Unlike the Salt Lake office the West Valley office is very friendly and helpful. Even though I live in Salt Lake City I drive the extra miles to deal with this office because of their excellent customer service. I especially recommend dealing with Yajaira Skinner at the West Valley office, she is friendly, helpful and professional and will get you working fast.

First off ive been going through elwood for about 4 years. So i was looking into a job iam qualified for and i was the first person in line for this job i let them know the supervisor of that company was sending over an email request for another temp before they even knew he needed help. The supervisor knew i was interested so he sent over a request. I called let them know he sent a request over. They decided to give a man the job. Even thought im qualified and i was the one that talked with them first and the supervisor knew i was interested. They are sexist and i would never recommend.

From them to mostly do everything over text email or if you need to go in the office is really up to you. They do direct deposit, check or pay card. Your option. Great customer service. They terminate my account cause I didnt have transportation to a job and they didnt tell it was further then my address and basically said I did a no call no show when I did call to inform them I couldnt make it cause it was to far for me to get there and they didnt care and told me it wasnt there problem I wouldnt recommend anyone to work through them not professional at all worst temp agency to work for and they screw you in your hours and delay your pay they do what they want when they want with everyones account I dont trust that company and wouldnt suggest anyone to go through them at all this is a warning to all who think about applying to them

I’m tired of sending resume and they never call back or at least update where I’m at with the positions I’m applying for. Literally I called they say send in your resume, as if I didn’t send them the same resume for the 100 times.Also the jobs I went to they just let us go saying they were full.

I like how easy the process is to complete the application. They have wonderful great jobs available. I love the work site i am at. The office staff at Elwood also send over one of their staff to your new work site on the first day to make sure everything is good. Whenever i have questions about my pay or paystubs or benefits they do answer my questions in a timely manner. So if you are looking for a job go to Elwood they will take care of you. I have been at my work site going on 2 months. I love every moment of it.

Talked with Harmony at the West Valley office and she quickly lined me up with a job for the next day. She was very professional and kind!

I applied for a job through Elwood Staffing online, and was contacted the very next day to set up an interview. Everything was going well. When I go in for my interview, however, they have no record of the job for which I applied and I was instead offered a list of other jobs that werent even in the same field and which I cannot perform due to disabilities. Once I turned those jobs down, I was dismissed. Duration of my interview was ten minutes and they never asked for the IDs and direct deposit information they requested that I bring. The lady in the next cubicle wouldnt even turn her radio down so that I could have a decent conversation with my interviewer.I feel that I was lied to with the job for which I had actually applied, like some kind of bait and switch routine, and once I expressed no interest in the two jobs I cant do because of handicaps, they were no longer interested in earning a commission off of me and I was shooed out the door.

I was going to give this location 5 stars.I called on January 13th for work. The front desk told me and later texted details about starting the following day at Pep Move. I was grateful and arrived on time.Ben (the guy I reported to) turned me away. Because they already had someone there. I wasted time, money and gas (20 min).I called Elwood around noon, front desk said they’d place me on hold. But she actually hung up on me, and didn’t return my call after I left a concerned voicemail.I called again 2 hours later, explained what had happened. But they tried to justify their actions by saying, “we send 2 in case 1 doesn’t show up.”However they offered me another job for Blue Chip. Stating I could finish the rest of this week there. 30 min later a man called back saying, “we don’t need you anymore.” He didn’t apologize nor offer other work.Am I the only one who’s gone through this? What did I do to deserve this, I’m just trying to make a living.This was my 1st time working w/this location. And I have to say my impression is that they’re rude, unorganized, lack customer care skills and are unprofessional.I’m shocked & deeply disappointed on how I was treated. I felt the need to share this with everyone because I didn’t expect for them to waste my time like this. It is unacceptable behavior.The only other option I have now is to contact other temp agencies.

I tried to work with Your Staffing Solutions and they wanted me to shovel snow for $9!!!!!! They called me and asked if I would go to this other job, not what I was looking for, I said yes. I am now hired on with this company and I need to take a test for Excel, I had already done that through Elwood and they just forwarded over to my new company. I applied for a job on Indeed posted by Elwood Staffing. I was contacted about a day later asking if I would like to come in for an interview, to which I agreed. It was at 10am on a Friday, a solid two hours into my shift at the job I have now. After getting half of my shift covered, and driving 25 minutes across town to get to the interview location, I didnt even make it past the secretary. I told her I am here for a 10am interview and what the position was, and they told me flat out that the position was filled already.To say I was annoyed is an understatement. It was almost humiliating to have not only been mildly encouraged by the fact I had finally gotten an interview after weeks and weeks of job hunting, but to have gone out of my way to get my shift covered at work, dress up, and drive almost a half hour to the interview to just be turned away. Probably one of the most unprofessional things Ive ever experienced. Why I wasnt given a notice that the position was filled BEFORE I arrived ready to interview is beyond me. The funniest part to me is that in the confirmation text they sent me regarding the interview they told me to please let us know ahead of time if you need to cancel/reschedule. It makes me laugh that apparently that courtesy is asked for but not reciprocated.Long story short, lost 3 hours of pay for having to get my shift covered at work, drove 25 minutes to speak to a secretary, and completely wasted my time. Maybe your experience will be different, but that was my first and LAST attempt at working with Elwood Staffing.
