We’ve used Terminix for years because of their excellent service and genuine product. Their technician, Danny, has been coming out and providing excellent customer service; and the product actually works! I haven’t seen a roach, spider or ant in my home for years. I cannot thank them enough for helping me live a bug free life!
I had a technician from Terminix come out to my home yesterday to spray the attic for Termites. The Tech, Troy F, was on time. I was super impressed with the way this young man conducted himself. He had the out most respect for me and for my home. He was super polite, professional and courteous. A total gentleman. He conducted himself in a very professional manner the whole time he was at my house. He was super at his job. Without a doubt this young man represents the company very well.Very well done young man. May God continue to bless you and yours always.Terminix should recognize this young man. Do NOT use this company. I would give negative stars if possible. My family and I have had a terrible experience. We discovered we had bed bugs in our house and called Terminix to treat it. The tech suggested tenting and fumigation to make sure the bed bugs were completely eliminated. We agreed and he gave us an appt 3 weeks away. The day of the tenting the crew shows up and they say due to the roof being too steep they would not be doing the tenting that day. They said they would come back the next day with a crane to finish the job. They did not show up the next day nor did anyone tell me what was going on. My family and I were staying at a hotel at this point over 20 miles away.Since they didnt do the job on either day, Ive tried reaching out to them to find out whats going on and the only person that has responded to me was the tech and he didnt know what was going on either. He let me know he had put in a request for them to call me but would be fired if he gave out supervisors or managers phone numbers. On the following Monday, a full 6 days after the tenting was supposed to happen the tech said he had to talked to his supervisor and they were only going to offer me a credit for the hotel and a future date of July 1st. A full 10 days away at that time and still charge me full price for the tenting and Id still have to pay for another hotel. I have a number of animals (goats, chickens and a cockatoo) that live outside on my property and I had to go back each day to give them food and water. They offered nothing in regards to the inconvenience of having to drive 20 miles each way (there are no hotels close to my house) to get back to my house to take care of them and basically wasted 3 nights at a hotel for nothing. No tenting or fumigation and I still have bed bugs.Terminix management has made no effort to contact me directly and have made it impossible to get ahold of them.

Between the mosquitos and the spiders I couldnt use my pool and patio area. Terminix made my space usable again!
Kandi Mummert, a total professional. She came on a regular appointment and, being her usual thorough self, discovered white-footed ants headed up the steps for my home. Hundreds of dead ants the next two days, now the rain has removed the carcasses. Yea Kandi.
They come and spray inside and out every three months which keeps the bugs away.Occasionally I will have an ant problem and they come right away at no charge.
Derrick was very professional and explained that gel was our best option to rid us of the insects. We appreciate his efforts!!

I use terminix for my pest control needs because they are reputable, professional, dependable and really have good customer service. Most of all, my service technician is very thorough and professional. I live in the tropics so pest control services are a MUST. Ive never had to complain about any services, communication, or professionalism.
DONT BE A VICTIM, they overcharged my credit card and theres no one who can give you an explanation or a solution. They play with you and keep you on the phone for hours and finally hang up on you. Obviouslya very dishonest people running this company. BE CAREFUL, DONT BE A VICTIM

Have rarely seen a bug inside since hiring Terminix to do external spraying on a routine basis.
My experience was not that great. I have been told that the outside of the home has been sprayed while I was gone. Camera footage shows otherwise. I was charged a fee after my contract was over even after telling the technician not to schedule the service. Dont trust their money back guarantee, that is all bogus. Their call center will be quick to drop your call and not return it. It is all good and smooth If you are a good paying customer. In the end it all depends on the technician who services your home. If the technician is new and have no experience. You might as well do it yourself. They are good on informing when they are coming and punctual at most of time.

Trick you into a contract for monthly spray for termites. They’ll never actually kill them. You have to get the house tented . They discourage you from getting the tent. They rather you pay them monthly for a treatment that doesn’t work. Termites come back after every treatment.

Had some ants trying to take over our kitchen. They never showed up to eliminate the problem.
Much like others on some reviews, I too had the same unsatisfactory service from them with the Exclusions, too which I overpaid and no rodents were ever caught. The specific local inspector (Alfredo) came out and gave me an estimate and said that I had a rat problem and the technician (Steve) that came out said theres no way to tell if the rodent problem was recent or if it was 9 months old. I dont blame the technician, I am discontent with the inspector and the leaders. I Spoke with and left messages for Tara, one of the local supervisors and also the area service manager (Justin) with no response or follow-up. Long story short, no rodents were ever caught and they constantly missed appointments to which was not my fault, since I was always available. Anyways, I paid for a 2 year contract for the exclusions and I even tried to give them another shot with their pest control, which did not help for the ants externally. I had to go around after the technician came out and knock down mod boggers on my own and spray for the ants myself to mitigate my ant problem. Needless to say, I am an unsatisfied customer and disappointed due to their poor quality control and customer service. Do not procure their services, use a local company instead since as long as they get paid 1st, they dont care about you afterwards. I have tried countless times to have your company come back to my home to rectify the situation and unfortunately your company has not done so. I have also made multiple attempts to retrieve my money back but to no avail. I am requesting a refund for the services that were paid to your company and those services were not complete. Your companies modo is, 100% percent satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, I am not satisfied with your services and you will see why below.On May 8, 2020, a technician from Terminix by the name of Sean did the initial general pest control inspection in my home. Sean sprayed I some stuff inside the house and put 2 traps in the attic for rats as he found a big problem with rats in the attic. He also found evidence of termites as well. I asked him out of both problems (rats & termites) which should I handle first because I can’t afford both at the same time. He stated the rats was the biggest problem out of both. So, he then called I think it was his manager another Terminix technician named Steven.Steven inspected the house took pictures & video; he then began to tell me that I have a big & bad problem with rats in the attic. He then informed me of the rat exclusion and costs. I let him know I could not afford it at that time. He began to see what he can do for me with the price and he got it down to $875.00. I agreed and signed the Rodent Exclusion Service Plan on May 13, 2020. That day I got a copy of the Rodent Exclusion Service Plan and Home Pest Inspection report. From May to July, Steven and I stayed in contact with each other scheduling and re-scheduling the date the rodent exclusion was to be done (texts between him & I attached pgs.1-8).On July 15, 2020, a technician from Terminix by the name of Felix came over and preformed an unsatisfactory service for the rodent exclusion. I was not home at the time the rodent exclusion was done but I was on the phone with my husband and expressed to the technician where the areas of my concern are.On July 18, 2020, a technician from Terminix by the name of Gilbert came over at 8:45am but I was not home as mentioned in texts that I am only available in the afternoons. No inspection of the outside of the home was done as the home is fenced in and technician has no access to enter without a key.Then on July 24, 2020 I text the technician Steven (pg.9), as I was told to do if I have any problems and asked him when someone was coming back as there were areas that was not meshed and I felt the 2 rat traps that were set in the attic was not sufficient for my HUGE rat problem. He responded and said he agreed with me, that was the kind of quality control he needed to hear. I called them after my initial treatment to respond to a balance owed email. I wanted to arrange payment. After calling 4 times and listening to canned “your business is important to us” recording for 5-10 minutes each time, I finally gave up. But, this is typical Florida ethic.

I moved into a rental property and found out about two days later that there was a flea infestation in the carpet. obviously freaked out I called terminix at like 5 in the morning not even thinking about normal business hours. it didnt matter though I was able to get a hold of a customer service representative who was extremely friendly also knowledgeable of the services that would be provided. They were able to someone out to me the same day. Andrew arrived ahead of time and he was friendly, quick, and knew exactly what we should do following our service. They also provide a service where you pay quarterly and if you ever have a problem in between they will come out free of charge!! I will never switch companies because I am getting everything I need here!

Call center is in the Philippines. Could not talk to a local office. Mom has a termite service contract if damage from termites is found they will repair. Permits are hanging at house with contractor chosen by Terminex is ready to go and Terminex is is no saying they are not going to pay.

I am beyond upset. This is the first time I have EVER typed a review, good or bad, but this is too much. The company charged me 94.50 to spray my townhouse on the inside. Promised then they would come out whenever I need them and I would be billed every other month. Sure enough, bugs came back in two weeks so I had them come out again. I told them I worked til 5:00 and to come after 5:15, they said fine. I get home theres a note on my door, the guy came at 5:04! He sprays the outside of my house. I dont have a contract for the outside only the inside. (MY HOA does the outside. Get up two days later... Another 94.50 charge. I have been calling every day for the last three days. Rude, on hold forever, wont help me. Told me a manager would call.... I am still waiting.Signed,Out $188.00 and still have bugs! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I have known many good service technicians; but my current Tech - Casey is outstanding.Casey personally text me every month in advance of his service, He also texts me when he completes the service. In both cases, he cares enough about the Homeowner (me - David Atterholt #107) to ask if I have any particular issues that need addressed for his service. He demonstrates a very professional attitude, and is always courteous. Most importantly, Casey conveys to me, that he cares about My issue, and wants to solve it.Casey is simply Outstanding. I met with the Terminix inspector, we made the deal, he spoke with the technician in front of me and confirmed arrival at my house at 1PM, we were supposed to leave the house for 3-4 hours after treatment, I arranged for my elderly mother to be picked up at 1PM and brought back to the house at 5PM (allowing the necessary time). However, no one showed up at my house at 1:00PM, I called the 800 number, I was transferred to the office near my residence, spoke to a supervisor (Dennis) who claimed that all appointment are made within a 3 hour window, meaning someone will be at my house between 1pm and 4pm, I reminded him that the inspector spoke with the technician in front of me and it was confirmed that the technician will arrive at 1pm (I was there next to the inspector when he repeated You will be here at 1PM? and the inspector nudged his head confirming the time, but Mr. Dennis refused to accept this explanation and he said that he will have the inspector call me. I received a call from the inspector soon after, and when I reminded him of his confirmation to me, he was speechless and apologized, I asked him to cancel the service and refund my money since I dont have a way of keeping my elderly mother outside of the house past 5pm, the inspector then asked to call me back in 5 minutes, he called back, and said that someone will be there by 2pm, I waited until 2:30pm and no one showed up, I call again and was promised that someone will be there by 3:00pm, no one showed up, I called again and now he said that he is on his way. The Technician arrived at 3:30pm, this was unacceptable since my mother had no way to leave the house, I called UBER and had her picked up (cost me additional money) and return her back at home at 7pm as instructed by the technician. On another issue, I requested that Terminix provide me with a 90 day guaranty, the inspector accepted on the condition that I purchase a set of mattress and pillow covers, despite the fact that he saw that I already have two sets of these covers in my bedroom since there were two beds in there. I explained to him that these covers are very expensive ($60 per piece x 4, 2 for box springs and 2 for mattress plus $20 per pillow x 4) but he insisted that I must purchase the $180 set from Terminix which would only be good for one bed (doesnt make any sense) but I agreed just so that I get the 90 day guaranty. When the technician arrived with the new set of mattress cover, he saw that I have all the mattresses and box springs already encased with my covers and stated that my covers are better than the ones he was providing. I contacted the inspector and explained to him this finding he said he was going to call the supervisor (Dennis) and see what he can do, he called me back in 15 minutes to tell me that Dennis refused to offer guaranty unless I purchase the covers from Terminix. I accepted and made the purchase.This was a very unprofessional service, and projected that Terminix only cares about charging extra for items that were not needed. I do not recommend or use their services in the future, and I am posting this feedback on all social media so that everyone knows how they operate. I am sorry but a professional organization like Terminix should at the least be honest with their customers. Thank you.
For anyone looking for termite protection, I advise that you look elsewhere. I had a drywood termite treatment (tenting) performed using Terminix 14 years ago. A major factor in deciding to use them was that I thought that, being a large company, they would stand behind their warranty and retreat/repair any future infestations as promised in their warranty. THIS WAS A BAD ASSUMPTION. I have now been fighting termites for the past 4-5 years. I have seen the droppings, the live termites, the wings in my screens, damaged wood, etc. but can get no retreatment or repair from them. They always follow the same script – when we call them about a new location where termites have been spotted, they first send a technician to inspect and make sure we’re telling the truth. Then that technician will promise to send someone else who will treat the area. IF the next technician shows up (and quite often they don’t), he proceeds to spot treat the area with foam. In a couple of months, when we see the next area of droppings, etc. we repeat the same steps. My wife has spent countless hours trying to speak to someone higher up in an attempt to get more effective level of treatment but has gotten nowhere. I took time off yesterday to meet with the technician at my house. When I reviewed his report today, it actually said “no activity.” This is total BS. Since 2014, we have had Terminix come to our house 20 times (this is recorded in my online account). Still, they refuse to do anything other than spot treat with foam. When we found live termites and an area that needed repair, they didn’t cover the costs of repair. Instead, they merely waived our annual fee for the next year. So anyone looking into Terminix because you THINK they have a good warranty, look elsewhere. You need to find a good local company that will stand behind their work. Terminix is NOT that company. Terminix is too big and doesn’t care about its customers or its warranties.
Absolutely horrible!!!!If I could give 0 star, I would. I dont know how this place is still under the same management. I called almost every day for the past 3 weeks to schedule a check due to termite droppings around the house. 2 months ago they ensured me that all termite issues have been resolved but apparently not!! Very unprofessional. Cant share enough bad experiences. Really hope Headquarters will do something about it.
Will never use Terminix again...had German roaches for over two years and for most of that time, had roaches EVERY evening in the kitchen...finally got fed up and told them that I would no longer pay for their service as long as the roach problem persisted...still cant believe I gave them over 2 years to resolve the issue! I told the service rep, the local mgr, two local service managers, the national contact that called almost daily when the bill was supposedly past due that I was NOT paying for a service that was not working...they continued providing service under those conditions and when the problem was close to being resolved (after approx. 27 months!) I told them I would be willing to resume payments...but I was NOT paying for the time period reflected in the balance due...they refused to waive that amount even though they had been told I was not paying. They sent the $268.80 bill to collections. We obviously no longer use Terminix and suggest you dont either. What kind of pest control company takes over 2 years to resolve a roach problem? ZERO integrity...didnt even mention the two appointments that managers set up and never showed or the dust treatment that covered all our silverware and utensils in our drawers whenever they treated...have new service company...no more roach problem...took 2 treatments

They never did their job according to their contract. Never showed up, didn’t properly close any entre/ exit point, cause damage to my home from improper use of equipment. Management at all levels, from home office to their region director did not acknowledge nor even rectify the issues or damage. Terminix is not qualified to be listed as a pest service company abd only causes excess damage to your home.

On Tuesday 11/15/2017, I was disturbed by a knock on the door by an ill-kempt moron on a skateboard who asked me if I were the Queen of the Castle. Get a clue, Terminix. Youre outdated and irrelevant. Now Tru-Green got my business because they sent someone out who was knowledgeable and respectful. You could take a page from their playbook.

Used to be good but downhill service
Ever since I started using terminix, they somehow cant seem to keep my number on file. They continue to call my girlfriend after I told them to call me. Last sunday they left a message on my girlfriends number saying they would be out in Monday for quarterly service. I called early Monday morning to reschedule, and the tech still came out. I called and told them the tech still came, the rep I spoke to told me if he did any work that day after i had rescheduled that they would credit my account. My girlfriend was home and said the guy had knocked and then left. Thursday I was charged 79 for service. I called them and told them that service had not been done, and I had been charged. The rep told me that he stated he sprayed outside, and that they would not refund me because my appointment was set for the coming weekend. I told her about the account credit the rep had told me I would get if he did work, they said they would not give it to me and that the rep had lied. So not only had the tech lied, the rep had lied, and when it was only said and done the rescheduled appointment was not at the right time. That saturday he showed up late for appointment by 45 mins. The manager who the rep promised would call me has not yet. The tech typically do their jobs, but this experience was ridiculous. Their motto is they will only charge you if you are satisfied with service, but once they do, they refuse to speak to you or resolve an issue. The customer service is horrible.
