Worst place Ive ever had my taxes done, one lady named becky did my taxes wrong back at the end of january and never had them submitted didnt give me any info and never told me how much they would be charging and the fact that they charge a fee to charge you that fee, no one knows how to correct my problem and im still waiting for a manager to call back.

Will never recommend you to even someone I hate! My state got filed without my permission so therefore I have no copy of the return. Got my taxes done at the East Euclid location in Iowa, but was told that any location has access and that by accident my state was filed by Randy in West Des Moines . I was refused the district managers number & instead asked to call someone named Bree who hasnt tried calling me back. I filed an escalation and was told a manager would call me in a 24 hours, its now been 48! Even before this, I took off work to have my taxes done in my local town, but the preparer never showed up & I was asked to drive 45 miles after a 2 hour call! Where is the customer service!! Never Again!!

The lady was nice and helpful. I dropped my taxes off on Saturday and it took over 48 hours to get a call. This was unfortunate. I definitely wouldnt count on getting your taxes filed in the 30 minute time slots. I made an appointment online and never received an email or text notification reminding me of the appointment as Id requested. I showed up for my appointment and she said she was behind and that shed have do them later. 52 hours and $236 hours later, my taxes are filed.The company is pretty expensive. A coworker got her taxes e-filed by a CPA downtown for $80. I feel foolish. Jackson Hewitt advertises a $50 Walmart Gift Card when you do your taxes with them. In actuality, you only qualify for the offer if your fees are $150 or more. Believe me, my fees were.The fact that such an overpriced place exists within a Walmart is disturbing. Most people go to Walmart to get the best price, therefore, there will be tons of people who get there taxes done here thinking that they are getting the best value there is.I could understand if someone had a ton of tax forms or was itemizing their taxes, but $236 for 2 W2s and a Tuition Loan Tax form seems a bit ludicrous to me all for a 1040EZ.Please do your due diligence, prior to choosing this company. Ill probably go back to Turbo Tax or Tax Slayer next year.
