I dont often need alterations, so I was in search of a place in the area with a quick turnaround for a bridesmaid dress hem. Krystyna was super friendly and quick- I got it back a week later! The hem came out perfect, highly recommend her!

I brought a dress in to be taken in and the ladies at Sew Amazing did a great job! After they did the first alteration I brought it back and asked them to take it in a little more and they adjusted my dress free of charge! I would highly recommend Sew Amazing!!

Got my measurements done for the first time for my best friends wedding in October. I called them yesterday and the lady I spoke to was happy to fit me in as early as today despite the busy time of the year. I wont leave their names here but the two women there were lovely. They made the experience a pleasant one and if Im ever in need of their services again, I wont hesitate to go back. Thank you! p.s. love the name of the shop!

Brought my rental suit in for simple pant and jacket length alterations on Tuesday 5/11 which I needed for pickup the following Wednesday. She accepted the job (without any pressure by me) after lecturing me about how I did not make an appointment and the turnaround is usually 10 days, and I had only given her eight. Since the rental was delivered Saturday 5/8 and she is closed Sunday and Monday, I brought in the suit at the earliest possible time. The cost was $47 (pricey but was willing to oblige since I felt bad for the seemingly tight timeline) and pickup time was 4:35 on Wednesday 5/19 the following week. I hadn’t heard anything by Wednesday, the day of pickup, so I went in around noon because I was starting to get nervous. I was informed that it was “not the end of the day” and the suit was not ready. She asked if I could come back at 4:30 or 5. I was frustrated by needing to come back again but, since I was early, I agreed. I came back at 5 (the time the shop closes, i.e. end of the day), and the suit was still not ready. I informed her that I needed to get going as I had a lot of preparations to do before leaving on my trip, and would do the alterations on my own. As the best man for my friends wedding in two days, this put me in an unfortunate and disappointing situation. To add insult to injury, she removed the pins from my suit, so that I would need to re-do the measurements myself, left white marks on the fabric, and sparkles from the dress my suit sat next to, untouched, for the past 8 days.

I am a MOH in my best friends wedding coming up & I lost a significant amount of weight since buying my dress. I brought it in to Krystyna and she brought it in 6 inches and added padding to the breast area and made the dress look beautiful. Not to mention she was quick and very affordable. I’m so happy that I chose sew amazing and will be using her for the future!!!

I had a green and gold wedding anarkali that needed some minor adjustments in the bust and arms. Krystynas work was amazing! Shes such a pro at all sorts of alterations. I sent my (now) husband there for his suit alterations and my sister-in-law for her bridesmaid dress to be altered as well! All of us were so happy with our alterations and looked fantastic at the wedding. Her prices are also perfect, she works fast with a lot of care, and her personality is wonderful! She also told me that she even used to create wedding dresses! Krystyna made the entire experience fun and relaxing. Thank you again Krystyna! We really couldnt have asked for a better experience!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I had a suit I had just purchased which needed a few alterations fairly quickly. Not only was the staff here able to accommodate me, their alterations looked great. They were able to tailor the suit with a modern fit, and I couldnt be happier with the result. Their prices were fair, and I will definitely be back for any alterations I need in the future. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My dress for my daughters wedding was too tall Krystyna cut it so the lenght was good for me, she also did the bridesmaids dresses. This place was highly recommended. I will give her a five star.

Ive never written a review, so that in itself should speak to how highly I think of Krystyna. I do photoshoots and public appearances so fit and professionalism are very important to me; Im also extremely particular. Her work is flawless. She is highly knowledgable about garment construction and fabrics and knows just how to tailor something to fit you exactly. And her prices cant be beaten. If youre in Hartford county and need tailoring, this is the first and only place you should go!

Krystna is a master at alterations. I had bought a dress that needed major alterations and she re worked the entire thing so it fit my specific measurements. She is not cheap but her work is Exceptional and well worth the price not to have to worry and have the job done well the first time. I will be bringing all my business and my husbands to her in the future.
