I brought a vehicle in to have two tires with slow air leaks patched/plugged. I had identified what appeared to be nails in both tires and told the AAA service shop where the leaks were. I asked how much it cost to perform this repair and was informed it was $29.99 per tire. This is twice as much as what I was quoted at other places, but it was local and I thought it would be a quality repair that would be backed up. The final invoice included a Shop fee of $4.80. I asked the clerk what the Shop fee covered. He stated that he didnt know and that everyone was charged this Shop fee. It feels dishonest to me that AAA advertised and quoted a price for the repair, knows that they have this arbitrary shop fee and did not tell me about it ahead of time. While driving away from the facility, I noticed that the Tire warning light was on. It was NOT on when I brought the car in for the slow air leak. Thank you AAA for creating a problem that was not there when I brought the car in. Lastly, AAA decided it was within their right to replace the oil change sticker that was applied by my preferred shop for oil change service with their own sticker. I didnt ask them to do that and I did not want them to do that. A tip for you AAA, dont touch what you are not asked to touch. Its hard to give them 1 star. Im not confident they did the work that I paid them to do correctly. Needless to say, I will never bring a car back to this service center, and I wont recommend them to anyone that I know. NOT a good shop.

Even when I had an appointment, it took them about 30 minutes to see me for my fingerprinting. However, they have very good service.

It pains me to submit a one-star review, as Ive generally had good experience here in the past. On Monday, I picked up my car and drove off. It didnt become apparent that at least one tire was loose until I was on 202. I tried calling and nobody picked up. Fortunately, I made it to Pep Boys in Exton, and they were good enough to tighten the lug nuts. When the mechanic handed me back my keys, he told me all four tires had been loose. When I did finally get ahold of the shop, they didnt seem particularly concerned that this had happened. When I called the main membership number, they apologized and said someone would be in touch. So, I said to myself that Id give them a day before posting anything about it. And I verified what number theyd be calling from. Its now almost two full days, so I will post.

Got a nail/screw in my tire on a Friday and no garages are open on the weekend. AAA saved my life squeezing me in on Saturday morning. Took a couple hours obviously as they had other cars already scheduled but was worth the wait as I had a long drive on Sunday. Thank you guys!!

Never ever go here. Went in for an oil change. The tech stood there with the car in the shop for atleadt 20 min just talking. Never tried to sell me wipers which streak severely. Bever topped off fluid like suppose to. I checked my oil level after the service and it is atleast a quart low. I recommend to never go here. Over an hour and half for an oil change and tire rotation. I had a 9 o clock appointment.

Ive been using AAA in West Chester since I moved here in 2013. They have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and they work quickly but professionally. Ive never felt sales pressure or the pressure to buy anything that I didnt already ask for. I have a modern car and a 30 yr old car and have used AAA for service on both.

So I took my car in for inspection and there was nothing wrong with my car going in to it and after Im hearing all types of noise. I think they did something to my car it upsets me that now I gotta spend more money to figure out whats going on and what they did I had no leaks before and surprisingly they said i got a leak Im beyond frustrated Im taking the business else where because I cant afford to spend more money than what I have... I love their road side assistance but as the auto shop I will not be coming back

I had overfilled my oil tank at 17:40 :(. I went straight to a mechanic, since they were right across the street (I think he was the manager) and he squeezed me in their busy busy schedule to solve my issue for an oil change. God blessed them. I knew they were ready to go home and I held them up, but they remained professional and prompt. They all should get a raise.

I have been bringing my cars to AAA in West Chester for a while. I have had good experiences but lately I think I have been getting ripped off. I bought a new tire because they said I had an egg in it but it was small if at all, i never noticed when I was looking at the tire. They tried to sell me battery, wheel alignments, and stuff that I dont think I need. Also, they were very expensive for tire pressure sensors - $350 for two. Odd that two sensors go bad at once too. I have lost my trust in the them and wont be returning.

I consistently receive great service when I come here. I particularly like the follow up information which reviews what car service I received. It helps me stay on top of potential car problems.

Do not trust the work done here. Mechanics replaced an alternator that did not fix the problem. The cost was $400. Then diagnosed it was a $895 problem. Did not fix the problem. After $1300, it turns out it was a bad alternator--which they had just replaced! AAA replaced the alternator for a second time. Continued to have problems with the alternator at the denial of AAA. Took it elsewhere to find the second alternator was also bad. After almost a year of back and forth AAA would only refund the alternator and labor. Who knows what kind of damage they did to the car. We have been members for decades. We were treated as though we were the problem. Any sense of making it right was non-existent.

The lady that assisted me was friendly BUT overall, my experience with AAA is not what Iexpected. Being a member, I was hoping to save money & HAVE NOT. Went for car repairs & they wanted to charge me double, car insurance decreased but my other bundled insurance increased. No savings on renting. Hertz charges over $100 compared to their competitors. Use AAA to help you plan your trip😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. She gave me tour books. Tried to apply for the credit card but it had the oddest occupations to decide from.Like its credit card process, AAA services need a 21st century upgrade. Welp, I will be saving money by NOT renewing my membership

Amazing and Friendly staff! 1/2 way to the Beach & my tire came off! Was taken to a AAA shop & then told had to wait until Monday because no one was open.The Manager (Jim or Tim) went as far as to give us a ride to the only open car rental location 30 MILES AWAY!!! Well they would only accept Major Credit Cards!! They cant be debt either. He took us to 3 other near by places. The last one, HE went and put our rental on HIS credit card for us!This guy deserves to be a C/O, 4 weeks of paid vacationing, or SOMETHING! I truly was grateful for the 30 mile FREE ride! Then to go as far and get us a car rental in HIS name, I didnt know how to thank him or what to say!This guy will do whatever possible for his customers! Please choose THIS AAA for ANY repairs or services! If you go anywhere else, your car could be in way better hands!

My experience is similar to the others. Great customer service. I to needed a tire repaired (screw in tire) right before closing on a Saturday evening. The other service techs were busy so Colin (service manager) repaired it himself and got me back on the road. This was a totally new experience. Ive only dealt with Bernard & Colin and they both are great. Its good to finally go to a service center that you can trust.

Very impressed with the speed of the service and how nice the staff was. I stopped in for an oil change and inspection. They took me quickly and the service was in a good amount of time. The waiting area is also very well appointed and stocked. It was nice to be able to wait in a comfortable area with coffee, water and a vending machine. There was even a play area for the kids.

I had my car towed here after experiencing issues with smoke coming from the hood. I asked them to simply perform an inspection, which they told me would be around 60. I chose not to have the repairs done that would enable my car to pass inspection, and the price then jumped from 60 to 100. When I asked why, I was told that an additional charge is placed on if you do not move forward with repairs. So truthfully, you are taking money from me for no reason.To be charged 100 dollars for you to simply look at my car is ridiculous and unfair. As a AAA member I would expect better pricing. I will never take my care here, there are many more affordable options if you want your car inspected.

Love coming here for all of my auto needs. Not going to lie, being a member does help save with labor costs. Nonetheless, the prices are reasonable and the mechanics are honest. They fixed the ball bearings on my husbands Civic that his former mechanic could not fix. I also love weekend availability and shuttle service.

This place is a god-send! After my local mechanic stopped having Saturday hours, I was at a loss. Then, I ended up getting a flat tire a few hours east. AAA got me back on the road with my spare and I drove right to the new West Chester location (on a Sunday, right before closing!) Fantastic service..they took me in, patched me up and got me on my way- even reminding me about my inspection!Later, I brought it in for inspection, and got the same excellent customer service! Fast, professional, caring and totally willing to go the extra mile! I got hooked up with a Premium membership and saved some $$ on my repairs!I would recommend this place to anyone with an automobile!Thanks to each of you that I had the pleasure to speak to! I will probably reach out for car insurance from you as well!

Customer service is terrible. The mechanic clerk doesnt care on customer service or their needs. Had a bad attitude for helping, explain or actually move. I would not recommend this facility and reflects very badly on AAA service quality

They love to try and upsell. Not pushy, just always offering to perform work on your vehicle that you might not need.

I love AAA and am a member but the manager on duty at this location wasted 35 minutes of my time in deciding whether or not theyd be able to help me. He ended up deciding that they would not be able to help me with my obscure car issue (understandable), but I dont appreciate the way he went about it or how long it took for him to process the situation. I went next door to Pep Boys where the crew was both much more approachable and helpful. They didnt even charge and laughed at a situation that had the other manager throwing a fit! Again, nothing bad against AAA, just my experience with this location.

When my car got towed to AAA it wasn’t in good condition and it needed a lot of repairs. Bernard and Colin went above and beyond to make this unpleasant experience a positive experience. I am very thankful for their hard work and amazing customer service. I would recommend their services to others because they truly care about their customer’s satisfaction.

I came out of Doctors to find my tire flat. Called AAA and was told about an hour. Actually they were there in 10 mins, Marcus the tow drive was awsome. I ended up needing a new tire and he called a place and followed me there for safty.

This has just been a terrible experience. I called to bring my car in for diagnostics and they told me it would take a half hour to an hour to get it done. I have been here for 2 hours and they still have not even brought my car into the shop. This is infuriating. I should have picked a different shop to go to. The tiny 5% discount was not worth the hassle and time I have wasted here. I will not be returning and I will be finding a shop that can give accurate times, or at least have the decency of telling me if their is an issue with the time they quoted me.

Took my car here to get my brakes repaired.$800 dollar bill.20,000 miles later (of mostly highway miles) my brakes are completely worn down. Rotors, pads, AND calipers are in terrible condition.Went to a different place.The mechanics said it looked like the previous work on the brakes was done poorly.

I would avoid this place for the annual inspection. They will try to sell you everything they can. Their prices are totally unreasonable. Shop around for a better price and a more honest inspection of your vehicle.

I called the 1800 AAA roadside assistance number. My vehicle was towed into shop on a Sunday. They seem friendly was able to fix the problem they said technician will be there Monday. Next day I called before they close. They said my car was ready at 830 am that morning they called. and they could not find out what causes noise, but said it came from my sway link bar front right side. needs to be replaced thats what causing the problem + My engine light code was on. for tow dia it be 50% off $118 made it $62 .. I arrive at aaa shop around 2:30 to pick up my vehicle. They give me a repair work invoice of $600+ balance. I told them about my car warranty.. he didnt understand me until I Told him warranty will pay my repairs. Car care call my warranty to set up a bill invoice. Start on it two days later after I call AAA on Wednesday January 2. I picked my vehicle up last week January 2 at 3-4. They finish my car work fast. when I get home the noise and engine light came on. I got a diagnostic test by pepboys auto. they said the same before triple AAA supposed to fix it .. so I called triple AAA back they said to bring it in Friday. I took car to them they said it was two pending code one p01711. Not just One code but two. They. Didnt fix or found the first time it came in. Then he said I had them turned light off.. I trusted AAA Car Care shop. But how you didnt diagnosed a problem when it was sent to you. They seem like money is what they were looking for. I want my car correct. With some lazy technician fixing cars? my car they Should give me a clear reason what my car needs not pending code. They didnt fix. other shops pulled up easy. Thats how I knew they didnt fix it. Light was on for some time now. So becareful they may be charging you without fixing your car. yes

Incredibly friendly staff. Theyre my go-to for any minor car stuff. Also decent discounts on movie and theme park tickets.

Changed oil. Got home. Started car. Oil exploded all over newly sealed driveway. Took back car. A vacation day lost. Cost of some $ b/c of that and a day of my free time (which, screwed up my whole vacation) so nothing that can redone is worth this. Jumped on horn to get repaired. Supposedly a filter malfunction, but the gasket wasnt seated properly by the mechanic. So, wasted day, wasted vacation day - or week, stress, and then a fix. BUT, WORSE!!!!!! .....my new sealed driveway was stained. Gave AAA a quote to repair. They tried to fix with chems, but no go. So I am stuck with a bill of about $350 to re-seal. My guestimate is about $1k of loss. In the meantime, I work from home and it looks terrible..when clients come.....but have to wait until summer to re-seal. Never got compensated, so on my dime???? Unhappy. Never again customer. Change you own oil with your own brain power. Zero stars not avail. Obviously not worth the $ I saved on Busch Gardens tix having AAA. Use you Insurance provider to change your tire if needed....AAA not worth it . .Boo

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! I spent over $600 to get my alignment and tires fixed and two days later I have a completely flat tire. When I called to speak to someone, they couldnt care less. Im a AAA member so I thought they would try to work with me but they didnt. So thanks to Jim for making a bad car experience even worse.
