I have been taking my 2015 Mercedes e63s amg for maintenance and service here for a few years and this shop is great. These guys know their cars, (especially European). They are going to make sure your car is running perfect, and arent going to rip you off. If you have a European car, its pretty important to find a good independent shop to care for your car and youre not going to find a better one than autosport inc.

Good experience with buying a used car for my daughter. The cars all looked like a good buy, it was hard to decide on what car to buy within our price range, since there were several which were very nice and a good deal. My experience with them was great! I was interested in a Toyota and Manni was great at communicating with me over the phone and e-mail any questions I may have had. He sent extra pictures, worked with me on price. They do not cut corners with getting the car ready to purchase, all mechanical was up to date and if it was close to needing something replace they did the work. The car I was looking at probably would not have needed anything done for two years other than oil changes and it was a 2003 Toyota. I ultimately did not purchase the Toyota not because of price, or age of vehicle it just came down to distance and time to travel 3 plus hours one way. I would not hesitate to buy from them if in the Chicago area or within 2 hours.

I had an unappreciated and unprofessional experience at AUTOSPORT INC in Batavia yesterday. I felt very uncomfortable with the way Manni approached me after a service was performed on my car.About a year ago, Manni replaced 2 HID light bulbs at a cost of $235.56. Each bulb cost $78, 2 @ $157 and labor was 0.6hrs @ $110 a total of $66 to replace 2 bulbs. I am not going to dwell on the significant disparity between replacing 2 bulbs @ $235 a year ago with no discount, and today 1 bulb @ $209 including a 25% discount according to Manni. This doesnt make any sense to me.Two weeks ago, one of the bulbs stopped working. I called Manni and he initially told me to bring the car in to replace the bulb. He told me that he will give me a call when the bulb came in. I didnt hear from Manni after 4 days. So I called and I was told that he was out and will be back in few days. The associate I spoke with said that he couldnt help me at the time and I should call back when Manni comes back. I called back twice, I didnt get anyone to answer the phone and their phone system would not allow me to leave a voice message. I finally got hold of Manni, he said that he was trying to work me in because they were very busy. 2 weeks has passed and I got frustrated and told Manni I could come in anytime the next 5 days. I was scheduled for the replacement of the bulb and Manni promised that he will try to get me a 15% discount on the price of the bulb, but he couldnt guarantee anything.I went to Autosport and I met Dave. I asked Dave how much it will cost me to replace the bulb. Dave told me $75.3 dollars for the bulb and a total of $116 for the bulb and service. I told Dave I shouldnt be paying for anything because HID bulb generally has a 5-10 years warranty and the bulb only lasted a year. However, in our previous conversation, Manni told me that there were several factors that could have caused the malfunctioning of the bulb and the warranty did not cover those factors. Having worked for 2 auto parts suppliers, I considered Mannis assertion, but I didnt fully agree because most reputable suppliers will honor their warranty terms. I said ok Dave go ahead and replace the bulb.Manni had brought me a sample of the bulb cracked and he said that I might have hit something very hard while driving that caused the bulb to crack.The repair was done and Manni brought a bill of $209 dollars. I told Manni that Dave told me the cost to replace the bulb was $116 dollars and I am not paying $209 dollars. Manni was yelling at me saying you know better, you are intelligent, the labor cost alone is $116 plus parts and service equals $209. I requested that he called Dave. When Dave came he immediately said I see the problem. Dave said I told him (me) the replacement cost was $116 per your text message you (Manni) sent. At that point, I appreciated Dave honesty and I told Manni that you see, I am an intelligent young man. I know what I am doing and I had options to go to other repair shops that were cheaper, but I chose your shop to give you a second chance. Manni was yelling again at me saying so you are taking advantage of our miscommunication etc......? Because Dave was honest, I really wanted to pay the entire $209 dollars. But because Manni was arrogant and unprofessional, I decided to only pay the $116.Fabio a co-owner of Autosport told Manni to accept the $116 for the service. Fabio respectfully explained to me the details of the charges and admitted that it was a misunderstanding. He told me he was sorry for the misunderstanding and encourage me to recommend others to Autosport.I am very grateful that Dave was honest and Fabio was respectful and professional. My first experience with Manni was outstanding a year ago, but I was surprised of Manni arrogance and lack of professionalism. We all make mistakes in life, and I just wish that Manni will understand that character is an important aspect of every individual. He did not only lose a customer, but he lost his dignity to a customer.

Absolutely fantastic experience. My Jeep Liberty started having common problems that my KK model is known to have. The plugs were being fouled by carbon build up and the heater was not working. With my model, there are several different issues that happen with the heat. I took my Jeep to Integrity Motors in Lisle for the rough idle issue, after OVER A MONTH and $650+ to unnecessarily change an injector, they still could not get my Jeep running correctly. The entire time I was without a vehicle (this will be another review later). After this, I took my Jeep to the Jeep dealership in Naperville. They recommended a fuel injector cleaning service for $169, which sounded great. Well, all that did was clean off the carbon, not fix the problem and I was back with the same issue 2 days later. After calls and messages to schedule an appointment went un-returned I started looking into trading in my Jeep as I could still not pass emissions, my plate extension was now expired and I was $250 in the hole from trying to have my heater fixed during all of this. I called Manny about a car he had for sale. Instead of trying to sell me a car, he told me to bring it in to take a look at it before thinking about trading it in. Manny had treated me as if I had known him for years and even supplied a loaner car so I was not without a vehicle as my car was being repaired. Within 3 days they were able to fix both the rough idle and have blazing hot heat blowing in my car for a fraction of what I had already invested trying to get everything fixed. I am beyond grateful for the services at Autosport Inc. and would never go another place for service no matter how far away I live. I would recommend them to anyone!

No dreaded haggling or annoying used car sales antics. Just straight talk. Intrigued by this unique car, we were eager to test drive a few comps that day. Great experience at Autosport. Had been wanting a BMW for a long time, and just recently in the market for one when Autosport came across a 2011 535i I did not want to pass up. The pricing was better than any dealership in the region. I had been looking for a while, so theres no doubt in my mind about that. The condition of this car was immaculate, and I have received many compliments about its condition. Never mind the fact that the thing is a rocket that runs better than any brand new car Ive ever owned. I worked one on one with Manny the owner of this dealership, and was the best car buying experience Ive had. He listened to exactly what I wanted, and at no time tried to up-sell or pressure into anything I didnt really want. If you see something at Autosport you like, jump on it. They dont last because they are some of the best of their models in the market.

On a Saturday, We purchased the car at what we thought was a pleasant experience with salesman Manni. After taking the car to a major public place (45 min after leaving car lot), we tried to use the remote buttons on the key fob and tragically discovered the remote key Would Not Work!! My husband pulled out the so called “valet” key” from the nonworking key fob and found out it was just a metal stick with no key grooves to fit the door (which should help you open & close the door when the remote doesn’t work)!! The key Manni gave us only would start the car! It wouldn’t lock any door on the car.  Needless to say we couldn’t leave our recently purchased car Unlocked...Open...Vulnerable to thieves . We had to leave our planned outing.Immediately we tried calling AutoSport- Manni and the shop was closed. We left several voicemails and an email. We got an email Monday morning from Manni, saying this issue can happen...all it needed was a battery. Manni said the car was now ours and we have to handle getting a key or battery from BMW.  Fast forward.... Manni was out of town, refused to help after I asked, referred us to a BMW dealer to fix this horrible issue. I found out BMW Doesnt replace batteries...the BMW dealership said we have to buy a new fob & valet slide key $245! Originally We had planned on getting a spare key but had no idea we had to buy the main key because we were given a non functioning faux bmw key remote. The deal left a bad taste in our mouth.  The car stays in garage until the proper keys come in from BMW ...3days we are delayed! If you are going to buy ...Check Your Keys & Remote constantly during the deal. This could’ve been resolved with AutoSport giving us a properly working key for the car we purchased....Manni apologized but we have been greatly  inconvenienced and felt not respected as a customer. We wonder if any other issues will surface with the car.  Originally we had planned to return and purchase another import car but quickly we changed our minds after this experience. You lost a return customer.

I dealt with Manni, the owner, during my experience at Autosport Inc. I can really appreciate a small family-owned service center that is as into car culture as I am! The customer service was excellent. This past weekend, I purchased an E39 540i from Autosport. The car was exactly as I was told it would be online and in-person. Its been a blast, and after talking with Manni extensively, I am 100% certain Ill be coming back for service on my BMW. While they deal in many foreign vehicles, there is a marked emphasis on BMW and Mercedes here. The staff will go above and beyond to make sure youre taken care of. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

It was the first snow this winter and my car had slipped in some slush eventually hitting the curb. My car had to be towed to my house where it sat before I called Autosport the following day. Manni, the owner, was so nice and generous to call a towing company to have my car brought to his shop while I went to do some errands. He told me not to worry and to just leave the keys and by the end of my errands I got a call that my car was safe in his shop.He was also very considerate and timely letting me know the schedule of when he would be looking at my car and damages and the estimated time of when everything will be finished. He also didnt hesitate to offer fixing other issues that I had in mind that werent part of the accident.When my car was finished, Manni stayed much later than the shop hours so I can pick up the car since I came late from work. He made sure I was aware of all that was broken and was what done to fix it. He was very thorough and my water pump which was broken was also fixed. So I basically came out with a brand new car....or at least something that will last 5 or so more years. Mannis service didnt stop there but as I made my way to work the next day, he graciously contacted me asking how everything was working with the car and the drive. He made an effort to check on his customer even though he was swamped with other cars at the shop. Overall, I am very thankful and pleased with his service. Definitely recommend his shop and will be back for future car service.

I currently own an mk5 GLI. These guys have been nothing but help. One of the things I love about them is their quality of service. Their labor is very reasonable; it is clear that they arent looking for just a penny. I got the same quality, if not better, that I wouldve received at the dealer, without draining my wallet. Their company is also great. The owner doesnt hide behind a desk or anything, he came out and introduced himself and insured that my car was in good hands. Any german car you may have, I can tell you that your complex vehicle can be properly serviced without worrying about shortcuts taken and your wallet being compromised.

Bought a Porsche Boxster S from autosport batavia today and I cant be happier. Car came clean, fully detailed. Every car on that lot looked like it was worth buying. About a month after owning the car, I had them put in a new clutch assembly as well as an aftermarket ims bearing. This is an incredibly difficult job that most people recommend only having Porsche do, but I trust autosport and they did an amazing job for an even better price. The car feels like brand new now and I couldnt be happier. Definitely a long term customer right here. I also referred my dad over to these guys when he was having some issues with his Denali and they really helped him out. American made to import, roadster to SUV, I think these guys can handle just about anything.
