Wasn’t satisfied with their charges for a shirt dress to be clean $25.00 and charged $2.,50 for the belt. This was my third visit, and mostly likely my last due to the fact, that I gave the young lady two wooden hangers, because I do not like my clothes on wire hangers. Upon receipt my white blouse and shirt dress was on wire hangers. Not happy with one of the young ladies services, upon taking my white shirt and shirt dress, I asked her how much would it cost to have my shirt dress cleaned, she could not answer my questions, I got tired of her typing on the computer to check what, I have no idea,. However, there is one young lady who is always pleasant and dressed professionally without sweat pants or looking as if she just rolled out of bed and wore whatever was convenient. She stepped in to help with the retrieving my wooden hangers when I asked the other young girl who was again dressed as if she rolled out of bed with locating my hangers. After trying to locate the hangers, I told the professional looking young lady, not to worry about it, I have more wooden hangers. Your manager, John is always a pleasure, the young girl who always looks professional is excellent and know your business and able to make decisions without keeping you waiting for long period of times. Unfortunately I can not say that about the other young lady who when I was in your establishment that took my order was not the same. Being disheveled.and not able to answer how much is it going to be to have a shirt dress cleaned is not knowing your product or company that you are representing. I needed a dress pressed. I called pass the time of drop off in order to get it the next day. However, the manager was nice enough to accommodate me. I dropped it off around 11:00 & was able to pick it up after 4:00 the same day! They even sent a text when it was ready 😊

Have been utilizing the services of French Cleaners for many, many years....They have completed alterations on gowns = perfection! Cleaning has been superb a couple (2) of glitches over 20+ years ....however each addressed and resolved. Their cleaning and care of Hermes scarves is amazing. Some of the older ones bleed and this has never happened with French Cleaners....Couture clothing is beautifully done.....

There was supposed to be a delivery on Monday, but no one showed up. No delivery. And worse, no explanation or notifications either. No calls, text messages or emails from the cleaning company or the delivery driver regarding the time/status of the delivery or the process of the cleaning order. No notifications ever. You never know when your clothes will be delivered. And I called multiple times, and they gave no explanation about why there was a delay or lack of delivery or lack of notifications. Worst service.

Had my wife’s dress cleaned and preserved here everyone was friendly, professional, and did a great job with the dress. Turn around time was also fast.

I had to postpone my alterations appointment twice due to complications with scheduling and then completely forgetting- I am 100-% at fault. He was extremely courteous and very happily rescheduled. French Cleaners Saved Me From A Drapery Disaster!Several years ago, I saw a picture in a magazine featuring the living room of Goldie Hawn’s NYC apartment. My eyes were immediately drawn to her draperies which were simple, casual and yet with an air of elegance. I loved them so I tore the picture out of the magazine and had them custom made for my living and dining rooms.Recently I hired another cleaning company to remove, clean and replace my drapes. I warned the man who came to remove them that they would be tricky to rehang, due to the intertwining of the two colors, wrapped around the drapery rod. He thought that it would not be problematic. When he returned with the cleaned drapes, he had forgotten how they looked originally (we had no pictures). I described to him the sequence of colors and he spent an agonizing hour attempting to achieve it without success. He finally gave up, telling me that I was wrong and it was absolutely impossible to do based upon my description. The result was disasterous and I was devastated.A couple weeks later, I called the French Cleaners, to come and take down another pair of drapes that needed cleaning. A young man named Mark came in and before removing the drapes, he took pictures. After removing them he took a needle and thread to repair a loose Velcro. I was so impressed by his professionalism that I showed him my experience with the previous cleaner. He inspected the drapes and said that he thought he could fix them as I had described. My confidence in Mark was not misplaced. He took the drapes to his shop and a few days later he returned with Phil. They rehung the drapes just as they were meant to be, steam pressed them and they look like new.I am so grateful for their expertise and willingness to take on my problem. Thank you Mark & Phil. I have been using Frenchs for many years, over ten to be exact. I recently moved out of town and started their delivery. There was some confusion at first where my clothes were not being picked up but we figured out the problem and solved it. The company was very responsive and apologetic and they do a great job. I only wish I was able to get the discount by waiting longer, which you cannot get with delivery I guess. Their prices are higher than I would like, but they do a great job which justifies the cost. Highly recommend for cleaning and alterations. I also had my wedding dress cleaned and preserved here over 5 years ago.

I had 8 large Crewel embroidered panels at museum quality. They were all unique designs created by the embroiderer, and each one of a kind. No kits here. Every crewel stitch was used. Each panel took a year to make. It was the masterwork of a woman who had spent her lifetime doing crew, and they are a priceless family heirloom which at least one museum has their eye on. They had been made as seat covers, for a dining set now long gone. I wanted to frame them, but they were dirty. They were not worn or faded, but dust and mildew had done their work, and the tacks she had used to attach them to seats had rusted.I showed them to the French Cleaners. They immediately understood the care that would be needed. We discussed the approach and hand cleaning in the manner of a museum restorer was decided upon.I was amaised when I got them back about a week later. The colors were fresh and vibrant. No damage had been done. They were clean and looked the way I saw them as a child. To me it was a miracle.

After being away for 5 months 1st travel and then the state of COVD19 in CT finally back home and to French Cleaners. While service war excellent where I was it was the little things that French does that were missed. Those little plastic tabs on polo collars being known by name and really getting the starch right every time.They did have a drive up door where they came out to pick up and bring out when you picked up with credit card on file.A combination of both would be wonderful.Thank you for the great service.GJ

I dropped my suit and jacket off because French’s was the only dry cleaners who could do a quick turn around. When I went back to pick it up I was greeted by two sincere and helpful young women who honestly put a smile on my face. The type of service you don’t get anymore.

Maybe a little pricey for some but I’d say it worth having your clothing items well catered to. They’ve gotten stains out of my items that multiple washes at the laundromat couldn’t touch. Their shop isn’t bad looking either. I’d say it’s the nicest cleaners I’ve been to.

Philip was so nice and helpful, assuring me that they would take care of him. Everyone made sure we were able to have the suit cleaned and pressed that day. Not only was it done quickly, the suit looked amazing! We are hoping to move to the area if we do we will definitely be using French Cleaners in the future!

I gave this place a couple tries but problems persist. When dry cleaning my tuxedo here a couple months ago, they ripped the jacket lining wide open and left it that way! (Of course, after charging me the extra lining fee). I returned and they sowed it back together but with minimal apology and no mention of a refund or store credit. Fine. Maybe a one-off? Maybe a full-moon? More recently, I dry cleaned another suit that for reasons unbeknownst to me rang up at $41 for an added couture charge - explained to me as necessary for providing higher care. They lowered the price after they could not answer what the higher care was for, specifically, for my suit. I sure wish they had applied this fleeting higher care to my first visit! Im happy to pay for good work but so far the work has been sloppy and the pay exorbitant.
