Absolutely the best color experiences Ive ever had. Ive gone to lots of local salons and Ive finally found the best. County Seat is unique and unlike any salon in Chester County. Its smaller, warm and cozy atmosphere pulls me back to being home everytime. The experience and talent by Suzanne is top notch. She knows exactly what I should try and whats best for my hair. The prices are so reasonable for the services, far lower than youd expect in this area. I walk out everytime feeling like she performed a miracle on my hair. I had tons of white/gray hair before these pics, and she softened me and made me feel younger again. Everyone there is friendly and fun and truly feels like your meeting up with friends. The level of knowledge is bar to none and I always leave excited for the next visit. My daughters at 9 and 12 absolutely love going there too! I booked with Sarah, and she did a fabulous job on my hair! I have thick Asian hair so it can be a challenge but she was so experienced and did a wonderful job! Absolutely love my haircut! The salon is also so intimate and cute! Akel, the owner really created a nice atmosphere for her clients too. I will be back:)

Booked hairstyle and makeup appointment for my maternity photoshoot. I have short wavy hair and not a very fond of heavy makeup. My artist was Akel, an elderly cheerful lady. She made my short hair look super cute and did a very light airbrush makeup. The price was reasonable and I am happy with the service she provided. All my photos came out awesome! Will definitely return to this place for future programs.

After going to many salons through the years big and small, Ive come to realize comfort and ease is important...and smaller seems to be better for me. This hair salon is only 4 chairs but packs in the customers because people who know better, go here. It is usually quiet (unless its a Sunday--its busy}. I know the owner is off on photoshoots and weddings so I recommend calling or on line scheduling before going over, unless you are in town (I have seen people just walk in to be taken, like the local lawyers and close by office workers) Surprisingly, this little place has everything, Step off the big salon train...experience resides here. I will probably never go anywhere else!

I have been a customer of County Seat Style for 10+ years. I find Akel to have a passion for running a successful business. She is up on the latest hair and styling trends and a has a sincere interest in her clients.I find my trips into downtown WC refreshing and invigorating. There always seems to be something going on downtown and County Seat Style is in a great location for you to either extend your stay or easy enough to get in and out, if need be.

I ALWAYS look forward to my hair appts. The stylist and other customers have alwys been friendly. Its easy to feel like youve known them for years. I LOVE that its a small salon in the center of WC. It feels like a Norman Rockwell painting come to life. Im never particular about how I want my hair done. I trust the ladies to cut my hair as they see fit. I have NEVER been disappointed. My highlights and cut are wonderful!

The best salon in West Chester Town. A small salon where you can get great style with less expense. The stylists are so great. I just loved my hair style when akel comes up with a great style. I bet you, if you visit once, you wont stop visiting again.

Akel has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 20 years. Spending time in her salon is like hanging out with old friends (and they are!). There’s always fun, friendly conversation and a lot of laughter. This is a small, independent salon with fantastic client service and really talented stylists. Whether you meet with Akel, Carey or Christy (and I’ve worked with each of them), you won’t be dissapointed. I also love that it’s in the borough of West Chester. Parking is easy in the street or the municipal lot which is less than a block away. I highly recommend!
