I had an amazing experience with S&S employment. I met with Laurie about a job posting that I had seen on Indeed.com. She set me up for an interview with the hiring company that same day, and within hours the job was mine. Partnering with S&S was one of the best decisions I ever made.

My daughter was told to come into their office for an interview, and it was quite a hike from where we live. She gets there at 12:45 and is told the position has been filled. How unprofessional is that? I would highly recommend that you do not use this agency. It’s absurd the recruiter did not have the decency to pick up the phone and cancel the interview. This agency is definitely lacking and I’d recommend any other employment agency. Very bad impression.

I got a call from S&S stating they had found my resume and were very impressed and thought I would be a great fit for MULTIPLE customer service representative positions they had available. I was told to bring my resume and 2 forms of ID to my interview and expect to be there at least an hour. I arrived 15 minutes early, and waited 15 minutes past my time slot before someone said “the lady interviewing you is busy, someone else will help you. That someone else was “Lindsey”. She took one look at my resume and told me “if she could be honest, it was awful.” And proceeded to tell me what I needed to do to fix it. She then told me she had NO positions available at that time but maybe in a few weeks they would have ONE. She suggested I go home, and completely re-do my resume. She stated she would send me links for the required assessments and IF I passed those, my awful resume aside, I MAY qualify for a position through them. Regardless of my 10+ years of customer service experience. She said I was probably qualified but with a resume like that “frankly the employer won’t care”. NOTE: the issues she had with my resume were that I listed my previous jobs most recent to least recent. I also listed I had attended DMACC off and on and was looking to continue working towards a degree in spare time. She said if there is no degree listed every employer would assume I was a quitter who didn’t finish what she started so I needed to remove that from my resume ASAP. I left feeling so discouraged. It’s been over a week and I never received a call back OR the required assessments. I’ve called twice to speak with her to request them be emailed to me and both times she was unavailable to take my call and EVERYONE else in the office was out for the day? This place was awful. They were rude and condescending. I went to an interview directly after where I was informed my resume was great and I was over qualified for their positions offered. Also, I continue to get emails from S&S letting me know they have new positions available! I asked the receptionist the last time I called if I should put a review on their website explaining my situation and she said they love to see great reviews! I informed her it would not be a good one and she asked if I would like to speak to LINDSEY about the issues I experienced. IVE CALLED TO SPEAK WITH HER TWICE and she refused to come to the phone about a job inquiry but was able to assist me so I wouldn’t leave a bad review? That’s ridiculous.

I have never worked with an employment agency before and they made the experience great. I was put in contact with them through a friend. I have been in contact with other employment agencies reach out to me through LinkedIn and they follow up, but they dont seem as responsive as S&S. I found and started a new temp-to-hire position within a month with working with them and I couldnt be happier!

I was told I wasnt a good fit for a job that I had the exact qualifications they were looking for. I responded asking for clarification and nothing. I then applied for another position through them and was told they would get back to me, I responded with a question, and nothing. Not a good look.

I recently had the opportunity as part of my career advancement to apply for a position via S&S and they are extremely not empathic and unethical when it comes to the interest of individuals seeking for employment. They advocate for ethics and policies to the best of their interest and not you the career seeker. Please, avoid wasting your time working with them since they are in for the $$ and have no interest in your development. Highly disappointed that such entity operates in our society today! S&S prioritize the development of the people.

I was contacted after submitting my resume on indeed for an interview. I got an email telling me to bring my resume and two forms of ID for tax purposes. I had a lot of things to do and I didnt have my resume; however, I knew theyd have their own copy from indeed so I just came with my 2 forms of ID. I got there early, was waiting at least 10 minutes before someone came to me. The lady I got didnt even introduce herself, I had to ask her who she was. She didnt apologize for being late! She basically asked me general questions like whats my strengths, weaknesses, told me the position I wanted was filled and if they have anything else theyd contact me. She didnt bother to even take my two forms of ID, tell me what other positions they had. In my email it said to expect to be there at least an hour. My interview was all of 10 minutes. Definitely a waste of time.

The interviewer was polite and allowed me to express myself completely without the interview lasting too long (10min). She asked me appropriate questions and answered all of my job-related questions as well. In addition, she called me at exactly 3:00 which was on schedule. I thought the interview was great 5/5.

The worst staffing agency Ive ever been to. They wouldnt reply my email for a follow-up, and didnt contact me at all after our interview. Very, very, VERY unprofessional. My experience in dealing with them was so unpleasant. I suggest you go to other staffing agencies like Palmer Group, Randstad, or Aerotek, as they would always help you along your job search and they truly care about you. Unlike S&S.

I decided to contact S&S direct rather than go through zip recruiter. I was called a day later by S&S to stop in for a brief introductory meeting. I like their collaboration and opportunity to ask questions about the process of using an employment agency to find the best possible fit to match my professional experience.

Even though S&S Employment Partners is fairly new to DM & WDM their staff of recruiters very much impressed me. I have worked with a number of established recruiters here in the area. Their 1st step of getting to know you, I was interviewed by 2 of their recruiters. Which made me feel to my advantage to have 2 view points of my skill sets. If you have already tried the established staffing agencys and really feel overlooked, try S&S Employment Partners and be 1 of their partners. Follow through experience you have never had before!!
