My husband was in hospice care and very ill when we had to have our furnace fixed. It was also during the pandemic.. The service techs were so respectful and helpful about fixing with minimal disruption to my husband. We have used precision comfort for many years and would not think of going elsewhere. We have used Precision Comfort for our geothermal heating and air for over 25 years. Precision Comfort installed an additional system to an addition on our home. We also use their maintenance agreement for our new home. We have used Precision Comfort for close to 10 years and are very satisfied with their service. They have fixed a problem with the duct work which was installed by another company when we had our home built. After being in the house for a year we realized the other company didnt know how to properly install our zoned system. During the ten years they have replaced our heatpump. They have also removed a 2 foot long birds nest from the vent pipe leading to the outside of our house. The first guy checked the system and all was working fine but couldnt figure out why the furnace was shutting down. A second guy came and putting their heads together decided to dismantle the flu pipe with each working at different ends until they came to, unbeknownst to them, a birds nest buried deep in the vent. They could have left us hanging on a cold November Saturday but they didnt. In all visits to our home, they have been polite, follow COVID precautions, wear shoe coverings inside our home, and leave their work area clean. Communications have also been good in regards to who is answering service calls and times of arrival. We will continue to hire Precision Comfort not out of loyalty but due to good service.

In my house for less than a year and called Precision Comfort Systems to inspect and clean the furnace in the fall. They had installed it years before for the previous home owner. I signed up for the maintenance plan voluntarily. Took care of the AC in the spring. During a cold snap the furnace would not ignite and a service technician arrived within a few hours and quickly fixed it, due to a vacuum hose causing a false signal. He noticed the flames were tinged in yellow and inspected the heat exchanger. It had a small crack. I had a new furnace installed since the price difference on a repair and the age of the furnace made it a better option. The installation was scheduled quickly and completed in a professional manner. The price seemed reasonable as I had comparison for replacing the furnace in my previous house a couple years prior. All of the people I worked with have been pleasant and professional.

I have used Precision Comfort for all my HVAC needs for the past 8+ years. They are always responsive and courteous. I typically ask for Ryan because I know he is very knowledgeable and has always been able to diagnose any problem or make any repair I have needed. He also installed a new heat pump at my previous residence after the old one finally became too expensive to fix. They were able to keep my existing furnace, which was a huge help with reducing cost, and I felt very confident in their install of the new equipment.Highly recommend.

I built a new 4500 sq ft home in Westfield and Precision installed 2 hvac systems for me. As the owner of my own hvac company for 20 years I was very selective about who I hired. The duct sizing is perfect with no noise and proper airflow at all registers. All sheetmetal no ductboard or flex duct was used. They also used nitrogen when welding my a/c lines which is very important. Expert staff. I am totally satisfied.

We called Precision for an estimate on a new heat pump system. They came highly recommended from a friend. We had already gotten an estimate from another company who brought us quotes on 3 different systems. Precision came in and after looking at everything, told us what they recommended and why. Paul pulled out two pamphlets and showed me all the options and why he believed it was best for us. He recommended one unit, much like the one they were replacing. What I did notice, the other company recommended a unit that was not powerful enough, and the two highest end units, which were more than we needed. Everything extra they recommended, Paul explained why we didn’t need it. Precision had no idea what the other company recommended or the cost. All in all, Precision saved us over $10,000, were on time, pleasant to work with, and our house is once again warm. I would highly recommend Precision.

Asked for a break down of my $29,000 quote - parts - labor etc vs just a lump sum number. Gary the sales rep really seemed have a problem with that and actually asked if I do the same in my business (of course I do). A few hours later he sent the the breakdown - with the following sassy remark. Unreal...When I go out to eat tonight I’m going to ask the restaurant owner to break down my bill so I really know what my costs are. I know I can get a steak at Costco for a good price. Maybe I can have him cook it for meSad. Guess who Im not doing business with - and Im a general contractor with another house after this one.

Then, I had questions about interior air quality in my home, and Dan spent 50 minutes on the phone reviewing our home’s condition, my concerns, and the science of humidity. Instead of selling me a high priced system to “solve” my concern, he gave me education, a course of action for further investigation, and options to accomplish our goal- both to purchase through the company and recommendations for purchase options on my own. They only cut away a minimal of our mature bushes in order to install the AC unit and also improved the condensed water drain line over the original installation. All work very professional. Obtained a second opinion regarding a broken air conditioner after the other company, who shall remain nameless (but I’m sure if you “dial”ed their number they’d be the “one”), tried to tell me it would cost almost as much to repair as it would to replace the unit that was just 2 months outside of their warranty. Precision was professional from the first phone call to the completion of the work. Instead of charging almost $4000 to dx and repair the problem, Precision didn’t charge for the second opinion and diagnosis. I received a quote to replace the inside coil that was 1/3 of the original company’s estimated cost and they were scheduled within the week to do the repairs. The service tech was efficient, honest, conscientious and thorough. Glad I trusted my instinct and did some research to find a good, local company to do the work!

My furnace failed when the temperature outside was 15°F. Technicians were on my property within five hours, a new furnace was ordered and installed five days later. Nice and easy and responsive.

I had an apt.between 4 and 6. They called me at 11 for an early apt. for which I couldn’t make. I got a call at 3:45 and said i would right there. I got there at 4 and waited till 5:30. I called Precision and they said the tech waited from 3:45 to 4:30. I understand problems with apts. I just don’t like being lied to.

Called for service when my heat went out and my geothermal was on emergency heat. I was told it was my wall thermostat and my air conditioning was going to need a $2600 repair come spring. They replaced my thermostat and I started saving for the repair. My unit was never taken off of emergency heat and my electric bill was 4x my normal bill for months. When I finally had the money saved for the air conditioner to be repaired I was told everything was under manufacturers warranty except the service call and a miscellaneous fee. So after paying Duke hundreds of extra dollars every month all I get from Precision Comfort was maybe I should have asked for another service guy. Really? So I could be charged another service fee or upsold another thermostat I didnt need? How about this.......hire good employees. They have sent a different repair person every time. Plus they left my air filter on the floor every time and never put it back in my unit after service.

Precision Comfort Systems saved the day. Our blower motor was on its way out on a -13 degree morning. I called numerous places and no one could guarantee a same day visit. Precision not only said they would get to us, they showed up within 3 hours!An hour and a half visit and one blower motor later on the air handler and we were back in business. Precision Comfort is top notch and I highly recommend giving them a call first.

We just had a nightmare situation where our heat wouldnt work late on a very cold Christmas Eve. My husband called Precision Comfort and Martin called us right back. We told Martin we were tight on funds and asked about what we could do. He saved us an after-hours holiday visit by talking my husband through several testing procedures until we were able to find the issue and get a temporary fix to get us through the holiday! This company has been doing our maintenance for years, but today was the real test on whether I would recommend them to others. I would.Our furnace went out around 2am Sunday morning. I left a message for Precision Comfort Systems around 8am, got a call back in less than an hour, and a service call from Ryan a couple hours later. Fortunately a new capacitor fixed the problem, and we were warming back up by noon.

PCS has been my HVAC contractor for over a year and really like their attention to detail to get repairs done asap with highly educated experienced techs whom are friendly and professional while going about repair and or replacement of items to keep my Trane system working at peak performance.They offer a great affordable Preventive Maintenance Agreement(PMA) that includes; 1)Preferred Priority Status 2)No overtime charges 3)15% discount on repairs.If you need emergency service like I did recently after business hours on a weekday your call does not go to a dispatch switchboard but to a simple easy to understand system that will let you leave a VM with the current tech on duty.The tech Neil called back within fifteen minutes was over at my house in thirty and system up and runnning(cooling) in another thirty minutes while he explianed everything.Bam!

I would not let these people touch anything on my HVAC system. There are much better companies in the area.I have a house with a Lennox heat pump that the compressor went out on. I had them come out to service it as they are authorized Lennox technicians. They replaced the compressor, that fall the system would not work on heat. I talked to someone else in the HVAC industry and found out they were to replace additional parts, one of which was a valve. I obtained a copy of the service paperwork and found out all that was replaced was the compressor. When they returned the following spring they replaced the parts that they were supposed to replace the first time. Now this year I discovered I have a refrigerant leak at the joint where the valve was replaced. I had this diagnosed by another company, and when I contacted them I received the standard 1 year warranty spiel on labor. Solder joints when dome properly do not leak. They are not a mechanical bond, they are a chemical bond, and when done correctly they will last a lifetime.
