I would highly recommend that they take the 24 hours off of their front door because the doors lock after the staff leaves. Normally you use your key card that you get With the membership you paid for to get in, however for almost 2 weeks now these cards do not open the doors. The only way to get in is to wave someone down who is already inside to open the door. It’s a waste of time and money to pay for something that does not exist. About a week ago I asked the manager about it and she said that they had fixed it. I went back that night and it was still not working. I go through the same process of waving someone down and waiting for 10+ minutes. I went in this morning when they had employees there and was told that most likely people say that the doors been fixed but it hasn’t. I asked for a new key card and they said I would have to pay for it But it probably wouldn’t fix the problem anyways. So the employees either one have no idea what’s going on or two don’t bother to report the issue to someone higher to have it fixed. I know this is not just me as I had to let in six other people while I was working out, and when I informed employees about it they were not surprised and said that it was a common issue. I’m not sure why I pay for 24 hour access when the entrance is locked to everyone. I usually don’t have too many issues with this place besides stuff that can’t be helped, such as other gym members not putting back equipment, running out of wipes, etc. The workers are like golden retrievers, not really sure what’s going on but just happy to be there. They are super friendly but greatly uninformed.

Love this gym. they are always cleaning even before covid. The staff is super nice and friendly. They are great on answering questions and i believe that is a very important quality for a gym to have!

The gym is nice and good for my goals of body building and competing. But I have no area to check my progress and see myself. Their bathroom are disgusting the sink will be covered in water and smells very bad. And I get in trouble for trying to take progress pictures in the yoga studio where no one is and in the corner out of sight. It’s a shame because how else am I supposed to truly see growth if I have no where to take my shirt of and see my self become better.

Grossly misrepresented online. I was expecting a new gym per the photos that look similar to the maple wood location I frequent. No, nor even close. I get you are remodeling but it said nothing of that on your site. Bathroom was just awful. Sorry, love you guys, but it was a bad experience.

Recently added/updated new equipment. They are currently in the middle of remodeling the gym.Update: Mens bathroom looks great, and the new lights in the machine/cable area are fantastic!

As a business owner, I’m mindful of the managements ability to staff quality employees to represent themselves and the corporation as a whole. I’ve been to many gyms and many locations of Club Fitness. The manager clearly has an eye for great people. The staff greets me by name almost every time I walk in. I was shocked they even knew my name honestly. Thr manger took the time to get to know me personally, which I appreciated. The gym is clean, the tanning beds are clean, the equipment seems to get fixed in a timely manner, and the fridge is always well stocked. Being that it’s a smaller location, I’m super impressed.

The staff was extremely nice. I signed up for the free trial, they werent pushy or trying to lock you into anything. Good selection of equipment. There are a couple cages, at least one olympic platform, and a few more squat racks. Plenty of free-weights. I dont think I had to wait for anything.

Great overall for working out. Locker room could use some repair/updates.

Gym equipments are really nice a lot choices. Staff and people inside was nice and friendly. Everything to bathroom was clean. Highly recommend. :)

Great Gym. Lots of equipment to use. Only complaint about this location is lack of area to move in the free weight area. Would love to have some lifting platforms instead of racks and rigs everywhere. Works for some people just would be nice to have ability to do olympic lifts.

I cancelled my membership from golds gym and they transferred my membership over to a gym that I did not mutually agree to. I emailed them back in November and they have continued to charge my account. It’s in writing and I will be suing them for their unethical business practices.

TERRIBLE customer service. They take money out of your account multiple times a month when it’s supposed to be “frozen”. Unprofessional & rude. Do not recommend.

Always clean, staff friendly and the hours should fit everyone’s schedule.

The equipment there is not safe at all. The staff are extremely rude. They will not cancel a membership unless you make an appearance in person. That being said Ive been trying for almost 8 months now to cancel because Im in the military and they refuse to do anything about it. They gladly charge without helping their customers. Go to planet fitness instead.

Id give it more starts if they had a sauna where I didnt have to drive to OFallon especially considering I live in Winfield.

The General Manager at the moment is very unprofessional and has poor management skills. He has a tendency of making the members and even his employees uncomfortable. He treats his peers with little respect and belittles the people under him. Avoid him when possible. The other employees, however, are extremely nice and create a welcoming environment, they do a wonderful job of cleaning and ensuring your visit is as splendid as possible.

Best gym around, not a lot of competition. Worst complaint I have is that the fob I use sometimes wont work during after hours. Apparently this has been a problem for years. We pay for the full 24hr access and no problems in our billing cycle have occured. Very unpleasant asking for people to let me in while my fob doesnt work.

Not my favorite Club Fitness since the lay put is a bit odd. I feel like the location is not big enough it is still nice though.

Went to cancel my membership and realized I was given false information ahead of time and had to pay a lot of extra fees that I was told I wouldn’t have to pay a few months prior. However the entire time I was trying to cancel the managers were extremely pushy and kept asking why I was leaving and asked me to continue my membership. I was already frustrated and had no intention of staying so it was extremely uncomfortable for me to have someone repeatedly asking me to continue the membership.

Convenient Wentzville location. They expanded into the space next door a couple years ago to almost double their space. Protein bar. Free tanning. Hasnt been crazy busy with Covid-19 social distancing. Staff is wearing masks, but not required for clients. Plenty of sanitization stations to wipe down equipment before and after use. Cant complain!

It could use an update but Im not there for it to look pretty, Im there too sweat, and lift and sweat some more.

Great rates and special deal for Wentzville School District employees. Their competitors cant offer you that. Its worth your time to check them out. Most area facilities have been upgraded recently. Highly recommend!

Really nice gym always clean and if you go late at night there are barely any people there sorta like a normal gym. All the people that workout there are really supportive and will help if you have questions.

24/7 usage there. We have great trainers. Various machines to use. Great for beginners too (hubby&me). Enjoy more than we thought we would.

I like the new updates to this location. It’s just that it isn’t anything special, it’s a bit old and a coat of paint and new pads won’t fix that. Most of the time some of the treadmills are broken or the TVs on those. The weight room needs new AC because it gets horribly stuffy on that side. I pay 20 bucks a month for full access because I want to be able to come late and with the state of things, I think I’m over-paying. However, my biggest complaint lies with the lack of recycling available. I have reached out to the owner on this topic and he assured me that there was ONE recycling bin. It’s treated like any other trash bin. It’s also stuffed into the corner by the door or in the room with the massage chair. I’m sure that all they do is empty it into the same trash with everything else and don’t actually recycle. I stopped throwing my bottles away at the gym and take them home to recycle. Big thumbs down.

They have basically all the machines you need and its a pretty decent sized place, but the cleanliness isnt up to par with Planet Fitness. For instance, when I used one of the smith machines, it didnt feel smooth and fluid when I used it for calf raises. And the bathrooms and locker rooms are pretty nasty and small. The staff is pretty great from what I can tell. Its a little bit too busy for my liking but there are times where it slows up so you can get in a proper workout with variety.TLDR: I like it, but the upkeep should be better.

Clean, affordable, love it! One thing I dont care for is that they put an hour limit on the childcare room in the mornings. I dont live that close to the gym so I can only get there 3 days a week, I want to be able to work out for 45 min to an hour, tan and maybe use the message to loosen my muscles. How the heck am I supposed to get that done in an hour!? Wish it was a 2 hour limit or at least 1 1/2.

Men locker room is bad. I would never sit on those toilets with or without a cover its really that bad. The equipment isnt bad have everything you would ever need and its almost never broken down. HATE that there not someone there the whole night . I would like a shake after my workout at midnight.. Overall its not bad

Nothing is more irritating than when you pay for the 24 hour membership and the card reader access does not work. Nothing is more irritating than trying to work out at 3:30am and the card reader does not work. Management seems to care less. This is a consistent problem with the Wentzville location...so please tell me why Im paying for 24 hour access, yet only have access during normal hours?

Decent equipment plenty to choose from. The music selection isnt my thing so you might want to bring your own.

Its hard to rate these on anything other than available equipment and people who work there. This spot has everything and yes, I do have a membership here and have for about 3 years. Pretty much everything for whatever you want to work on and its all in good condition. They also have child care and a tanning area.

BEWARE!!!! Justin is the general manager at this location now and at his previous location in Creve Couer he intentionally screwed us over and ended up costing us way more money than it should have. He lied to us repeatedly and we thought he was being helpful at the time....he is not and watch out if you deal with him. MAKE SURE HE SHOWS YOU EVERYTHING AND READ EVERYTHING SO HE DOESNT SCREW YOU ALSO.

Good size gym. Plenty of workout equipment. Prices arent bad for membership. They have Wifi for patrons but dont seem to work very often.

The equipment that they have either needs to be replaced, repaired or just taken care of by the staff. I have asked multiple times about the Olympic lifting bars being replaced due to the fact they are bent and can endanger a lifter because of rolling weights. Ive asked when thsee pieces of equipment would be replaced or fixed and have not seen results 3 months later. Empty promises.The staff are nice though and the place is consistently clean.

Ive been going to different Club Fitness locations for three years now and this is among the nicest Ive found. The renovation a few years ago did a tremendous difference!

A little crowded in the morning, but not too bad. Could be a little cleaner, but definitely not the worst. Overall nice big gym with a good variety of equipment. The Wi-fi is present but locked and staff doesnt seem to know the password.

Be careful using CLUB FITNESS! They will change there contract without informing you. GET A PAPER COPY OF YOUR CONTRACT.The Wentzville location is dirty. Plant fitness is clean and they dont change CONTRACT. BAD-BAD-BAD Think twice before you let them start drafting your money because they will not give it back.

Equipments in good condition, the place is clean and the staff is nice. However they have the smallest amount of weight plates I have ever seen in a gym. Get some more weight plates!

I have changed my previous 4 star review to a 1 star review. This company keeps getting worse and worse. I have gone to this gym for 6 years and whoever the upper management is, general manager is, is awful. I asked if i could just get a cup of water and they said they would have to charge me 50 cents for a cup of water! I asked why cause again i have been going here for 6 years and every now and then I forget my shaker cup and it has never been an issue and they said the general maneger watches them on camera and will call them if they do that..... this company has one of the highest turnover rates I’ve ever seen because whoever runs this company clearly treats their employees and members horribley. I dont know who is in charge of cleaning time at this gym but they honestly choose to do it at the busiest time which just makes the cluttered gym more cluttered . None of this is poor employees strictly poor management . The only reason i still go to this gym is because it is the only weight lifting gym in wentzville really. I hope one day a golds or a better run gym gets built in this town

HORRIBLE!We signed up in December w/the package of tanning, 24/7 access. After signing the contract, we were told that tanning is now $30/month extra. We specifically asked if there were any price changes occurring in January and were told not that they know of.On Top of that, Day 1 my boyfriend straps were stolen!!Machines are old and dirty. Its fine if you want a basic workout.Young staff and manager at night seem very disinterested in accommodating needs of clients. In fact, when we were there, the male manager avoided us and our concerns!

Nice gym but ALWAYS crowded. Id rather go to a worse gym so I can get a machine or bench without waiting for an hour.

Great place to work out, several machines and free weights, the only thing holding back 5 stars is that it can often be over crowded.

Wentzville certainly isnt as nice as the Saint Peters location. However, my biggest issue with all Club Fitness locations is that they dont provide you a clean towel to wipe down your equipment. In the past, you had a dish rag that was reused over and over. Now, you have a blue paper towel that you reuse over and over. Its disgusting to pick up a wet towel to wipe down equipment when you just saw the person before you soak up a gallon of sweat with that same towel. No idea how that seems ok to CF...

Me and my wife called to enquire about a gym membership with them that they advertise is 10.00 a month with NO contract! After looking into it more they tell us that they will need our credit card information. They explain that if we dont cancel they will charge the credit or debit card the 10.00 balance, however you can cancel anytime. I explain to the guy that this is a contract then and he argues with me that NO this is an agreement. Anyone who has any clue nos that a contract is an agreement. Needless to say I got nowhere with him. It boiled down to since we dont have a debt or cc card we would either have to pay 10.00 per day or pay for two years in advance. This is not right!! Dont be fooled by there rhetoric. Companies such as this that dont disclose all the facts up front cant be trusted!!

Its rediculous that I pay for a 24 hour access but yet everything isnt available. Tanning hours are 5 to 930. Weekdays which doesnt work with my work schedule. -and from 7 to 530 weekends. Which pisses me off. Its the weekend . When most people try and catch up. Weekends atleast should be open longer hours

I am in town for a month, and was looking for a gym. They were completely unhelpful. If you want a month to month contract you cant add child care or classes. They tried to pressure me into buying a year contract and just cancel it for another $60 at the end of the month. Ive never been to a gym that was so unwilling to make accommodations for patrons. The kid I spoke to was unable or unwilling to give me more details about their membership options, then just huffed when I suggested they might be able to do a temporary membership with daycare. He was one step away from rolling his eyes. The rest of the staff was nice. The daycare was overcrowded.

Some are better than others. It does have. Contractual Agreement! The Granite City location is a joke with mostly people that are looking for a place to hang out and destroy the place. Many of their machines are broken. Wood River is like the Taj Majal compared to GC. And St. Peters one is busy but clean. Only went to latter once. $10!!!!! Dont expect the moon. Anytime says they Upgrade their Machines Alot. Check em Out

Floor looks as though it hasnt been vacuumed very often. Theres hair, dust bunnies, water bottles on the gym floor for days. We workout there daily -- same dirt, dust on the floor. Disappointing.
