I have two AC Units in my house rolling into the 20 years of life which is the dread we all face. The one finally up and died so the team at First Class will be putting a new one in after exhausting every other option to resuscitate this one. While that was going on, the 2nd unit started giving me trouble. In both cases the two young men that came out Josh and Morgan were great! They were both professional and courteous! Josh took the time to explain the problem understanding that replacing any of the the units was the last thing I wanted to do. They found the issue with my second unit and thankfully it is repairable. Bottom line is I would recommend First Class any time and if you are fortunate enough to have Josh and Morgan show up then all the better.

We had 2 technicians at the house today due to our well pump failing. They came same day and within 3 hours, had it replaced and water running. The team was super professional and I would highly recommend this company. Will certainly call again if we have a need for their services.

This company truly is first class! When I bought a South Central Pennsylvania farmette in late 2020, it had a large barn but only one functioning hydrant. First Class worked with me to add five Nelson waterers in the barn and adjacent paddock, a feed room sink, and a second functioning hydrant. All this was made more challenging by the exceptionally rocky ground under my house and barn -- but they found a way every time. After they finished their job, another contractor accidentally cut a water and electrical line to one of the waterers -- and Gary and Corey came out within 3 hours to repair both lines.

Two workers from this company were sent to work at my home in Bolton Hill along with the NPL team who are doing the BGE gas upgrade in the neighborhood. They were here 6/10/2021. They communicated between themselves and the other workers outstandingly as they did with me. They clearly explained what they needed to do to be sure my appliances got gas and respected my property so well. They had boot covers and even took off the boots to go from my basement upstairs. They didn’t let pouring rain deter them from lighting my outside gas lamp. I will be telling my friends and neighbors about these guys and First Class Mechanical!

Had Sam out today to remove my water meter. He came in greeted my pets and went to work. He was very quick, respectful and did an outstanding job. Before he left he made sure the space was clean and that I was satisfied. I will absolutely be using them again in the future.

My elderly parents well pump failed and they were out of water. They placed a call to First Class Mechanical and they showed up the same day. Not only did they have the needed parts on their truck, but they were experts, very professional, and made sure that my parents had their water back up before an impending Winter storm. I am very thankful to Gary and his team for the quick, professional, and excellent work! On top of it all, they were exceedingly reasonable in terms of pricing. We will keep First Class Mechanical on speed dial for any future repairs.

First Class to the rescue again! We have always had excellent service from Kevin and his team. Tonight at about 5:45-6 PM our power went out. Eric was here within 20 minutes of us calling, and determined we probably had a damaged wire leading to our well pump. That turned out to be the case - and he had our water back and running in less than 3 hours. On a Sunday night. I cant recommend First Class Mechanical more.

Stellar service. On 1/2016 KJD plumbing replaced the pressure tank tee and tank with china brass fittings. That brass tee failed on the pressure tank and flooded my basement that was installed by KJD on 1/2016. Had replaced this tee before 2016 with all stainless steel fittings myself but for one reason or another KJD Plumbing replaced with all brass? I was out of town at the time. On site today though, and did not even have to ask for stainless steel replacements parts from First Class Mechanical. Apparently it is the standard for them in this area. Good help is hard to find. The repair personnel Ray and helper were timely friendly and very knowledgeable. Cleaned up after the task and left the site better than they found it. AWESOMENESS! Eric called me back the night before and was helpful as well. Tammy was also very helpful and called the next morning and got us on the schedule. Good people. Price is good especially all stainless steel. They treat people fair. I get it. Others do not. You get what you pay for. First Class! Will utilize the service again in the future.

Our water heater unexpectedly died and due to the large number of people that live in our house, we needed help immediately.. They came out the same day. Had a bit of a plumbing emergency and I didn’t have a plumber on-hand. I did a little research and asked for recommendations, first class mechanical was the first to answer my call.The receptionist who took my call was both kind and courteous. She easily helped me make an appointment. Between 10-2.My plumbers showed up about 11 am. They gave me a call ahead of time which was greatly appreciated since I was not the one home to greet them. Again, I received exceptional customer service. I was given an estimate for how much this project would cost to repair and that estimate rang true. There were even some problems along the way but my plumbers were courteous enough to update me with phone calls every step of the way and keep my price the same.By 12:30 pm, the repair was finished. No mess.....no stress. They even loved my cat and his attempts to “assist” them. I felt like I was treated fairly, respectfully, and like family.I would HIGHLY recommend and plan to use first class mechanical for future projects and issues.Thank you so much!

Called First Class Mechanical at 9am because my well pump wasn’t working. Never used them before but they were the first ones to pop up on google. The lady who answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. She told me they would have someone out between 11 and 3. Ray and Corey were on-site at 11:15am! They quickly diagnosed the problem and determined there was a break in the electrical line to the pump. They offered to just replace the line without replacing the pump but the pump was 17 years old and probably near the end of its life. Although I did decide to go ahead and replace the pump as well, they did not pressure me to it. All in all they were extremely friendly, courteous and professional. They finished the job in about an hour. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again! Highly recommend! Thank you Ray and Corey for a great job!

We just moved to this area about a year ago, and woke up with no water. I asked on my moms group on Facebook for a recommendation and had the best reviews on First Class. We called and got a 12-4pm window and Eric was here at 12pm and diagnosed our issue within minutes, and had the problem fixed and done within an hour. Eric was great!! I recently called First Class Mechanical when a long time trusted company wasnt able to perform a water heater replacement. The woman that set up the appointment was super friendly and helpful and gave me a comfortable feeling from the start. When they came out to replace the unit, which they did very quickly, I asked about some additional work that needed to be done and was given an estimate before they left. Upon their return, they replaced most of the old piping in my house, installed a new utility tub, faucet, and pump, replaced the pressure tank, repaired two toilets, relocated the washer piping, and replaced an outside hose bib, all on the same day. It felt like a new house after they left, plus the peace of mind after seeing the finished product, well, that says it all. I cant say enough about Ray and his crew, they did an EXCELLENT job!!! Called with an emergency as our well pump stopped working so we have no water. The receptionist clearly smelled blood in the water because she refused to give me a cost range and instead insisted they just come out for a free price quote which was only free if they didn’t touch anything, which wouldn’t be possible. So either way they’d extort money out of us. Very shady!

1st class mechanical is awesome! 1st they installed a pressure tank for me the very next day after i contacted them, I expected at least a week and it was even on a Saturday. Next i discovered water in our basement. Not knowing who to call, i called Eric from 1st class mechanical. It was as Sunday and he got there as soon as he could. Found where the leak was, isolated it and returned at a later date for the repairs. We just moved to the area and are not use to this type of service! For any hvac needs well be sure to use them.

Spoke to Kevin on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to schedule for Monday morning if possible. I was contacted Monday morning at 7am with a technician arrival time of 8am. Technicians arrived on time pulled our well and made necessary repairs very quickly. Service was excellent and very reasonably priced. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone in need of plumbing and mechanical services.

I Had to have my water heater replaced. Another company come out and give me an estimate and First Class beat their price by over $500. I called at 11:30 AM and water heater was installed same day by 4:00 PM. Technicians were professional and really made sure to take care of my house as they brought stuff in and out of the house and they left the work area cleaner then it was before they started. First Class will be my first call for all future plumbing work!

I first came across First Class after having a series of less-than-great experiences with my long-time plumbing company. I heard some good things and saw the reviews of First Class and thought i would give them a try. Last November, I had a water heater problem but figured i would kill two birds with one stone and get my well pressure tank replaced due to age and rust.I called after hours and got the answering service and was PROMPTLY called the next morning by the extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable Tammy. They went out of their way during a busy day to get me taken care of with this more time-consuming job. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and honesty of the technician Gary who took care of the work. Given the late hour, Eric, another tech, came from another job (when he was really done his day) to help out if needed since there really were two jobs in one. The guys were prompt, informative, considerate, clean, and very friendly. They gave me details and prices before doing any work. I checked some comparative pricing and found them to be very competitive Honestly, even if they had been a little higher, it would have been worth it as it was the best overall plumbing experience I have had in my many years of home ownership.Last night, after dinner, we discovered we were without water. I knew it was probably the well pump so I called the answering service at around 7PM and was asked if it was an emergency. Not willing to pay an exorbitant emergency fee, I said it would be nice to have water but it could wait until the morning. She said she would go ahead and have the tech call back. I was very happy and surprised when I got a call within 10 minutes and it was my friend Gary. He said he could come out that night. I said I did not want to pay the crazy emergency fee that other companies charge and he said if it was the pump, it would basically just be the standard price. He would only have to charge the after hours labor fee if it was something minor. With the age of the pump, we were confident that this was the problem. I had not even had time to get the pump specs and depth so I had to call him back with that info. He said he would call another tech and get things arranged and call me back when he was on his way. Long story short, the pump was bad but the cabling also had 4 breaks and needed to be replaced. He made sure to get me outside to show me the specific problems. So, I called at 7PM and by 9:30PM the water was flowing again. Wow! I woke up this morning to the sound of my wife running water in the sink and really had to think about if the pump problem had really happened.Given the nature of this business, I cannot guarantee that it is always possible to get that type of quick service. But, I can assure you that Gary and the team at First Class will take care of you and you will be very pleased with the outcome.

Had a waterline break in the yard and it was starting to come up through the basement. First class mechanical came out. Pulled the proper permits and replaced the line right away. I would highly recommend them. Extremely professional, personable, and the clean up was quick and well done. Ill be using them in the future if I ever need them.

Outstanding service from the first phone call to the final signature after work was completed. Woke up on July 5th to no water. Called my usual plumber who was booked, then called another company and after waiting over an hour for a call back I was referred to First Class by my neighbor. Receptionist was friendly, caring and actually had empathy. At 10:30 she told me someone would be in the area between 12-4 and she would put the oh the schedule and assured I would have water by the end of the day. 12:15 the van pulled up, by 12:30 they found the problem, have be estimate and went out, bought a new well troll tank. I had running water by 3 pm. Price was very reasonable. Cant say enough good things about First Class Mechanical and will not be calling anyone else in the future.

It was an old and worn out well pump. They had a replacement pump to the scene within a few minutes. First Class, should be called world class! Had an issue with a damaged gas flange after a gas meter replacement. They were brought in after another company was unable to get parts to repair the leak. The Plumber First Class Mechanical sent was prompt, professional and most importantly was able to quickly diagnose the issue and resolve it. He had the parts needed in his truck, and did a excellent job. Made sure to fully leak check the system, and make sure everything was good before leaving and even painted the new outdoor piping to prevent it from rusting.They will definitely be my first call should I need any work done in the future.

First Class Mechanical ran water to my barn and installed a automatic generator. Both were done professionally, on time and under budget. Since that time i have had them look at my air conditioning and water heater. They have always done a great job. I recommend them all the time.

Had an emergency today--blockage in pipe caused a serious leak thru the whole house. Called multiple big name places--no one could help me. I had used these guys for years and had always pleased with their work. But Im not sure if theyre under new ownership now? Because all of the things I once appreciated (great customer service, fair pricing, and quality work) are long gone. After punching a hole in a pipe snaking it, I got stuck cleaning up the mess to a tune of a few thousand dollars. They omitted crucial (and costly) pieces on their proposal as well. The owner, John, was downright nasty on the phone with me. Im disappointed to say the least as I had once really liked this company, but I will never ever use them again.

I thought I had a well pump issue. The technician checked the switch. Got an unusual reading and called Kevin. Kevin had him check the circuit breaker. Over the phone Kevin diagnosed it as an outside BGE issue.Called BGE and it was a bad outside wire. Once that was fixed,the well pump worked.This saved me hundreds of dollars.Thank You.
