My wife went to get her nails done and it was $30, she tipped generously and woke up to extra charges and the wrong change back, very disappointing because she loves her nails
If I could give a lower rating I would! This was my very first time coming here and the woman who did my pedicure was very unprofessional! You can tell she rushed and did not put any effort into what she was doing. She did not speak or interact with me in a friendly manner. Not welcoming at all. My 10 year old niece could’ve done what she did. They also sneaked in other charges without informing me before they started. I will never again spend my money here. Horrible service!! Do not waste your time. Go somewhere else!
I tried to make an appointment and the lady on the phone was rude and then she hung up on me as I was talking and they wanna charge $100 for gel
Clean and doing a great job with social distancing. Professionals who do excellent work and quickly!
My review is mixed. I had been going to the same day spa since 2005, on and off, but a gift card offered me the opportunity to try out Silk Nails. The first two times my manicure lasted over a week. The third and fourth times the manicure lasted barely three days. It really depends, I think, who is doing the manicure. I had the same technician during my first two manicure visits, and different technicians during the third and fourth manicure visits. My pedicure was nice. I enjoyed the stone massage and the heel treatment. However, they charged me more at Silk Nails for a spa pedicure than the day spa I normally frequent. Interesting. Anyway, I thought that Silk Nails would become my go-to place for nails, but, due to the poor quality of the third and fourth manicures, it will not. The salon is large, and clean, with many technicians, and very flexible scheduling. I was treated with courtesy and professionalism during each visit, from the moment I entered to the moment I departed. Phone interactions were also professional and courteous. The neck and back massages at the end of the manicure or pedicure are a nice treat, and the four technicians that served me all perform wonderful hand, neck and foot massages. There is a large selection of nail colors - mostly OPI - but the products they use as base and top coats may need to be upgraded in order to create longer-lasting durability for the manicure. The technicians seem to operate on piecework, as the manicure is completed in less than 30 minutes. They dont believe in a lot of filing down of the nails. In fact, one technician on my third visit asked if I wanted my nails cut down. I told her no, just file them down. They dont really clean underneath the nail very well to remove the cuticle build-up, and they dont do a thorough job of removing calluses during pedicures. All of this to say: This is a great place to go if one wants a quick manicure for a special event, as the cost for a basic manicure is currently $13.00. As a go-go regular nail salon? No, at least not for me. I am now back at my former day spa, and, my nails - hands and feet - look and feel the way they should.
Great place to go and relax. The staff are very helpful, warm, and they make you feel comfortable. The work is done to your liking. I have going there since the shop has been in existence, and the service, the atmosphere continually changes for the better. Those other reviews must be from some disgruntled people. I will add my name for authentication. John Dyson
They scammed me out of 60. Told me over the phone a gel pedicure would be 35 dollars and then when i get there they begin doing massages and adding oil other things just to upcharge me 30 dollars !! And then the nail specialist began to ask me for a tip. Absolutely terrible.
Did not feel welcome here. The person who did my manicure was very rude to me. I thought it was just in my head until my friend who was with me also said something about it. She would get easily frustrated if my hand wasn’t in a certain position and would keep sighing. I don’t know if I will return.
Worst experience i’ve had at a nail salon, they booked my an appointment at 5:30, i got there 5 minutes early, then they rushed through my whole pedicure, didn’t even clean my feet off properly or scrub them. she stood over my shoulder until i gave her a tip and didn’t give me a back massage like they gave every one else i saw in there. They continued to clean up around me and rushed me out of the door before my toes were even dry and said they are wet, be careful. never going back!
Amazing service and quality, very clean and friendly staff. By far the best manicure I have ever gotten between Connecticut and New Jersey 👍🏻
Always have a great experience here! Usually come here a few times a year, always great service and the ladies are nice. Make an appt as they are usually busy.
Service is top notch great atmosphere, but so are the prices. There is no price board so you never know what your going to pay. I just got hit with a $150 bill for a pedi and full gel set. Then when I tipped the ladies smugged.
Love this salon, always professional. Longest lasting gel manicure of the several places I go.
First and last time, For a French pedicure that is was done in 10 minutes, gel color in my nails $96.00 dollars.. Too price it. Plus in top of that they ask you for tips😡.
Would recommend, service very friendly and helpful.
My lady likes them
