The staff up front are the sweetest!! Always has a smile and an inviting face.She calls to confirm your appointment in advance and calls to remind you the day of. The dental assistant( with red hair) she is so sweet and nice, made me feel less anxious and more comfortable. The dentist who works on me is very informative, gentle and thorough. The location of the office is convenient, close to the highways and on a major road with a bus line located within minutes. The office is located in a plaza where you can clothes, food have your nails done, buy a phone & more. The only thing I found unsettling was ant/roach traps visible in the exam areas. Im sure the building gets ants like any other or is taking precaution since I NEVER seen so much as a fly, I personally just found it gross as my mind went straight to cockroaches and made my skin crawl lol. I would recommend this office.

I was initially impressed by the service of this office until my fill-in cracked 5 days later. Nope... I didn’t eat on the tooth. Actually ate on the opposite side, yet I tasted the resin material used and felt the fill-in moving back and forth. It’s only a matter of time before the piece falls completely out! LAnd here I am anticipating approval for the service of “crowning” from my dental carrier. I don’t think so...

I would recommend Dr. Forum, and her staff Jennifer and Bruno to anyone. I found them via Google search by chance and it turned out to be such a BLESSING. Dr. Forum and her staff were compassionate and so patient. This is definitely a great dentistry for any one who has a fear of dentists. Best dentist ever. The front desk staff and dental assistants are so kind, and the dentist (I believe her name is Dr. C, I’m terrible with names) is equally phenomenal. She takes her time with you and has great bedside manner. She always tells me exactly what she’s doing and what we need to do going forward. She even called me on a Saturday after a procedure to ask how I was recovering.Additionally, I usually have to bring my 6 year old with me and Dr. C always chats with him while she’s working on my teeth. The front desk staff gave him a coloring book to keep him occupied throughout my visit, and then Dr. C gave him THREE toys when he left PLUS a toothbrush and toothpaste, and he isn’t even her patient. I always know I am going to receive exceptional care at this location and as long as I live in the area I will continue to come here for all my dental needs.

I love this dental office! Every single employee is kind, considerate and caring. Dr. Forum had incredible skill! She is the only dentist Ive ever had that I can sit in that chair, close my eyes, and just relax while she works. Her assistant, Bruno, its such a sweetheart and always a joy to chat with. Plus hes got such a gentle hand while working. Jen, who is at the front desk, is super efficient and on point in everything she does. I actually enjoy going to the dentist because of this team. They work so seamlessly together which makes the experience that much better!! I highly recommend❤️

They made my experience wonderful! Dr. Forum, Bruno and Jennifer were fantastic! Dr. Forum explained what she had to do and why. By the end of my visit I was well informed and I now feel a lot more comfortable about my upcoming appointment.

I was not impressed. I will say I didn’t see Dr. Forum so maybe that’s the difference. The only reason I’m writing this review is because they called me after I went there and left them a bad review via their text message to me and then they called me trying to schedule a new appointment and told me they would have to call me back and then they never did. Don’t call someone unless you actually plan on rectifying the situation or at least attempting to. Long story short I was there for exactly an hour almost to the minute and in that time I filled out paperwork had X-rays done, waited 8 minutes, then had a “cleaning” and a small cavity filled. The cleaning was a joke the doctor didn’t floss my teeth, pick at them at all, just scrubbed them with the scrubber. Basically, the doctor brushed me teeth. He barley introduced himself and didn’t even give me an update on my teeth and this was after almost two years of not seeing a dentist. I will say front staff was VERY pleasant and sweet even when they called me about my review. They need to inform this doctor how a proper cleaning goes... would not go back.

I had a great experience at the Dr. Dental in West Hartford. I highly recommend it to anyone like me who hasnt been to a dentist in years because of fear and financial reasons. Dr. Chughtai and all the staff were wonderful! Dr. Chughtai was very professional with gentle hands and a warm personality. All of the staff were also professional and friendly. If you havent been to a dentist in years, what are you waiting for? Dr. Dental is the place for you!

Went there to have dentist look at tooth that was bothering me. He gave me his honest opinion and told me to get second opinion from a endo first and if not he would redo the filling. He sounded pretty professional and it all only cost me $35 for the evaluation.

I had a dental emergency and I called at 5:00 pm, they got me in that same day at 6:30pm. Emergency visits the day of that late in the day are nearly unheard of, it was greatly appreciated. The whole staff was friendly too. Would definitely recommend

Dr. Forum is one of the best dentists I have ever experienced in the greater Hartford area. I had the bad luck of needing the services of dentists in the past 50 years, and none had Dr. Forums expertise, attention to detail, efficiency, and concern. No wonder, since after receiving her doctors degree from India, she had to start all over again at NYU when she immigrated to the US. The rest of the staff, receptionists and assistances, are equally competent. Thank you Dr. Forum and Dr. Dental from the bottom of my heart.

Horrible scheduling. Believe any review that you see about their horrible scheduling. This is my second time bringing my daughter for a cleaning and having to return back without any dental service. The first negative experience I received was when my daughter was schedule for a 5pm appointment a month in advance. When I showed up to her appointment, receptionist said they tried to contact me that same day to reschedule her appointment for earlier time. That was a lie as there were no miss calls from them which I showed the receptionist who also verified that they have my correct number on file. There was no voicemail or missed call. Also it’s very unprofessional to force a client to change their appointment time the same day when it was booked a month in advance. My second horrible experience happened today. They said they sent text alert to confirmed appointment time (which they never done before for my prior appointments). They also did not attempt to call to confirm if I received the alert or to even inform me that this is their new procedure and that even though I booked the appointment directly with them that I needed to additionally respond to a text alert because they will cancel my appointment without alerting me. This lack of communication resulted in me wasting my time there once again. Horrible experience. Dentist is nice and that was the only reason I went. This place however does not care or value their patients time. Look elsewhere for the care you deserve.

The whole staff was very polite and I had very fast service.

I avoid the dentist as much as I can so many negative experience. But when my tooth chipped a few weeks ago I knew I had to find someone to help me. I was super nervous and even cried at the office but IAM happy to report everything turned out fine. If you are nervous and scared like I am I have to tell you the dentist here is one of the best ones that I have met . She is very kind and explains everything that is about to happen. She checks up on you as the procedure is happening. Ive gone twice already my first for a filling and yesterday for a cleaning. She gives you all the time you need and even gives you a break if you get nervous . I would recommend her to anyone she is the best . Thanks again for helping me with my fears of dental procedures.

Took me and my 5 daughters... Never had such a pleasant experience. Im horrified of the dentist chair tbh.. i got 2 extractions no pain. Dentist and staff were patient and i mean very patient with me lol I was annoyed with myself LOL

The Doctor is great.... the scheduling is horrible... multiple times the scheduled appt time was changed just today my daughter’s appt which was scheduled for 1pm was changed after arriving at the office they said it was scheduled for 2pm after waiting an hour they adv they would need to reschedule for another day. I will Not be returning to this location.

My appointment was at 5, didn’t get a seat until about 520. Dentist did work on me until approximately 5:50pm ish . I suggest more dentist for the case load.

The doctor is great. The front desk staff is terrible. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE OR RETURN VOICEMAILS . They can never fit you in for emergencies. They always give you multiple appointments to fix the same problem. They will also cancel your appointment within a half hour of its scheduled time but expect you to give them 48 hours notice should you need to cancel. If the doctor fired the office staff and hired all new people That would make the practice better. They leave early for the day with out any notifications (even if their own out going message says they’ll be there until 7:30pm). Inconsiderate! There are plenty of other Dr Dentals, go to one of those.

I had such a great experience here! I was pretty nervous about going to the dentist again having not been in a long time. The staff was very caring and really wanted the best for myself and my teeth. They explained everything that they were doing and what treatments I had available. They were never condescending and they never made me feel bad about my oral health. I wish I knew the dental assistants name because she was very nice as well as my doctor. Both of those women took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable with the care I was to receive. Im very glad that I went and I plan to continue going for all my future dental needs. Thank you!

I had to wait for 2 1/2 hours for a scheduled cleaning at the West Hartford, Kane street office. The cleaning was so fast I wasnt even sure if the dentist finished my cleaning.I even had to ask the hygienist if he polished all my teeth because it was so fast. I normally go to the office in Bristol and have no issues at all I Will never go back.Annmarie

The experience wasnt what I expected. The service was excellent. The mannerism of the entire staff was great. The dentist, (Dr. M. @ Kane StPlaza) was fast, friendly and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Dental to anyone for first time dental needs, adults and children.

I have been to Dr. Dental in West Hartford a few times now for cleanings and fillings. The care is excellent and the dentist describes everything to you thats shes doing. She is very kind and the staff is very welcoming as you walk in. If the space they had was larger Id give them five stars. I couldnt imagine a larger family bringing children here. Its a smaller dental office in a plaza perfect for single people or parents with maybe 1 child. That said they do seem to try and accommodate for children as the have a miniature playground in the corner of the lobby. Again the space is small and the staff is small (always the same three - four people) but the professionalism is great and the hospitality.

Doctor was so personable and friendly, which really made me feel comfortable during my first visit. The receptionists and assistants were also very friendly and professional. Great price for my out of pocket payment, great first experience!

Once you actually get seen by the Dr., the experience is great. However, I have waited 25-40 minutes past my appointment’s start time to be seen. This is a real inconvenience + my absolute least favorite thing about any Dr.’s office. It’s a power play + poor time management. Please do not schedule so many patients for each time slot if you cannot manage your time better.Beyond that, I’m happy with Dr. Forum’s care and have recommended her to friends. I just wish the timing was better.

I would give it a five star but the waiting time is very long my appointment was at 2pm the dr didnt come into the room until 2:30. There should be more than one doctor dealing with patients. Thats my only concern is the wait time after being placed in a room this isnt the 1st or second time I had to wait past my appointment time.

Ive been here for a couple of routine cleanings, and my experience has been everything I could want in a dentist. Dr. Jobanputra is so pleasant to interact with, and it is clear that she has patient care in her soul; the dental assistants and receptionist are also quite friendly. This was my 2nd visit and Im still satisfied with my choice of dentists. My mouth is a disaster and Im horrible about needles but Ive never felt embarrassed about them or felt like a teaching moment coming here. Very relaxing, confident staff. Fast and flexible appointments. I have about 6 months left of work to be done, so Ill keep you posted if my experience happens to change. Wish me luck

I really like the female dentist at the West Hartford office. I dont really have her name on any of my paper work. She seems very dedicated and really has helped me as a patient. She seems to really care about doing the best for the patient and improving their teeth to the best of her ability.

I have a fair amount of dental anxiety/phobia and so it takes me a long time (years) to finally work up my resolve to go sit in the chair. A coworker told me about Dr Dental and then Yelp had a very high rating for the place. I’ve just finished my appointment and, besides the parts I already know I dislike, it was very pleasant. I felt that my feelings were respected. I was told what was going to happen. I was asked if I was comfortable and if I needed anything throughout my time. I’ve made my follow up appointment and will be returning regularly to keep my teeth clean and protected.

I actually had a great first visit. I have private insurance and they are great with providing a breakdown of what my patient portion would be. The dentist was very professional and friendly. She was also great at explaining my options regarding procedures I needed done. They were also very punctual. Barely had to wait. I will definitely recommend this office!Update: 3/31/2018While I still believe the staff is friendly, steer clear of this office. I had a lot of work done here because my mouth was a mess. Almost everything I had done, I had to get re-done by a more experienced dentist. I had a filling done there that fell out the next day, was re-filled, then I was told I needed a crown instead of the filling. The cleanings werent really cleanings. I’d still have plaque on my teeth. I also had a bridge done that cost about $4,000 that Im in the process of getting re-done at Advanced Dental Care in East Hartford where my bf goes. They fixed everything! Just be careful of going places that offer discounted services. Theres a reason theyre discounted.
