Midtown Athletic Club is amazing!! The place is sparkling clean has an amazing selection of training equipment and the best instructors. If you want to tone up or get ripped, this is the place to do it in style. The spin studio is fantastic and the instructor Donna is so energetic she gets the most out of you! Love Midtown!!

Awesome club located in the heart of Weston, with lots of tennis courts with different surfaces, a very well equipped gym, yoga, spinning, dance, swimming classes etc. Its also a great place to meet new people.

Overpriced, subpar customer service, atrociously maintained tennis courts, a nuisance to the surrounding community. Most of the facilities are nice but tennis courts are all show. I play on public courts better maintained than the ones here all the time at a fraction of the price or for free. Multiple people I play with, including myself, have often complained about this issue to no avail. Midtown has no regard for its neighbors (or its tennis members for that matter) and regularly blasts music at absurd levels and inappropriate times. This is quite annoying when trying to play tennis (a sport like golf where silence is greatly appreciated) at the club but even more so when it’s 7am and I can hear and feel my room shaking from across the lake. Weston is a nice quiet city, this isn’t Spinal Tap, there’s no need to “turn it up to 11.”

Gustavo at the Spa is a great stylist. He is an authentic artist. I am sure he will achieve success in the near future. He is really a nice person and with great manners. He makes you to look beautiful!

The quality of the classes, the cleaning (specially in this times of pandemic), the customer service, the tennis courts, all of that my family and I enjoy every time we go. Honestly, I am a person who do not consider myself as a sporty, but the club environment invites me to go and enjoy doing sport with my family. In the past I was subscribed in a cheaper membership club, and I barely assisted.I feel very secure at Midtown with all the precautions they have with the sanitation.

Midtown is taking the pandemic incredibly seriously. The club is always very clean, the front desk does temperature checks, and a lot of the workouts are held outdoors in open air. The gym equipment is pretty new and well maintained. Face coverings are enforced and there are blue linings on the floor around equipment to encourage social distancing. The club also invested in machines that have been installed near the ceilings on each floor that disinfect the air. I did my research before joining this club since were in the middle of a pandemic and I want to make sure that I am doing my best to stay safe. This club pretty much checked all the boxes in that regard with their constant cleaning, temperature checks, face covering requirements and outdoor classes. My only feedback for the club is to host additional outdoor classes after 6pm especially now as the temperature drops.

Midtown has always been a very clean gym, but even more so now with covid. They’ve expanded their classes outdoors, giving members many ways to maintain appropriate social distancing while still staying active. Every member of the staff is helpful and friendly.

Staff needs to work on customer service. How is it possible to have been visiting the facilities weekly, now for over 3-4 months. Usually, temperature check, drop off daughter with teacher and done. One hour later pick up with the same procedure, today after the second temperature check and informed the associate that I was picking up my daughter, as usual Ill go wait pass the two umbrellas and wait. This time around, I was told that if I was not a member (odd as they will take your money for classes) and that I couldnt wait there and needed to be at the entrance, cluttering up the temperature station and increasing the risk to everyone around. Not to mention that I was told that I needed to sign a document to be there. Sorry, but no thank you, especially with the same pen that everyone has used.

Midtown is one of the best tennis clubs in the world. I have been an active member for over 20 years. They have managed the reopening impeccably. I am thankful to be enjoying the club again.

High quality health and fitness club with numerous activities and facilities available to members. Very open feeling, extremely clean with lots of precautionary measures for the current Covid situation. Staff and clientele very sensitive to social distancing and all appropriate precautionary measures. Really a club that offers most anything a member could want - even an onsite massage therapist and salon.Great youth programs and a sitting service for parents with kids.Its certainly not the least expensive club but really offers a lot, particularly the amount of classes and activities available and the quality of the facility itself.

I want to say as someone whos very COVID-19 conscious, I really appreciate the measures the club is taking. I have joined for the purposes of learning tennis and using the pool. I want to thank management and all the staff for their professionalism and putting safety first. Coming to the Spa at Midtown is an amazing treat for me.. I have coming now for a couple of years and the staff is very friendly & helpful... you are treated with warmth and very welcoming. They have a beautiful place: very clean with nice sitting area which offers coffee, tea, and fresh water. My hair stylist, Angela, is absolutely amazing. She has been my stylist for over 10 years and due to distance I went to another stylist a couple of times, but keep coming back to her (Spa is about 25-30 min from me)..I trust her skills very much; she colors and cuts my hair; highly recommend her. Angela’s skills for coverage coloring and highlighting are excellent! Can’t praise her or the Spa enough.. Thank you for offering a wonderful place..

Great place to play tennis or get a workout in. I am a beginner and the instructors, including Ismael and Mike, and the staff from Maria to Anthony, are all great and keep me coming back often to practice and play this new sport. The gym is also clean and reorganized for safety during the Covid pandemic.

This club is exceptional in both facilities and supporting personnel. Tennis facilities are first rate.

It is relatively cheap here for what you are getting. Ive only been here for a free day with a friend before. The classes are all great and the instructors are all trained very well. The facilities are very nice and they have anything you could ask for. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Nice gym!

Gustavo at the Spa is excellent in everything he does. I been treating my hair with him since a year ago and I highly recommend his services. He also did a Ybera treatment on my daughters hair and it was awesome. He took the right time and dedication to finish an amazing job. The pictures are short compare to how good her hair looks. So smooth, hydrated and shiny. Won’t regret trying it!!!

Midtown Weston is a gym filled with the most incredible community of both people and trainers. Personal trainer, Loryn Huff, has always gone out of her way to go above and beyond to help members achieve both their physical and health goals. Her 312 and Strength Fusion classes are so fun, filled with energy, and leave me sore for days. Spinning with Sabrina is also so fun, yet challenging at the same time. Her classes make me feel like Im at a party! Mike Ricks, former NFL player, is always looking for innovative ways to push his clients to their limits. All of the trainers at Midtown are so kind, insightful, and willing to help in any way possible.

My experiences with Midtown have been exceptional. Chase, my personal trainer, is very knowledgeable and professional. The sessions are challenging, flawlessly planned and always considering my personal goals. He has guided and encourage me in my journey and I have already seen amazing results. Highly recommend the sessions.

Nice facility, but, unlike other gyms in south Florida, there is zero common sense from staff and management in enforcing the mask and social distancing policy.

I’ve been a member for almost 10 years. I am very familiar with the club. This is the best fitness club in Broward County. By far! It has everything you could want (except racquetball) and more. That being said you can do most of this for half the price but you get what you pay for. The service, the luxury, the ambiance is unrivaled here. This club isn’t cheap but it gets me to the gym 4+ times a week. For as long as I live in the area I will remain a member.

As a long-standing member of 20+ years and using the club as much as possible I want to express how happy I am with Gustavo, Jonathan and Candice from Midtown Weston Spa. All of them are true professionals and worth mentioning.Jonathan is the best in the area with many years of noted experience. He is a true masseuse. He has been giving massages to my husband and I for years and has alleviated many muscle pains caused by work and sports without hesitation. Jonathan knows the human body right and left, and we trust him.Gustavo is a wonderful addition to the group. I am pleased he joined the team. He has proven to be a great colorist, and hair stylist. He’s got an act that not everybody has. He is creative, pays attention to detail, has a friendly attitude and listens to you. You can tell he has a passion for what he does. I am very happy with Gustavo and would recommend him to my friends.Candice is a must at the spa. She is organized, she keeps track of her appointments, she is fast and efficient. I am very happy with my manicure and pedicure with Candice. She is as well a true professional.

Im my 10 months being in the athletic club I have improved my fitness skills in an outstanding way! The coaches are truly gentle and fabulous, the whole Midtown crew is admirable! First time here and I have to say that I love the club and the spa. Everyone was very friendly specially Gustavo from the spa. I had to attend a casting call on Sunday and I was initially going to another stylist when this lady cancelled my appointment last minute! :/ Then I found Gustavo on Instagram. I contacted him and he accommodated me in his busy schedule right away. I cannot thank him enough for what he has done. He is such an amazing person and talented hairstylist, he will make you feel like a queen in there. He made my hair look so shinny and healthy. I have never seen my hair looking like this before. Gustavo from the spa has SAVED MY LIFE! On the day of prom he saw me when my makeup artist fell through at the last minute and saw me just as the spa was about to close. He didn’t rush to go home, he took his time and made me look and feel beautiful. I am eternally grateful for him.

Just wanted to take a moment to review Midtown Athletic club for being so great to me. I travel often and am gone for months at a time and they’ve been kind enough to freeze my account. Also, I am moving out of the area and they were so helpful in cancelling my membership as it will take me 45minutes to an hour to drive to their gym with kids! They’re very understanding and I can’t thank them enough. I will miss this gym and all the wonderful classes!

When we moved to South Florida I was totally unaware of where to workout. It took me a month to find a place that would meet my expectations but once I stepped into Midtown I knew I couldn’t find any other place like that.I absolutely LOVE this club, everything is super new and up to date, all the teachers and personal trainers are great and very concerned about the members. The structure is fantastic, you feel like you’re in a SPA, with all the pools and jacuzzis, steam rooms, beauty salon... you name it!But most of all, what made me fall in love with this place is the people that work there. You can tell they do what they love! They’re so welcoming and concerned about you - most of them know me by my name! - that I can tell that I feel home every time that I walk through those doors.My special thanks to my dear Michelle, Daniel, Jill, Adriana and all the others that are always driven to fulfill one’s expectations.If you’re still in doubt of where to go, look no further!

I want to thank Daniel Perez for helping me with my membership from beginning to end. This is a great gym and its only going to get better with all the different modifications they are doing to the club. They have a great program for kids this is a great fitness center for familys. The café is amazing and the staff members are very professional and nice. I would stay if I could but unfortunately I moved away.

Have been a member for three months. LOVE the club. I am a gym rat, love classes, swim and have now taken up tennis. (Work on fitness industry)Instructors and classes are in a good range and facilities are always very clean and welcoming. Front desk staff are lovely and tennis coaches are excellent.I was a little under whelmed at cafe choices and thought there could be a better range of healthy snacks and food choices for lunch.Overall an excellent venue, even if pricey in comparison to YMCA and other gyms it is worth spending the money if you live in the gym every day!!!

First time I went to the spa at midtown and was recommended to Gustavo as a color specialist. He was awesome. My hair was breaking and I had colored it myself. He made my hair color as I wanted and stopped the breakage. I called him “Gustavo the magic hands”.Now I came back to have my hair and makeup done for a wedding and was very happy with the work he did. I really recommend him to all that wants a work well done.

Leydis from the Spa and Salon is fabulous!! She totally corrected my hair after it turned a funky color and made it beautiful again!! She is super friendly and definitely knows what she is doing! I would so recommend her to everybody!!!

This facility is the best I’ve been to. Unfortunately, I live in NE Broward so it’s quite a drive to Midtown but when I can get to Weston and if time permits, I’ll stop at the club.The staff and other members have been extremely friendly. I belong to another gym that is so dirty, has extremely poor management and is more interested in signing up as many members as possible vs. keeping their existing members happy.The facilities at Midtown are great and something else I’ve picked up on that is so different from my gym is that members talk to each other in the sauna/steam room/hot tub vs. at the gym I go to everyone brings their cell phones in the sauna..This facility is the best. (Wish there was one on the east side of town).

I will give it three stars because it is a nice facility. However, having been a member from 2012 until 2018, I found this place to be highly overpriced. If you’re a tennis player, this may be the place for you provided you are willing to spend a considerable amount of money. If you’re just looking for a good gym, there are many less expensive alternatives.

Horrible management, extremely overpriced, tennis classes so expensive and I felt like my iq dropped 30points seeing so many fake women. No thanks, not for me.

Fantastic facility. Very safe and family oriented. I love the classes here too. Ive taken weight lifting and some spin classes, and their intense, but totally worth it !

This really is an outstanding facility. The tennis courts are amazing, and in fairness, tennis seems to be the primary activity of this facility. There are 25 very nice clay courts, and what appears to be an endless list of teaching professionals working all the time.The interior of the club appears to be quite nice also, but from what Ive observed is more for cardio/exercise than heavy duty weight training.

Its a great place to get your goals. I mean you dont need a big gym to have a great workout.

Midtown is very clean and staff are awesome

Been working out here for about a year now. All the trainers and staff here are very nice. Offers classes, cardio machines, free weights, machines, pools, beach volleyball, and etc.. Only thing I would change is making a bigger area to do more of the HIT training for tire flipping, sled, etc. Other than that happy here.

I love the salon at Midtown. Everyone is very friendly and always so accommodating. I’ve been going to Midtown for two years now and I’ve been doing my hair with Leydis. She’s amazing at color and I highly recommend her!!! I have black hair and last year we did the Balayage process and she was able to get that beautiful blonde color that I wanted.Also, Ana does my nails and she’s really great too!

I have had the pleasure of having Leydis as my colorist and hairstylist for many years! She is an expert at finding the correct color/highlights for each persons hair color. I have been a member for almost 7years and I can’t say enough about Midtown in general. This is my second home. My kids have grown up there and have taken advantages of tennis and swimming lessons(great programs with great instructors). My favorite place the Spa for sure. I have been doing my hair with Leydis she cuts and color my hair and does an amazing job. My whole family of (5) goes with her. She is a truly professional and treats me like a queen every time. Nasilis the spa manager is amazing always accommodating my needs and making sure that I get the best service always. Ana Margarita and Candy for the nails you can’t go wrong. I have actually brought friends from outside that keep coming with Leydis. My day is always better when I am at Midtown taking a class, relaxing or just enjoying the Views. Best place in Weston.

Love this athletic center/gym. Diverse crowd mostly hispanic and everyone is nice. Facility seems to have everything anyone could want. Salads are good in cafe. I did not try classes, I need an upscale place to work out and I like the powerplate machine. Midtown Athletic is Nice high end facility.

I started going to the Midtown Weston Spa when my hairstylist, Leydis started to work there. Leydis was my hairstylist for many years, then after she left my previous salon, my hair woes started. I received terrible hair cuts from other stylists. Finally, one day I decided that the only person who I trust with my hair is Leydis. I went to her and she fixed my hair perfectly. Whenever I see her now for a haircut, she’ll ask me what I want to do and I always give her a general idea but also give her permission to do what she sees fit because I trust her that much with my hair. She is very professional and have never disappointed me. I have recommended my mom, cousin, friend, etc. to see her and they also highly recommend her. I will follow her wherever she goes :)

The Bistro is extremely good too, always improving their menu (not to mention they have a liquor license - they serve beer and thats a good thing!).Events are excellent: spinning outdoors with food trucks, plenty of nights for kids events/babysitting, and plenty of social events too.The Spa is excellent, the equipment is well maintained, and the nearly 30 tennis courts make for endless fun and training.A special shout out to @sabrina_spinning - she is the primary reason I go to the club. Her spinning class is second to none!If you live in Weston, with or without a family, its almost a must to join. The sense of community one eventually feels as a member is unmatched.

Called for information and placed on hold. Went in for information and they were so rude. I guess they dont want questions, just listen to them and hope you understand? Place looked nice from what I could see.

I did not want to write this review but I feel inclined and necessary to write it. First of all they are very unprofessional specially the manager Jim he doesnt know how to treat people with respect specially after the crazy amount of money it is to attend the gym monthly. The gym is overpacked and overpriced with it being nearly impossible to accomplish a full workout without waiting for machine. Also its packed with kids that are very disrespectful and always screaming and throwing weights around. Friendly advice DO NOT go to this gym.

One stop shop at this club.. From swimming, to work out classes, to beach volleyball, cardio machine, weights, very nice restaurant, and plenty of tennis courts. Food is great, staff is always friendly. And equipment is always top notch.

The installations are very nice and you can really enjoy the club. Im giving one star just because the customer service is really bad and they are only worry about the money they can take from you and not the Fitness Culture as they said the have. I was a member for two years and I decided to end my family membership to take care of some personal stuff. I decided it was time to come back so I call and ask if they could waived the 1 year commitment. (Yes, it is very pricey, almost $400 for the family, to make you sign a 1 year commitment). They had me waiting for almost a month until we had to call back several times until they decided to answer us. Not only they were very rude and classiest, they treat me like it was my first time at the club, they told me if I couldnt afford it I shouldnt even think about joining (not your business!). The two years as a member paying almost $400 a month were vanished and they couldnt even give us a brake and make a three month commitment. For this reason I will never recommend this club to anybody.

This place has the Worst customer service! Moreover the main pool area could be much improved. The brick floor looks like they have never pressure washed as it looks very stained. Weeds are growing in between the bricks. Also the night lights have spiderwebs in them as it looks like they have never cleaned them in years. Also the edge of the second floor looked from the pool area looks stained from the leaked rust coming from the second floor metal fence when it rains. Maybe is time to paint it so it looks cleaner. Stay away from this place!! As they lock you also in a contract you can never get out of!

If youre in the western Florida neighborhood this is a great place to work out but you have to have a membership or be staying overnight at the Marriott properties.

Club announced they are closed from Sunday 9/1 after 12 and also closed on Monday and Tuesday even though the hurricane did not pass anywhere closed to BrowArd county. Discuss this c Management and they are not willing to reconsider!

Great facilities. Friendly environment. A bit more than just a gym.

Its unfortunate that the staff here is entirely clueless and unwilling to help because the facilities are actually quite nice.This club will charge you for breathing - not only do they charge you for anything and everything that they can but their website to check your statement every month is a pain to use. They assign an extremely complicated usernames and passwords and allow you an extremely limited number of guest passes and each additional guest is $22 plus tax.This place overcharged me 2 months in a row so I called to dispute and instead of refunding me, they said they would apply it to my next billing cycle. Well the next billing cycle came by and they over charged me again claiming I had brought guests when they have no documentation of it. On top of that, when I cancelled my account they failed to mention that they were going to freeze my account and not fully cancel it and they charged me $110 more than they should have when the final bill came through. They were so uncooperative, incompetent and unable/unwilling to solve my problem that I ended up having to go through my Amex to have it solved. Absolute nightmare. I will be moving back to S. FL at some point and I will NEVER return to this facility. For the same price, you can attend Equinox which is a much higher class facility, with better trainers and top of the line class schedule. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
