I made an appt with them and took in all the paperwork I knew they would ask for. The person I met with was very friendly and personable. She explained the process and said she would start working on finding me something as soon as she put a file together and contacted my references. She did contact them right away. She also said she would call me every Friday just to check in, even if she didnt have anything for me.After a month and no phone calls I called several times and didnt receive any calls back. I finally complained to someone else and within an hour she called me back with many excuses as to why she hadnt called me. She apologized and said I would be hearing from her. Again, several weeks went by with no call. I called again and this time she didnt call me back but did send me an email with more excuses but never responded when I explained my concerns and frustration. This is very unprofessional and simply not worth wasting time with. I would not recommend this agency at all.
Went in and Monica was super friendly. Met with samantha. I have been in before and looked like she was the only recruiter in the office. She explained how their process has changed. over all they are way nice!
They were amazing and so easy to work with.
The people were pretty friendly, mainly the receptionist Brittany. I met with the recruiter Jen on a Friday, they had me fill out additional paperwork that took almost an hour by itself to complete (in total I was in their office for almost 2 hours which is ridiculous). As per the usual, the recruiter made it seem like she was really interested in assisting me with my job search and like AppleOne was such a great catch...you know, the usual temp agency lip service. I interviewed with her almost 4 weeks ago and only heard from her twice and neither time was in reference to a potential job.Bottom line, if you are a qualified individual such as myself with years of experience and/or higher education, do not waste your time. These temp agencies in this city (Des Moines area) are geared towards people who are low skilled, content making $10-12/hour and working in a call center, they are not equipped to work with real professionals. Lucky for me, I am a go-getter and found a permanent job on my own as well as an additional part-time gig too.
Dont waste your time.
Staff is friendly. Once your recruiter gets stuck on placing you somewhere, they just wait until the position is available even if its months. So you may be waiting a while for them to find you a position. Overall a good temp agency, just kind of irritating when you need a job NOW.
