I called to schedule a truck to pick up a bunch of trash. I was told they would arrive today between 6:00-6:30 so I drug everything from my garage to the curb and waited around all night. You never showed up and by that time your office was closed so I couldn’t call anybody. Your entire company is trash removal yet somehow you couldn’t manage to remove trash. What do you even do?

This is the worst recycling company Ive ever heard of in my life I put on I put on the overage stickers and items Im items that I put out at the street in they never touched it but they took a time to make a note saying that I need more stickers For overage waste I took apart a desk To make it easy to move and now they consider it Individual pieces of lumberI cut up carpet and small rolls to make it easy for me and them to be able to handle handle now they want an overage sticker for each roll I had stickers and all the items but they didnt touch any of them But they took the time to write me a cute little note

I am giving them only one star because they charged me $15 a yard for garbage that I had asked them to pick up on July 9th, which they did not do. They wanted to charge a $35 fee for having to come out on a non-service day, but I called them and told them that they shouldnt be charging me that because they didnt come on a non-service day like they said they would. I am so happy I do not have to deal with these people anymore!So glad to not have to deal with companies like this that say one thing and do another! Glad to be moving out of Illinois for good!!

In and out service just would like the roads a little cleaner of debris. flat tires!

This company bought out DC Trash where we had excellent service and customer service. The customer service at Lakeshore is the worst! Two days now and I cant talk to anyone at Lakeshore. I will make it my mission that we in Plato Township look for another trash company.

Recycling truck just came, emptied can, dropped a glass bottle from can in street which shattered and he left it there. Fortunately I saw it before someone ran it over.

I use Lake Shore a few times a week. They are very responsive and have fair pricing. I recommend.

Now I work for a roofing company and we use our own dump trailers but I never had an issue with this place. Fast n easy entry/exit and the the employees in the office are friendly and respectable. They also execute great customer service too.

For a company with recycling in the name I am SURE they do NOT recycle for residential customers in my area anymore. Until recently we had two truck come and pick up weekly, one for waste and one for recycling.Now they just dump both bins into the same truck. When I called to inquire about it a few months ago they told me they take the truck to the dump and re-sort (what we already sorted) at the dump and then recycle it.When I called to cancel now and they asked why I told them I didnt believe they are recycling anymore and they did say anything one way or the other.With their rates going up and Waste Managements going down we are not going to pay a little less per month and still recycle.

Great service at the front counter, do have to have a mask, but great service in the yard and easy to dump at.

Our trash company recently has changed to Lake Shore from DC trash and I’m very unhappy with their customer service. I’m not one to leave negative reviews unless it is deserved. I’m moving and have tried calling 4 times to cancel my service. I’m always on hold for 20 minutes plus or have to leave my call back information. I’ve now left my call back information three times and have not had a call back in over a week! Very very poor customer service. If you have an option to chose another trash service, I recommend you do.

Quick and easy in-and-out.

Our trash service changed to LRS and we we not informed until the day a new recycle bin was left on our driveway (7/29). Our first pick-up is tomorrow (8/6) and we still dont have a regular trash bin. The only advice from LRS is to just leave trash bags on the drive next to the recycle bin. That is not an option because of the wildlife in the area. So not only am I paying more for trash services now ($4 more per month) for the same size bins, but I have to accumulate trash until a bin shows up, who knows when. The whole process is disorganized and not off to a great start.Update (8/14/20): LRS may have sent a brochure, but it never showed up in our mailbox. Regardless, the situation has only gotten worse. After numerous interactions with LRS, during one of which one rep advised us to add our trash to the recycling bin, we finally got a trash bin, after 2 pick-ups without one. Unfortunately, it is the wrong size. The LRS offices solution is to start our order all over again, which means waiting another 10-14 more days for the right sized bin. In 36 years, our trash services have changed 3 times; this is the first time there have been issues with the transition.My advice to other customers if you have to deal with LRS, is to be sure to get names and jot down who says what, because information varies from person to person.

I have called numerous times to ask the drivers not place my cans iny driveway. I am disabled and it is extremely difficult for me to have to get out of my vehicle to move the cans and get back in. Complete disrespect and retaliation for me calling. Company is full of inconsiderate people. Would give zero stars if could.

Definitely DO NOT recommend this company they charged me twice without my consent. First time when I ordered then 2 weeks later on the 1st of the month and they did not return my money right away. When I called and asked about being charged twice there staff said “yeah that’s been happening a lot lately”. They really have to fix this problem.

Really having a hard time getting them to pick up my garbage on their scheduled day. I keep being told its being reported to the route manager. Here it is 5:48 pm, and once again its not been picked up. This is day two of this nonsense. I had the same problem last week. This is the third incident. All the other residents on my road get timely service. Really disappointed. I will be shopping around for a new service.

I have been using Laskeshore Recycling since they bought out Dupage Disposal. First off the driver empties the recycling into the same container as the trash. Second, I wanted to add an additional trash can to my service and was told Its $3.00 a month, and we can have one delivered on Wednesday. Guess what? Its Wednesday, no can. I call, and they told me the woman who quoted me $3.00 a month was wrong and it is $10.00 extra a month and the can will be delivered Friday. They didnt call me, and were very apathetic to the whole situation.Update: they did wave the delivery fee.

Waited a month for a garbage can ..got it dropped off decided I needed a bigger size and it took them another week to deliver it then they delivered me a recycling bin when I didnt ask for one and for some reason the next day I had another garbage can outside of my house I feel this company is very unorganized told the representative that I felt this way and they didnt seem to care. I wasted lot of money on garbage stickers because it took so long to the first garbage can to get delivered.dissapointed ... then on top of that they messed up my first bill and forgot to tell me that I had a $40 credit awesome

Expensive, not customer friendly. I was sure not to overload it, but got charged extra for rain added weight (according to the representative). Since when do the customers started paying for dump trucks carrying rain weights? Always deliver last hour. Only two time windowsfor deliveries AM or PM hours. I have chosen AM and asked them kindly to deliver as early as possible. Drop off arrived 10 minutes to noon. Called them same day for pick up and asked kindly to pick up as soon as possible as driveway being blocked, eventually I got a call in two weeks and got asked if I was done with a dumpster.Good: droped off and picked up.

Reasonable rates, in and out very easily, but THEY ARE NOT OPEN UNTIL 7PM.

I always depend on Hoving when Im in need of a dumpster. They have always been quick to deliver and swap out boxes when needed. Ive used them both for my business and at my home. The storage box came in real handy when the wife wanted to do a garage sale! These guys have service that make the others pale in comparison.Dave M.Mechanical Contractor

This company is awful. They constantly miss dumpsters at my apartment complex. Spoke to management about it and they said they have to call the city on them all the time and they cant switch companies because St. Charles mandates who they can use. This is ridiculous. Use literally any other company. Seriously, a guy with a truck and a shovel would be better than these people. Cheaper is not always better St. Charles.

I ordered a garbage bin for residential service a month ago and still have not received the container! gave me several dates when it would arive ! Never connected with me to let me know of any delays! I have called them more than 15 times Still waiting! Not a good way to bring a new business into st charles!

Just moved into a new house and this was the service the last owners had. My garbage and recycle cans are still full when the pickup is Friday and today is Saturday. I dont care if theres weather impact or not. Pickup is before 7am and its after 1pm now. Still full. I pay for the service so why cant I get what I pay for?

My experience with LRS:Day 1: Called and spoke to a representative who was pleasant and helpful. Decided to start service. The rep said my bins would be delivered in 1-2 days.Day 5: No bins. Called LRS, was assured itll be made right, and was told Id get a call back later that day from someone in operations. Never got that call. Oh, and my first invoice from LRS arrived around this time.Approx. Day 8: Repeat of day 5.Day 12: Another call to LRS. Got the rep to transfer me to the director of operations, who assured me hed get bins delivered the next day, by him personally if need be.Day 20: Decided this was enough. Called a competitor, signed up, and the competitor said my bins would arrive in 7-8 days.Day 25: LRS bins finally arrive... Told the guy on the truck just keep them; I dont want them. Called the office the next day to officially cancel.Day 27: Competitors bins arrive, on time as promised.

I was happy with their service.They went extra mile to work with me.There some bumps, but over all I give them A - for attitude and customer service. 4.5 stars

They need to keep the tipping floor cleaner and fill the holes in the tipping area that catch sharp objects and other materials that puncture tires and possibly wind up in the drivers feet !

As a follow up I did contact them as requested below. They were just as clueless and uncaring as the first time I talked to them. These responses here where it looks like they care are all for show.I have never complained before, yet somehow Im crazy for being angry about having to clean up after them.DO NOT let your community get sucked into a contract with these guys, youre screwed for years once that happens.

Always a fair price and always picked up within the time window promised. I do not understand the sour grapes below. Its a dumpster service. You are quoted a price over the phone with a weight adder. put more weight in the dumpster, you get charged more. Clean-up? they drop an empty dumpster up, you call them when its full, and they tell you they are going to pick it up. If its loaded right (by you) there is no clean-up.

Fast end easy.

We just moved to a new house a 1/2 mile away and countless phonecalls, promised trash can drop offs, and promised return phone calls later we still have no trash cans...maddening!

Very unreliable, below average customer service and always late for drop offs. Even when they give a 2hour window they still cant make it on time.
