My MacBook Pro 2015’s keyboard and track pad stopped working. I brought it here and they were able to have it fixed in a couple hours! Thanks so much and I will come here again for any of my computer needs.

It doesnt get better than the Device Shop. Used them in NYC but now working at home, tried the Westfield shop. Get my damaged phone back to like new in an hour. Reasonable price, everything upfront. Visit was a few months ago and everything still working perfectly. Worth the drive for the service and high quality replacement components.

Highly recommend this shop for cracked screens on Apple devices! Have used them twice now. Most recently they replaced an iPad Mini screen in 30 minutes for a little more than HALF of what Apple charges for the same repair.

I had a great experience with the Device Shop in Westfield NJ. It was so easy to make an appointment for my damaged iphone. I couldve sworn my charging port was broken. They couldve easily sold me a new replacement piece for more money but they were rather to repair it without replacing any parts for a fraction of the price. I highly recommend The Device Shop.

I made an appointment online to have the phone screen repaired and the appointment was made just an hour in advance. I walked in at 3:00 for the appointment, they were expecting me and took the phone. It was ready at 3:45. Great work, great price and very professional.

My iPhone had fallen one too many times. My speaker wasn’t working, I could not enter my passcode and I thought my phone had seen its last days. I googled a computer repair shop in town that also does screen repairs for iPhones. While the reviews were good some were not and one of them mentioned The Device Shop. The reviews for them were much better. I took my phone to The Device Shop in hopes my phone could get fixed. I told the gentlemen there my phone issues, he told me he’ll do his best and to come back in 45 minutes. I came back 45 minutes later, my phone was fixed, my screen repaired and he even threw in a free phone case. I was beyond relieved and pleased that not only my phone was repaired, the price was reasonable, I got a free phone case and most importantly I didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg for a new phone! I definitely highly recommend.

This guys are awesome. I discovered them a few years ago in the city and have been using their services ever since. Excellent quality work and they stand by their repairs. Not to mention a lot cheaper than Apple repair cost.

My iPhone was doing weird things and I was sure I would need a new phone. I called the Device Shop and they said they could do a free diagnosis, that the problem was either the battery or the motherboard would need replacement. I scheduled an appointment, and they timely did the diagnosis and said I just needed a new battery. I was so relieved and they were so efficient.

I was very happy with quality and quickness of the repair work that The Device Shop performed on my daughter’s iPad. The cost of the repairs was not prohibitive.

The screen quality is so poor it was glitchy right away. the staff insisted on my password even tho I was leaving them my phone- and I had said I was not going to give them such. the man kept asking til I got real stern about it and he then got a bit rude like how could I not trust this complete stranger with full access to my phone in my absence. he didnt need the password- he could check the phone when I returned. it cost twice as much than the $80 fee in Manhattan I am used to- for $80 and a $20 tip they come to your house and finish in 15 mins. this took hours and was done shotty. By the end I could have bought my same phone refurbished and been better off.seriously they will install a poor quality screen/face on your phone and it will never work the same. the touch screen was like a centimeter off so it was a real drag to maneuver until I got a new screen for half the price, none of the hassle, and no attempts at privacy break in. the price gauging is bad enough but then giving me the cheapest screen available just makes this company a bunch of crooks. be better.

I had a broken screen. They order the parts which didnt even take a day like I was told . The next day my parts were in. I had the phone fixed in a 45min. Works like new. Definitely would recomend them.

Recently went to Device Shop for a battery replacement on a MacBook Air. I was told the rust could be the problem. When I knew in fact it wasnt because I performed test on my computer to figure out it was the battery only. My battery lost life a long time ago. I just didnt get it fixed until the battery couldnt hold power anymore, to even turn on. I Was told It had a lot of rust which it didnt, I reopened my laptop to see if they performed the cleaning I paid for. Still just as dusty as it was before I left them my computer. Basically got charged for a cleaning that didnt happen. Even if the cleaning happened, I could care less. The reason I was upset is because I have screws missing for my cover plate. When I opened my laptop I also found a screw sitting near my computer fan. Its sloppy work. In this industry something so small can destroy a computer. I allowed them to think I was incoherent about the situation to see how they would take advantage. Which they did, Lucky my focus was only getting my computer on at the time.

I have had good experiences in the past with this Device Shop location; however I recently made an appointment online. I received a text message the day of the appointment reminding me of the time. When I arrived, the shop was closed. I left a voicemail and have yet to hear back from anyone.

I have had many devices here since they opened. Repairs are always quicker than allotted. Only issue w this repair was first screen said 60$; second and before I made the appointment it sent 90$. I was aware and would have gotten repaired regardless.

After being told by my carrier, (VZW) that my phone was not fixable, it was suggested by a friend that I take my phone to The Device Shop in Westfield. My phone was fixed like new in one hour. Cost.. $41 with a Groupon coupon. The manager George was very courteous, professional and efficient. His customer service acumen was excellent. He absolutely represents the company very well. Just had a great experience at the Device Shop. They replaced my shattered phone screen in less than 30 minutes for decent price.What really impressed me was that a very elderly lady came in with a flip phone and asked them to fix it. Andre, at the counter, was about to say he couldnt fix flip phones, but when she said the ringer wasnt working, he took a look at it. He quickly un-muted the phone and had it ring for her. He was very polite and kind and, of course, didnt charge her for it. I was very impressed with both Andre and Blaze, who fixed my phone.

Though the repair for my shattered iPhone was quick and quite cheap, the quality of the replacement screen left A LOT to be desired, and left a $60 hole in my wallet. The replacement screen shattered AGAIN two weeks after my appointment from a 2.5 foot drop, though I had an OtterBox case on it. Now, my phone does not turn on. My past experiences at The Device Shop in Westfield have been great, yet I am VERY dissatisfied with my latest experience. They charge 60$ for nothing, take that into account, 60 just so they can tell you they cant do anything. They are a waste of time and money clearly a scam

I tried 3 times in person to make appointments to get the glass on my phone replaced. Quoted at 250$. The item needed was never in stock, I asked to be contacted upon availability and was told no appointment was necessary. On my third visit my name and number were taken and I was told the piece would be in in a few days. I was still never contacted and when I called there was no answer. I left a message with a request to be called back and still haven’t received anything. It’s been two weeks. I really expect more from a store in Westfield. All the people who work there barely talk to you and you just feel so unwanted the second you step in the door. I just don’t see how this place is still open.

I had water damage on my iPhone 6s and first went to the Verizon store. Of course their solution was to sell me a new phone. To their credit they did recommend I try bringing it to the Device Shop. I dropped off my phone and they quickly diagnosed the problem and did the necessary repair. Employee fit me in just before closing to repair the damaged LCD on my iPhone 7. The repair took 10 minutes and he graciously gave me a deal because I used cash as payment. Excellent little place with flexible, friendly staff.

I didnt end up getting my phone repaired here, but the folks I talked to were honest enough to inform me that I could get a new version of the phone for what it would cost to repair it.If Im unfortunate enough to require repairs of a newer phone Id go back.

Stopped in this morning with my company Iphone 5s as it stopped charging. George and his guy cleaned the port and returned it in less than an hour fixed up and good to go. First time I had my s7 serviced here. The phone had screen damage from being driven over with a car. I provided a oem screen for them to replace it with took them less than an hour to do it, keep in mind this is a provided screen, so it if did not work when they installed it I would not hold them accountable. Its like bringing your own parts in for a mechanic to fix your car with . Reasonably priced service, quick turn around cant ask for more . Would recommend for anyone that needs a mobile phone repaired

After two years of my MacBook Pro mid 2010 crashing, I found a solution which involved replacing a part on the motherboard. All other stores including Apple told me to replace the computer. I was under the gun to replace a lost phone after a 20th Anniversary Trip to Paris. I loved my 6s but upgraded to a 7s at the Westfield Store. I was dreading the process by my self inflicted injury but was pleasantly surprised by the turnaround time which was exactly 49 minutes. While the iPhone 7s was used, there was a new battery installed and tempered glass added at a very fair price. Before this trip, I did not know this shop existed but from now on they have earned all my future business and I will be sure to tell anyone who is in need of assistance of their great work. Cracked screen on my phone...easy fix, right? I brought it to some clown who fancied himself a phone repair technician (beware of Craigslist ads!...bring your phone to a pro like Device Shop!). Device Shop guys immediately diagnosed that the technician destroyed my phone by cracking one of the boards. Device Shop was honest that the phone couldnt be saved and they didnt charge me for the diagnosis...(very fair!). I wish I had gone to them in the first place...then I wouldnt be coughing up $100s of dollars for a new phone. I will DEFINITELY go to Device Shop in the future

I spilled an entire glass of water on laptop. My laptop has my entire academic career on it. Basically my life is on that computer. The Device Shop was able to bring my laptop back to life! I cannot thank them enough!

My phone wouldnt charge so I brought it in and within 5 minutes they figured out that I had something in there that was preventing it from charging. They got it out and didn’t charge me! Nice people!

After taking my Iphone to 3 other phone repair shops (including the Apple store), I finally came to The Device Shop in Westfield.They had my phone fixed within a few minutes. They not only replaced a faulty battery, but cleaned out the inside of the phone for free.Also they helped me transfer the Sim card from my backup phone to the fixed phone, and helped me ensure the fixed phone was completely ready to go for free.

Had an iPhone screen fixed here today - CPR on 22 wanted $200 these guys did the job perfectly for 1/2 that and it works perfectly. Dont think Ill be going back to CPR any time soon.

There is no worse feeling than dropping your iphone and picking it up to discover that the glass is shattered. This happened to me two weeks ago and I wasn’t sure quite where to turn. The first option of looking at the Apple website, does offer solutions to fix the problem but none are inexpensive or timely. A friend in Westfield saw my semi-shattered phone screen and suggested that I check out the Device Store by stating “Those guys are awesome” Within a few clicks, I made an appointment at their Westfield location and received a preliminary cost estimate for the repairs. I went at 10 AM on a Saturday morning and I was in and out of the store with a new screen and trackball in less than 30 minutes. Incredible!! I highly recommend the Device Store as a first point of call with any smart phone issue. I will be making another appointment shortly to have my daughter’s screen repaired.

Extremely disappointed. Had to get my screen replaced and battery.. screen looks great but they put in the battery incorrectly because a few days later I heard it shaking inside my phone. Then, the battery quickly became less efficient until my phone broke completely and it wont power on. I left Jersey to go to college so now I might need a completely new phone. Highly unsatisfied.

Brought my phone in to have screen fixed / replaced. They used non-Apple product to replace and 3 days later it was splintering. But not only that, the phone no longer vibrated and the main button stopped working within a week.Brought it back and was told ‘your phone is old...you should get a new phone...these things break...’Yeah, they break after you ‘repaired’ it. He ‘offered’ to charge me again to fix the center button, and did nothing more.Garbage customer service when something goes wrong. They treat you as if you’ve acccused them of malfeasance, and they offer no help to rectify.I’d rather pay Apple next time.

I was caught in the rain recently and my three year old phone received some water damage on the screen. Since I have not had issues with my phone or other devices before I decided to give the device shop a chance because of their good online reviews. When I realized how expensive it was to replace the screen I was somewhat surprised ($110) for a screen for a phone that cost $200 brand new. Since I needed my phone as soon as possible I went and asked them to change it anyway. When I received it back the home button on my phone was not fitted properly and the back of my phone was not completely snapped on. Not knowing much about phones I didn’t think much of it. I just put it in my pocket and was on my way. Fast forward 4 days I take the phone from my pocket and the screen is broken. During this time my phone was not dropped or even slightly abused. So I decided to bring it back figuring there was some kind of defect in the screen. Naturally when I returned I assumed they would stand by their work and fix my phone. They did not. They said the only thing they could do is give me a discount on another screen. $80 instead of $110 whoop de doo. That was not satisfactory. Since then I have done some research online and figured out that the Ill fitting home button was an indication of an improperly fitted screen. This poor workmanship caused my screen to break. So I called the shop and mentioned this. Surprise surprise they get defensive because they know they did a poor job. At this point I’m sure they won’t help me so I’m out of my money.So If you are in a remotely similar position to me this is my advice:1. If it’s a cheap enough device just buy a new one. (I did a little research and found a better phone online for less than the $110 to replace the screen)2. Buy your own screen and replace it. Screens and kits to replace screens are far cheaper then their price. ($40) plus the process is fairly simple.3. If you insist on using this shop. Before you leave throughly look over your device. Make 100% sure everything works properly and fits properly. Make them honest because they have no problems leaving you out to dry.Re:Thanks for the response. I did not crack my screen either time though.Consider how I previously had the phone with no issues for years and as soon as I bring it to your shop 4 days later it is broken.I don’t have any personal animosity towards you or your business I just would hope that you would stand by your work which you do not

I heard this place was pretty cheap for the service they provide so I decided to come to get my phone fixed and potentially get the battery replaced. As it had been overheated or whatever happened to it. I dropped it off and said theyd call me when its fixed. TWO DAYS LATER I went to pick it up and they said it hadnt been fixed and they gave me my broken phone back with nothing done to it. Shame.
