My friend and I took a chance on this nail salon right before going back to school. We went in early on a Sunday. Right off the bat, they made each of us sit in seats on the opposite of the EMPTY shop, despite arriving together. They did not communicate much with us, hardly asking what we wanted. I asked for an oval shape and was ignored. The nails are uneven and the designs are not close to what we asked for. Mine was done sloppily and my friend’s isnt remotely similar to her reference. Her nail tech claimed to have accidentally deleted the picture and proceeded to paint a different design. They had their own conversation the whole time, and laughed (seemingly at us) which made us feel awkward. My friend’s nail tech was also switched out about 3 times, despite the shop once again being empty aside from us. It was unsanitary. My friend and I were hardly able to have our own conversation, and were forced to basically sit the hour in uncomfortable silence. When it came to price I was told my nails were $49 and they asked me to pay in cash. I gave them $60 and was generous enough to offer a $10 tip, which they made me pay on my card, without giving me change. Meaning, they basically stole $11 of mine. Won’t be going back, too bad we’re both too nice to speak up.

I went for a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was half done I have rough patches of dry skin on the bottom of my foot then I get home and realize my pinky toe on my right foot was never painted. The manicure was fine but the polish is bumpy and it’s runny at the ends. I paid $95. I feel like there are other places that can do a better job for much less than almost $100. If you’re going to be charging people these prices, you need to be GOOD at what you do.Update. It hasn’t even been a week and my “gel” manicure is peeling. STRONGLY encourage you not to waste your money here

I definitely won’t be back!!!! The lady talked on her phone the entire I was getting a manicure. I went with my best friend and I was getting my nails painted and she would not talk to me at all she would only talk to my friend. My friend said “she wants this color” and the rude lady looked at my friend in the most disgusting way. I am a trans- women that uses she/her pronouns it is not your job to pass judgment your job is to do my nails. My friend said she will not ever go there again and she is very known in the Hartford area and she said none of her friends will be back either. If you want a rude/ unprofessional nail please visit other wise stay far from them!!!! Definitely not trans friendly!!!!!!

Will not go back … ever … not clean at all .. saw one lady use dirty tools and just place them back in a “sanitized bag” for next use … tried to explain how I wanted my nails shapes … I was ignored … when my gel fill was done finished the nail tech just got up and walk to the register leaving me at the chair … about 30 seconds later she yelled over …hey you done ! Come here! Unprofessional

I would not recommend this place even if someone wants to get everything done along with the shopping at mall. I did a big mistake visiting this place and getting things done at one spot. I went there to take off my acrylic nails and get gel paint on my natural nails. 1) She used some kind of knife to take of the acrylic, which gave me so much pain during that process and that pain even got worst after everything was done and continued for some more days. I could see the internal bruises on top of my nails before applying color and I could also feel the deep pain when I was lightly pressing my nails. The lady sitting next to me got very nervous looking at me in crazy pain. In addition, that service provider acted like it is very common and believed that it was completely alright and continuously smiling/laughing. On the contrary, I never gone through such bad pain ever before at any of the other nails spots and never thought that this process could be that torturous. 2) They told me different price over the phone for the service that I mentioned, when I called to make an appointment. And, after going through this pain I had to pay more and due to which I did not even care to add the tip. 3) I have been told to choose another color just because she lost the bottle of the color I chose first or did not remember where she kept when removed from the shelf. I forced myself to put on some different color then. I wasn’t happy with the results. 4) the layer of the paint was quite rough, thick, and not consistent. I could see the irregular shapes of some nails due to the inconsistency in application of paint. Moreover, I could see the crack on some of my nails on the next day of the service.

They were clean, friendly, and did an excellent job. I would go back again.

TERRIBLE!!!!! Polish was applied bumpy and started peeling after 1 day. THATS RIGHT, ONE DAY!!!!!! Went back and refused refund. Salon also dirty. Found an earwig on my chair!! All nails were uneven. Never going back. Paid 60 dollars for terrible service.

Not pleased with service. Feet doesn’t feel like I even got pedicure done and nails are not perfected. French pedi did not look right when was first done by nail tech and manager had to come and fix them. A simple French. And nails were not perfected. Not all of them were even. Won’t go there again.

I went there Yesterday for the first time. My tech was amazing the Spa Pedicure was amazing. She also did my nails beautifully.The price was great for the work done. Definitely will be returning . I highly recommend

My nail technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had an incredible experience! I’m very picky but I was very pleased with how she shaped my nails square and did a thorough job painting the full nail. I will definitely go back!

My friends and I came here on a whim. I can say that I am nothing but pleased with my experience. There were multiple workers to care for the customers. My friends and I all got acrylics and were pleased with the outcome. The nail technicians were very pleasant and engaged in conversation.

My gel manicure started peeling after 1 day. I went back the next day and they didn’t do a great job once again. There was a crack on the nail polish on my thumb nail and all the lady did was paint over it making it very uneven and ignored me when i asked her to fix it. They did not use any new supplies everything was used and dirty. They refused to give me a refund.

Over charged me for a simple job, Gel polish was requested on toes and hands, Lied about being busy, Called first and was told to make appointment, Walked in and was seated immediately and had nails and feet done, At first color looked good then after further expecting at home noticed smudged and streaks etc, I wouldn’t recommend this spot if on budget and simple job, Too expensive and the job wasn’t worth all that They charged $80 gel polish on toes and feet, I could’ve bought a kit from Walmart and handled or went elsewhere and received a pedi and mani and tipped and wouldn’t have been $80+ smh never again!

I don’t recommend at all my friend and I went and the store owner did her nails and they are all sloppy and bumpy and a sheer coating as well. These are gel nails by the way. While he was cutting her cuticles she started bleeding and there was no discount not even an apology! While I was getting my nails done the nail technician didn’t even cover the whole nail and they are all bumpy. DO NOT GO THERE! We paid $76 all together (For the both of us) and it was NOT worth it (tip was $2 because we are nice). Also, if I could give this 0 stars I would!

Worse pedicure I have ever got! Was rushed and not gentle. I asked for massage and didn’t even get a scrub. Was over priced $50. Waste of time and money. Now I have to get a pedicure somewhere else and spend more time and money. Not right!

I dont know what salon these other girls went to who gave a bad rating but it was clearly not the same salon Ive visited! It was a very pleasant experience, all of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and my nails and toes came out perfect! Will definitely be visiting again, five out of five!

Inconsistent and unsanitary.I feel like whenever you read reviews on nail places theres always one person who says its unsanitary, but this is no exaggeration.Ive been coming to Nail Tique for a while and Im almost always happy with the result but today I went for a pedicure and the girl doing it rushed and did a very mediocre/sloppy job on a French pedicure.But on top of that I noticed on the disposable flip flops they give you there was stains of nail polish on them from another pedicure, obviously theyve been used before which is disgusting. It makes me wonder what else they re-use...I wont be going back. If youre getting a pedicure I suggest going anywhere else.

JENNY IS AMAZING, she’s so good she did my nails as if I had press on’s, on! Filed to perfection as well as a wonderful paint job, coving all angles of my nail, with a nice layer of acrylic thin enough to look natural without breaking. I got a Spa Pedicure. I didnt feel very pampered, which is why I get pedicures. There are plenty of other nail salons.

I’ve been a customer for 6 years now and wouldn’t trust any other place with my nails! All the techs are highly experienced and you are paying for quality nails.

They charge you to cut your acrylic nails! Isnt that part of the process?? Nails grow. Its science. Why am I paying for what should be included? NO WHERE else charges for it. Ridiculous.

Was first customer of the day at this typical Mall salon. Had a regular pedicure that was fine...shop was clean, staff was competent. I would go back if, as in this case...I was in a hurry and just needed basic services.

This was the WORST place Ive ever been to in my life. Id suggest letting my two year old sister do my nails before Id let anyone I know walk into this place. To put it politely.

DO NOT GO TO!!!! The store owner did my nails (gel manicure): sloppy application, sheer coating (after 3 layers) my nails are bumpy and HE MADE MY CUTICLE BLEED. No discount, and not even an apology. I came with a friend, and he didnt even sit us next to each other. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I’ve gone there multiple times in hopes that the next experience would be better. For the amount of money I’m coughing up for a full set acrylic with jell polish it’s so not worth it. She did my nails way too big for my fingers, then for my refill they fell off within less than a week after paying $40 that’s a problem! I honestly won’t go there again.

Worst experience ever! I went to get my gel Manicure done 3 times before I judge. Both 3 times was so BAD tech are rude and unprofessional. Last Thursday I went and got my gel Manicure done and I told a tech that is not a color I picked and she just ignored me and continue to do my nails. My nails color came off on a 3rd days🙁. I wouldnt go back there ever again, I dont mind paying $45 if they do a good job with a good customer service. I dont want to give any⭐, because it was that bad.

They often do an good job, but when its busy they rush through your nails and you end up with 2 or 3 nails looking different from the rest.

I was there on March 12th with a friend. We made appointments earlier that day but were made to wait for 10 minutes upon arrival. My gel manicure was polished very poorly, specifically, on one nail, only two-thirds of the nail was polished, and the nail polish was not smooth on top, it was rough to the touch. My friend asked repeatedly to have her fingernails filed with a rounded shape and not pointy but ended up with pointy shaped nails. Neither of us will return there. The place seemed unclean as well. Lastly, they charged $35 for a gel manicure. That was a bit overpriced by about $5.

The male nail tech was so rude and his work was awful. My nails look a mess, I asked him to fix the glitter Polish because it felt like sandpaper and he gave me an attitude. The shape and size of the nails are not consistent and I would never go back. Please do not waste your money.

Nail tech was professional but the price was high for the environment and experience. The walls need paint badly but the manicure was fine. The only drawbacks--very limited nail polish selection and they only take cash for tip, so I had to leave to find the ATM then come back, way more effort than Id hoped.

Before visiting Nail Tique, I came across several negative reviews about this salon on Google reviews and Yelp, but as always, I wanted to give it a try for myself; even if it seems easier and more convenient to judge based on reviews. Honestly, Im so glad I kept an open mind and went. First of all, their prices are so beyond reasonable. I got a full set acrylic manicure for only $27! Thats half, even a third of the price at other salons Ive gone to. Their prices are unbeatable. Second of all, the manicurist did such a phenomenal job, and so did the manicurist at the station next to mine. I love how my acrylics came out. And she was so fun to talk to! I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned the space, but thats not their fault. Theyre a small business inside Westfarms Mall, they have no control over the size of their location. Once youre sitting down and getting your nails done, space is not an issue. Also, if you find that they have a low selection of nail polish colors (which I disagree with), bring in your own next time you visit! I definitely recommend Nail Tique to anyone looking for a nail salon. I will certainly be returning.

Called the nail shop before hand to see if I could walk in. Arrived an hour and a half before closing and waited close to closing to be accommodated. Although I was next to get my nails done, nail techs allowed someone else to cut in front and go before me. Needless to say, I walked out after wasting an hour and a half of my time

This salon is unorganized, unprofessional and has the longest wait time of any salon I have been to. The last time I was here, it took forever to complete the service. I said I would not come back. But never again.

Paid $51 for them to give me horribly shaped coffin nails which aren’t even long! They’re medium length. Went back to get them fixed and they still didn’t look that great.
