Weve used Parker County Automotive for years. My husband had an engine rebuilt there and it was pristine. Ive had multiple things done, and my daughter had her car fixed all the way from Graham, Texas. Each time, they surpassed our expectations and always did exactly what they said they would do - but better than we expected for our money. Great work very professional and priced with in reason.

Car went wonky and went into limp mode twice. Multiple codes shot out so it took a bit to figure out which code was the issue. Once they figured it out, they got it fixed. Even though they were swamped, they got my car fixed in a reasonable time. Second time they could not fix the issue, but they were able to refer me to a transmission shop. I was treated like a valued customer and they went above and beyond in helping me get my car fixed. They have earned my loyalty.

My car was number 9 on the list for diagnostics. Since they had to wait for the parts for the other cars, they were able to get to mine quickly. It was only in for a day, when I thought it would take several, with so many ahead of me.They always take good care of my car when I take it in. This is where I come for my car repairs.

I came in and asked for a diagnosis and I got a clear idea of what was wrong with my car and how much it would cost to fix it. I was initially worried that it would cost too much or they would recommend unnecessary repairs, but neither happened!!!

I will never take any of my vehicles elsewhere. This place is by far the most honest and trustworthy shop that produces phenomenal work. They have worked on our bmw, rebuilt the entire front end of our dodge 3500, and most recently rebuilt the motor on my 1970 camaro drag car. They do it all and they do it well. I can not say enough good things about this shop, and encourage you to take your business to them!!

These guys are amazing! I brought them my cursed 1974 corvette and they brought it back to life. It has never run better. They took the time to trouble shoot every problem and just did it right. I highly recommend this shop.

Parker County Automotive is AWESOME! They are very friendly and exceptionally fair. They only charge you for work that needs to be done, and at a fair price. They don’t charge you to diagnose or find the issue. We’ve been there twice and both times I came away feeling like I should write them a “Thank You” card for such great service. Had a Mustang (69k miles on it) brought in Parker County Automotive to be looked it over as it was being sold to a young lady. They basically said that the vehicle needed more work than the car was worth, which made absolutely no sense as the car drove perfectly with no notable issues Other than an obvious water leak. It was also very strange that they recommended replacing parts which either don’t wear out or were nearly newThe car was then brought to the local Ford dealer to have all of these items tested:Alternator: Tested and working properly.Serpentine Belt: Zero wear (had been replaced 200 miles previously)Shifter assembly: Working properly.Tie Rods: One showed a little play, but replacement not recommended by dealer.Sway Bar Links: No issues found by dealer.Upper Strut mounts: Zero notable problems.Struts: working properly, replacement not recommended.Evaporative drain tube: Drains under car and is common for it to get muddy. No problems caused by such issue.Engine trouble codes: None present, but as there were no battery or alternator problems, their notes make no sense.Zero signs that the car was ever flooded or submerged in water. There was water inside the car (see below).Now for the bigger issue...Not only did they name a slew of parts that needed replaced (none of which needed replaced), but they completely missed the one obvious issue that the car did have:There was standing water in the rear floor board. They attributed this to the condenser drain line. Not only was it 32* that morning, meaning that the A/C had not likely been run long enough to cause that much condensation, but it would not possibly drain to the rear seat with no water in the front.The actual cause of the water was the fact the rear window had become completely detached from the convertible top... which they somehow missed completely!It should also be noted that the power seat did not work, yet they failed to notice this either.In short: The car had some problems. None of which were discovered by Parker County Automotive; however, they did recommend several thousands of dollars in repairs which even Southwest Ford states were completely unnecessary.I’d love to hear their explanation for all of this...

My daughter was driving from Ft Worth to home in Stephenville when her car overheated. Despite having proper coolant she couldnt drive home. My other daughter and I live in Sherman. We went down the next day and tried to figure something out. We couldnt afford to tow it to either Stehpenville, or back to Sherman to the only mechanic Ive used for years. This place was very apologetic that they were so backed up and couldnt say how long before they could even begin to check it out. My mechanic was going to tow it back to Sherman with his own truck, but due to a family emergency he had to cancel and didnt know when he could do it. We waited a week, and he still wasnt able to do it, so we went back here. They were quick to get it taken care of, only two days. More than fair priced, honest. Just how it should be. We werent told there were major problems that would cost us a bundle. The car is doing great. I cant thank these guys enough.

Honest people. Have taken my vehicle there multiple times and have never had an estimate that as bad. As a matter of fact, took the vehicle there thinking I had a brake issue and they checked it out for me at no charge and didnt screw me over by saying I needed a brake job!! They are a busy place, so be prepared to leave your vehicle, but they will take care of you!

Parker county automotive is simply the best in all of Parker county ! Unbelievable customer service, very reasonable and above all HONEST! My wifes A/C went out and it was looking like a very expensive job, Jason and his crew found a simpler solution and went that route to fix it! They could of easily charged the expensive route but stayed HONEST! Extremely honest and trustworthy as I will only take my vehicles along with my kids vehicles to them for generations to come! Great shop. Seem to be honest mechanicsUPDATE: went and had my oil changed somewhere else and they recommended a brake flush! I just had a brake flush 3 weeks ago here at Parker County. It was over max level, moisture reading was over 4 (they showed me) and other company said it looks like it had not been touched! I will be calling Monday morning to refund my brake flush!

We had a tough case. Husband is an engineer and we have scan tools. We knew the trouble codes so could narrow the search. Husband replaced many things but the problem still persisted. Greg and crew got us in and out same day. Problem solved. I trust these guys, and they gave us a roadside assistance warranty.

Discovered that I had bent wheels that were missed by a dealership. Very courteous and genuinely interested in earning my business. Ive never seen a crew of techs this happy and energetic anywhere. Nice waiting area, a couple of ladies were waiting with me. This illustrates a place that makes people feel welcome and comfortable. Trust me Im never wrong about a place.

Only giving 1 star because Im required. They will charge you $100 just to look at your vehicle and do a shoddy diagnostic which they claim is stellar. If it was so good, I shouldnt have to bring my car back 4 times to get it fixed. That $100 doesnt go toward any repair either. They will tell you they are awesome; look at all the customer cars in the parking lot. The mechanic that called me recommended the opposite of the front desk guy, which was, Only fix whats necessary. When I got the car back, it immediately resumed its symptoms, as if it hadnt been worked on. They also replaced the ignition coils BUT DIDNT EVEN RECOMMEND replacing the spark plugs, which an alternate shop basically said was a no-brainer. They did afterwards offer to replace my plugs for ~$400 more! Also, their guarantee isnt that they will fix your vehicle for the price they tell you - its just that they guarantee that the work they do is the work they did. So, dont be alarmed if you have to go back a few times and pay a lot more than you first thought. It seemed like predatory business.When my father went there, they broke a bolt on his exhaust and then charged him for them to fix it. Sigh.Overall, Im super disappointed with them.

These guys are AMAZING! I used to take my car there about 5-6 years ago, and as a 20 year old female I hated taking my car to get fixed. However, these guys are honest and do great work that is very reasonably priced! Now I drive from the far side of Granbury to get my car fixed by them because I wouldnt trust it to just anyone! I cannot sing any higher praises for a service organization. I worked for a dealership many years ago, so I know from the inside what they have to deal with. These guys are GREAT!. They worked diligently, off and on, for a week trouble-shooting an electronic issue in my 18 year old BMW. They coordinated with the regional dealership to identify the issue, and kept me posted on the progress. Ill go back again. Next time I hope it will be something less complex. Friendly, clean & courteous!

I have been taking my vehicle to Parker County Automotive for 5 years now. They are the only auto shop Ive ever been to that hasnt attempted to outright lie to my face, or try to slip in extra fees, tell me I need work that I dont, ect. On top of that, theyre also the most reasonably priced in the area! Greg has always been kind and courteous to me and my family, and has always taken the extra time to address any of our questions and concerns, without trying to rush us for a decision. Fair and fast with a family feel

Came in with an overheating engine, spent $25 and went home with a PT Cruiser working better than when I bought it. Another mechanic probably wouldve told me I had other problems than an electrical issue and charged me to replace those. I wasnt there for very long and got back on the road while I was visiting town, with cold AC.

Came in for an AC recharge and was amazed at how cooperative, quick, and affordable the service was. I will definitely be returning

Great place with great people running it!Was driving to California and lug nuts started falling off on a friday afternoon. Drove to the nearest garage which were these guys. Despite nearing closing time (or just after) the guy behind the counter installed the wheel nuts I bought in a nearby ORiellys free of charge. Theyre probably the reason I reached California without my wheels falling off. Very much appreciative of the assistance and friendly service, which was probably a small thing to them, but it was a big thing to me.
