches between 3 different PF. White bear by far is the cleanest and most professional. I have witnessed staff walking around cleaning with a backpack of disinfectant spraying down equipment to even wiping the little toggle hooks. Every time I have gone to that location they have been great. Good clientele, every age and size at this location.Blaine location is newer, super young unprofessional staff. I have never witnessed any cleaning. It snowed and i asked if anyone shovels the walk into the place? The girl blames the night crew, claims she salted it and was waiting for it to melt and then she was going to shovel it. Weeks later its still a icy mess to get into the place. Very comfortable with the clientele.Roseville location is huge and very busy. Super helpful and nice staff. I dont recall see staff clean. But the place is so big and busy i might of missed it. This place has a younger clientele.

I like the staff ( Katie is very helpful and knowledgeable ) and the equipment. The locker room is clean and kept up. The gym is in good repair, clean and kept up. I would like to see less news, opinion type TV and more fact based TV such as the history channel, movies and non-opinion programs. The cooking and home repair channels are good escapes, pleasant. I also hope being open 24 hrs. will come back.

*After receiving a reply, I made the following revisions to make my review more clear.*There is absolutely no mask enforcement. The policy is to wear a mask unless youre actively working out. Im looking at a lot of people actively scrolling on their phones, not actually lifting, not wearing a mask. Most people dont have a mask anywhere to be seen, freely floating around between exercise machines without wearing any kind of mask while not actively working out. I have observed people no wearing masks upon entry or exit. I have also observed a staff member not wearing a mask.According to the health policy on their website, they are supposed to constantly have employees doing 20 minute walk throughs, sanitizing high touch surfaces, cleaning fitness equipment. That isnt taking place. My average visit is about an hour, at random times during the morning and early afternoon hours, Ive never seen any employee wiping down or sanitizing any equipment (the highest touch surfaces).I understand what the policies are, Im saying that theyre not being followed.

8/31/21So Wells Fargo fraud investigations finished a 10 day look into P.F. practices an credited my account a good amount back! So far, so good! The black card membership (2020) is a good deal and a great thing to get if your schools fitness center is closed for quarantine. Though it couldve used things like cleans and more free weights and benches. But I know its not that kind of gym.

It’s the club manager (Kayla) that makes it a 1 Star for me, the rest of the staff is awesome. The billing system is pretty wonky too.Every planet fitness I’ve been to has a club manager that is just downright unpleasant. Kayla seems cold and on edge. If planet fitness could just figure out how to hire managers with people skills, and fix the billing system. I would change the rating to 5 stars.The person who runs the place is the main image. And it’s hurting with a manger like Kayla.

Very clean. I see employees are always wiping stuff down and they have lots of cleaning stations to wipe off machines. This is very much appreciated with COVID going on. I also like that they have machines closed down to help people social distance. I feel very comfortable coming here.

Great place to workout and have always been really good about keeping the place very clean and sanitary well before Covid even came around.

Ill be brutally honest, the gym itself is fine. But in regards to calling as a concern customer about being charged what I already had cancelled back in March (before covid got serious), the call lasted less than 10mins due to poor professionalism of the manager. Her tone was unpleasant, rude and had poor listening skills. I would not recommend getting entangled with PF as their billing system is garbage and when you tell them youre cancelling, theyre still charging you. I will be calling back and checking to see that I get my refund as PF failed to cancel per customer request.

My only complaint is that the equipment is somewhat limited.

I went there a week ago with my wife as her guest who joined a few days before. I was surprised at how much fun it was to work out in that kind of environment. Its a no judgement atmosphere and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful and its just a short drive from home. Ive since joined myself and I love this place, and will highly recommend it to anyone else.

Its a very inclusive gym and really a judgement free zone. Only 2 things worth mentioning. 1. I did get pink eye from using a treadmill so make sure you sanitize before and after you use a machine. 2. I wish they had classes.But they have VERY nice tanning beds and amenities. The staff is helpful and friendly. The other gym-goers are friendly and welcoming.

Great place until you run into problems with your act. Staff was incompetent and rude when trying to resolve billing issues. Wouldn’t recommend this location.

The facility is nice and quiet. Everybody keeps to themselves and is respectful. The locker rooms are clean and well maintained. The gym floor is also clean and well maintained. Machines are always in good working order. Staff is friendly and helpful. The costs of the memberships are very affordable.

I’ve been coming to this location since last August and I’ve been to many other locations. It’s always got people working on themselves and staff that’s friendly, hands down Jacque is the nicest Planet Fitness employee. Every day whether coming or going he greets and says goodbye with a wave and a smile. Worth checking out my friends.

This gym has become my second home. Staff are so friendly and they work hard to make sure that the judgment free moto is actually in place. I enjoy working out here each day. They keep things clean and maintained.

Terrible customer service. I had called a month prior to my annual fee being taken out and I was told that I just had to come in and cancel my membership prior to my next billing cycle which was in the middle of the month. The annual fee was taken out and I went to cancel within 7 days of this being taken out and I was told by the manager that it was my fault because I should have known that it was in my contract that I needed to cancel by the 25th of the previous month. I was then told that there were no notes written on my account so he didnt even know if I actually called in an spoke to someone because I didnt know that name of the person who told me the information. The would not give me a refund of the annual fee when I clearly hadnt used the gym from the time the fee was taken out to the time time I cancelled (again 7 days), so planet fitness I hope you enjoy my $40 donation to you for a service I will never use again due to the extremely poor customer service.

This is a basic gym. No classes, or daycare, but with the Black Club Membership you get unlimited tanning, and use of an Aqua Massage Bed, as well as massage chairs. I dropped my YMCA membership after my children were able to stay home alone. AND am additional advantage is I can bring a friend EVERY time I come for FREE!!

Do NOT FALL for this scam!!! Please read all before you head here...Planet fitness is a huge scam franchise,stay away from this gym because:1. You will sign a contract with fine print that will lure you in paying $10/month “cancel whenever you want!”2. First thing you will see on your bank account the next month is $50 charge that you won’t be told about for “membership fee”.3. When you decide to cancel they will not do it for you on the phone or online but you have to mail them a paper like we’re not in 2018 which is very old and hard way to communicate and definitely used in purpose to make it hard for you to cancel them from charging you.4. You will have to pay them for a whole year or they will send your due balance to collections and destroy your credit record.5. The “manager” is very hard to communicate with, definitely no empathy or explanation and willing to hang up on your face!!!6. No free bench, small area for workout. Maximum dumbbell weight is 75 lbs.I am an experienced customer service and sales manager and I definitely would encourage you to NOT sign up or pay them a penny!.

I ended up transferring to this location because of how clean and well maintained it is. The staff are awesome. Catie and Jacque are always there with smiles on their faces and answer all of my questions.

I do not go during busy hours of the day. So I usually dont have any issues with excessive amount of people. I like this place and the 24-hour service offered. I enjoy the atmosphere and the price is right for one person. I chose their Black Card membership as it is still 1/5 of what I paid at another place that offered nothing that I really liked and I like this place even more as I am not being pushed to BUY BUY BUY more service at all visits. I dont use the tanning equipments but they are there. The hydromassager and the chair massagers make it worth the money of less than $25 per month (includes tax). I also travel often and being able to visit other locations in the US really helps me too.After 1 year:I still like this place. After being there a year, this location is still my favorite as it offers more space than some of the other locations I have visited. I was not aware of feeling cramped at smaller locations until I visited them a few times, so the ample space is much more appreciated at my home club.

Canceling is such a horrible experience here. Being charged after I canceled in person and dealing with the manager with the refund process was the worst... There was no good customer service to me when calling PF due to me getting charged again. Its disappointing and makes me not want to join PF anymore.

I really enjoy working out here. I was very nervous at first as Im not a big gym person, but I met with Jacob and he was helpful and fantastic. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The club is always clean and well kept. I have the black card which allows me to not only use all the equipment, but also the tanning beds, hydro massage, and body enhancement bed. So many great perks for a low price. I would recommend this gym!!

This gym is clean. Even with all the snow and slush being dragged in from the parking lot they keep the floor and locker room clean. The free weight selection is limited but unless you are really going for heavy weights you can get a good workout in with a little creativity.

Good prices and I like the massage beds but how do you have a gym with no bench or squat racks? Those are core lifts you need to have.

Overall it is a great gym, I signed up online, went in was given my shirt and my card, asked for a tour and was taken on one without any issues. So far so good. The machine are nice, I havent noticed anything out of order. I wipe my machines down before and after I use them. I love that it isnt really crowded.

Mikaila is the best personal trainer Ive worked with. We have fun and I dont even notice were working out! (Cause I have a hard time staying motivated).

I have been a member at this location for a full 2 years now. I have always had a pleasant experience coming here. Its always clean, staff are always friendly, and theyve recently added some new equipment in the stretching area. Its been a lot busier in recent months (probably due to new years resolutions), but mornings before 7am during the week and weekends before 8am are never crowded. I only wish the personal trainers were paid adequately so that they wouldnt leave so frequently. I never feel judged when I come in for my workout, and enjoy the added perks the black card membership provides (hydromassage, total body enhancement, tanning beds, massage chairs, and discounted cooler drinks). You most definitely get your moneys worth here!

I stopped by to go tanning after work and there was no one behind the counter. I went to the back are and saw an employee sitting on the couch with what looked to be her boyfriend . I said I would like to go tanning, she said that she was on a break for the next 10 minutes, I asked her if someone else was there she said that there wasnt. I quickly realized the, boyfriend was very important at that moment. I dont know what working there is like but she was about 15 feet away from the buttons that make the tanning beds work and it would take a grand total of 10 seconds to turn it on. I think if youre going to have an employee like that you should have another one there to cover for her.

Big facility. Friendly staff. No meat heads. Have plenty of cardio machine and a good variety of strength.

Every time I come here the place is spotless, there are plenty of available machines and best of all, the staff is incredible friendly and helpful. They are the best gym I’ve been to- and I’ve been to plenty.

Great place for the gym-averse. Ive never felt uncomfortable coming here, as someone who is in spherical shape. Good amount of cardio equipment. Maybe it lacks the bells and whistles and some weight training equipment that other gyms have, but that isnt Planet Fitnesss target market.

Today was my first day at the gym. Have been going to la fitness for 2 years, need a 24 hour gym since my work schedule is going to be changing soon. So far so good, way more machine than la fitness. I like the hydro massage. The lockers could be bigger . I have to turn my gym bag side ways cause it doesnt fit straight, which isnt a big problem.

This is one of the best gyms I have EVER been to! The night guy, Kyle, was extremely helpful. It was my first time there and he explained how everything worked. Ive never had better customer service and the place was kept up very well! I cant wait to go back!!

Nice gym that is clean and very spacious. I think its newer than others that I have been to so I like that the equipment is updated and functioning (trust me they break down more often you think at other gyms). Obviously their concept of judgement free zone was appealing to me as other places can be very intimidating for novice users. This location specifically is great to attend and the employees are friendly!

Im surprised to see this place has a lower rating than most PFs Ive been to, and Ive been to tons all over the US. The employees here are far more interactive and attentive to their costumers, which is what I look for in a place like this. Very nice staff. One of the trainers even offered to go to the store next door for me since they ran out of towels. The machines and equipment are more spaced out than what Im used to its nice to have a large area to workout. 10/10

Lots of machines so even if theres a crowd, equipment like a stationary bike, treadmill, stair stepper or some other apparatus is available. VERY CLEAN and well maintained. Would give 5 stars if they had a swimming pool and running track.

Great friendly staff. All kinds...shapes of people working out. You feel normal and no judgments happen here. GUYs... not a lot of cute women working out here, very few unfortunately.
