This was no small feat because I flew from VA to WI to get a 6-speed Crosstrek in the color I wanted. Our salesman Charles did a great job. He answered all of our questions, and if he didn’t know the answers he went to the people that did. I felt like it was more of a conversation with Charles instead of just a sales pitch. He was knowledgeable about the features in the car, and did a great job explaining them over and over. Mike the sales manager was professional and straightforward with us. We felt we got a fair deal. All in all, it was a very easy process.
Great spot for parts but avoid the service center. Took vehicle in to have a failing fuel pump replaced and dropped off a trailer hitch set to get installed as well. Was specific to state, I wanted A quote for labor first. Get a call that it’s done and cost me an extra $300 for a hitch install that left my exhaust leaking and crooked with a bogus response when I asked why I never got a call.Second visit a month ago for a misfire, car towed to Wilde. I was told the engine was bad and quoted almost $7000 for a used engine install on a 10 year old car. Valve contacting the piston, even though timing never jumped. Ended up declining the repair and picking it up myself because it didn’t seem right even though the tech swore up and down she saw the damage herself on a scope.Took the heads off, no contact; no valve damage, bad head gasket. Long story short, Get your stuff double checked beforehand elsewhere.It can save you thousands of dollars by not taking your car here.
AGAIN....another EXCELLENT experience with Wilde Subaru. A year later, I decided on another new car. Wildes staff goes above and beyond to get their customers THE best deal and provide the best experience. A special shout out to Christian in Finance, Jeana my Business Manager, Kay Frick, my Saleswoman and last but NOT LEAST, Dan Burke (his wife is my best friend) who all made this more than an unbelievably great purchase.
It is really hard to get a Forester these days. We had gone to another dealership who gave us an insulting offer on our trade-in, and then sold the car in the color we wanted before we came to an agreement on our negotiation. I had decided to cut my losses and choose a white one. Until I spoke with Mike at the Brookfield location, who kept me updated on the anticipated stock. He informed me that one was coming in the color I wanted. I told him Id like the car, but I was worried they wouldnt agree to the same deal on my trade-in that the other dealership agreed to. He assured me theyd work with me, so I took a gamble and withdrew my deposit with the other dealership, and put a deposit down with Mike. I had to wait a month for my car, and I was trying not to allow myself to get excited, as Ive been burned by dealerships in the past. The day came for me to get my car, so I went in fully expecting to leave disappointed (who knows? Maybe theyd say they no longer wanted to offer the same for my trade-in). It went exactly like Mike said it would. Josh, who helped us with all the paperwork, was a pleasure to work with as well. We left in our brand new Subaru, and I am overjoyed!

Best of all, Hans listened to my wish list and questions about the newest information system. Our car-buying experience with Wilde Subaru was probably the best experience we have had in our lifetime of car purchases. After spending several minutes on their lot, and not being ambushed by a single salesperson, we entered the main building to ask for help. We found this to be a better experience than being approached by someone because it gave us the time to look around and talk amongst ourselves. We were greeted by a woman at the desk, asked how she could assist, then paged someone to meet us at the front. Alex K. came to assist and was very easy to work with. He answered all of our questions but sat back and was not eager to sales pitch (we do not like pushy salespeople - that will actually cause us to walk away). We test drove the Subaru Ascent while our vehicle was appraised for a trade-in value and decided to proceed with the purchase. After receiving our appraisal, we negotiated the offer amount and a manager came out to discuss our negotiation. At this time, they disclosed their value in transparency and desire to cut to the chase to avoid negotiation. Eventually, we settled on an amount but I want to emphasize their level of professionalism and courtesy during this time. I was impressed by their manner and appreciated their honesty as well as respect for our concerns. The remainder of the time spent doing paperwork was such a positive experience. They truly stand by their commitment to treating their customers like family - through it all we were laughing, sharing about our kids, and talking about personal endeavors in things such as photography. We would highly recommend Wilde Subaru for anyone looking to purchase their next vehicle.

I bought my Subaru from another dealer but I have been coming to Wilde Subaru for all my services over the last 2 years. I have to say my overall experience with Subaru services have been terrible. They have so called “express” service and there is not a time that I wait less than an hour. I then try to schedule all of my services ahead of time instead of just going for express service but the wait time isn’t any shorter. The usual wait time for all of my scheduled services are at least 2 hours. And I was told that there’s no loaner car provided for a regular service. I love my Subaru Forester but for the overall service experiences with Subaru I will not consider getting a Subaru again for my next car.
The Forester was listed as Certified Pre Owned. Called multiple times & was shuffled around it was confusing & time consuming. I went to test drive the car I got Jerry they would not transfer me to the agent I requested. He was not helpful & if you look at the website no one on staff is named Jerry. He discouraged me from coming in. When I got there he told me not to take it on the highway & said to take it on a side street where I could get it up to 65mph. He wanted me to speed in a residential zone.After the test drive I told him the car had dings, dents, & scratches that should have been fixed in order for it to be certified. He said the car is certified so there is nothing wrong with it. He didnt know what the standards for certification are, said he was a people person, he didnt know anything about cars, & told me to go to lunch. I did not find him to be ethical, competent, have any work ethic, or care about the customer.Since I posted the review Wilde has sent me a letter notifying me they informed the Federal Government that I purchased the Forester in cash. Because this occurred right after I posted the review I consider it intimidation. As a result I want to share the rest of my experience with Wilde.After leaving the dealership I sent an email to the online sales person with photos about the cosmetic issues that violated the certification. He assured me it was something that would be fixed prior to me picking it up.I was then sent to accounting who kept me in the office for over 1 hour trying to sell me an extended bumper to bumper that I repeatedly refused. It was a great irony to waste this time on the bumper to bumper when the car already had cosmetic issues violating the certification & bumper to bumper. She handed me a pre checked check list to sign they would not allow me to do it in person & check it off after inspecting it myself.I picked up the vehicle the following day. After getting home I noticed the cosmetic issues I documented had not been fixed. In addition I found more issues such as rust at the bottom of the passenger & driver door, & rust on the trunk door all are a violation of the certification. The checklist stated there should be a cup holder. If you notice in the picture I included there was not a cup holder provided.A few days later a tire went flat. Car X told me that all four tires were separating so it couldnt be repaired. Separating means that when you look in the channels of a tire it has cracking & the tire could fall apart at anytime. Driving with tires that are separating is unsafe.The issues/tires should have been fixed prior to being listed as certified, allowing customers to test drive & being sold. Due to the ongoing issues I requested a refund. I dont think they ever inspected the vehicle to ensure it met the Subaru Certification or was safe to drive. Wilde refused to refund me. Other dealerships have a return policy. Regardless of policy if they had any concern for the customer they would have refunded me. A Wilde employee told me they are not required to disclose that they do not have a return policy. After purchasing the vehicle I began receiving unwanted robo calls, emails, & paper mail for an extended Subaru warranty from a non Subaru company.If you read the response from the dealer you can see they are unwilling to accept responsibility for the issues & so was Subaru when I escalated it to them (false advertising, operational dysfunction, unethical practices). The pictures dont lie. You can see from the dealer response he thinks its the customers responsibility to fix the issues. When I told them about the stain on the seat they said to hand wipe it rather then we will detail it. If Google Reviews didnt have a character limit I would include all of the correspondence. I also dont believe their Google rating way above the average and doesnt match the service I received. Good customer service is about the effortless experience.

Honestly almost didn’t buy a car here due to lack of follow up from one of the sales consultants a few weeks back. But I got lucky to have bumped into the new kid Charles. He did everything I could have asked for and more. Patient. Funny. All the other guys around Charles were also very entertaining to help pass the time and make buying a car as fun as it can be.
Sales person very friendly and knowledgeable. Good at selling. Felt like we got a higher model then we needed. I feel like we didnt get the best deal. Went from 15,000 to 12,000 miles for leasing to get the price where we wanted. Feel we gave up to much. Love the car though.
We purchased our 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited from Wilde during the whole car shortage fiasco. We were able to work with Ryan S. in acquiring a Crosstrek that we wanted in the right color and trim level. Transaction was smooth and went without a hitch and we were in/out with the vehicle. A last minute change/update had to unfortunately be made that complicated things a bit but we were able to take care of it prior to picking up the vehicle. Overall, good experience.
It was a simple oil change, had an appointment at 7am, was told an hour, then less than an hour.... 8:45 I finally got back to my car, they were nice and cordial, I could of gotten a ride to work but the initial time given didnt seem like it was necessary... also I know its subaru and they are pet friendly but the floor had hair that was very visible early in the morning 🐶✌

Traveling through from out of state, check engine light came on and stopped at service. Didnt expect any repair done we simply wanted the computer code read for us so we knew what we were dealing with. Very rude reception after explaining situation and was told we needed an appointment. Service tech reluctantly went to look for master mechanic to read. After 20 minutes informed no master mechanic available. Went across street to ORiley where a teenager(not master mechanic) came out and read code in 30 seconds.

I bought my car from here. Good purchase experience. Service....not so much. My wife and I both have our Subarus serviced here, and it has been a very bumpy ride. The tech over charged my wife by at least 40.00 on two small tail light bulbs that I would normally take care of in less than five minutes. The service adviser on Saturday didnt want to talk to me about that experience, just wanted to take my money for my oil change. Then they called me to service that same oil change a week later. There is a major disconnect at this dealership. I recommend Sommers in Mequon. My Wife speaks highly of them!

So far, so good. Alex was a good sales associate. I formative and personable.Hit a snag...we have had to call 5 times after the vehicle arrived to try and setup the delivery with no success. The 1st time seemed that the salesman didnt know what was going on claiming the car didnt arrive. He promptly called back and stated it did indeed arrive but wasnt sure if we could pick it up and told he would check and call back but never did. We were told each time that someone would call us back but no one did. All we ask is for honesty. If the vehicle wasnt ready, just say that! The last time we called, the salesman nor the sales manager returned our call. Very disappointing. We will see what tomorrow brings.Finally got delivery. Wouldve given a better rating if there was better communication and sense of urgency.
We had a wonderful, very educational experience with Kailee at Wilde Subaru. She was knowledgeable, helpful and very thorough in her explanation of all the Subaru Forester features. We were never rushed or hurried throughout the entire process. She was a master at her job including sales and electronic/phone set ups. She even installed the new license plates..Steve in the finance department was also thorough and explained everything despite the many details.
We cant say enough good about our entire buying experience at Wilde Subaru. We leased a 2021 Outback and it was our first Subaru. So far we are loving it. Our sales associate was Belmir Salihovic and hes amazing and very knowledgeable. We found our vehicle online and worked out the details by email with Belmir. Our vehicle was ready and waiting for us when we arrived as was Jena in finance. The process was quick and we were very well taken care of. We drove a little over 2 hours for this vehicle because of the absolutely amazing price we got that no local dealer could even come close to. Thank you to everyone involved in our buying experience.

I have been looking for an awd sedan for awhile now... on a whim my 3 kids and I stopped to test drive a Legacy. I went in and asked for someone who emailed me about it... he wasnt there. So Hans helped us. I fell in love with the car immediately. He stayed later than his work day so I could come back and purchase it without my children (kids and dealerships dont go together). He had all the money stuff figured out and we bought it the same day. He had the car cleaned, filled my tank, helped me get the app, showed me all the features, and synced my phone to the car. He responds to texts immediately and such a nice guy!! Id recommend him to anyone! Thank you for a great car buying experience!!!

Brought my daughters car in for a simple oil change that took quite a while. But also needed to get a duplicate key made, they did end up making it but didnt even bother to check if it worked. I did before leaving and notified them. But more importantly, as I waiting there, they seemed to be understaffed, not very well managed from my perspective. Customer service skills were lacking big time when I first pulled up, had to get their attention away from their cell phones/computer so I could be waited on. Overall, I just didnt get a good feeling of being comfortable that my vehicle was looked at appropriately. Based on this experience, I will drive further away to a different dealer to avoid that experience.UPDATE: I decided to give them a 2nd chance (Failed again) and took my car back to get a set of tires, alignment and oil change. I previously called to set up an appt for the service which was at 7am. The advisor quoted me 1.5 hrs for the tires and 1.5 hrs for alignment (a bit long but ok....). Then asked if I planned to wait or they will call me when finished. I decided to have them call me. WELL.........I dropped it off and met with the Advisor at 7am, around 1:30pm with no communication from them at all, decided to call figuring they were too busy to call to let me know it was done. NOPE! 6 hours later - they just finished the tires and hadnt even done the alignment yet! I got there around 3pm, so the fact I wasnt waiting in the lobby (even though I had an appt), they decided it wasnt a priority. Granted they gave me a discount on the cost (they should because they screwed up) that doesnt discount the fact that their service dept still stinks and needs a re organization. Pete Erkkila - you should be ashamed of how that place is run. This solidified my gut feeling that this place is not run very well. Because they forgot about my car (even though I had an appt), they supposedly found something with the steering that should be looked at and was a concern apparently. Well, they didnt tell me this until I was paying and the car was already out because of them taking 7.5 hrs to do a supposedly 3 hr job. Never again......do not trust this place for service work. Who knows how good they did because they were rushed after I called 6 hours later and it wasnt done.

I have never driven a Subaru before and really didn’t know anything about them. Alex Korotko offered great knowledge and information concerning multiple Subaru Models. Alex made the process not seem so long and boring. He was friendly, funny but most of all super helpful. After visiting many dealerships and test driving a bunch of cars, I still had the Legacy on my mind. Not to mention, Alex’s customer service far exceeded any other salespersons we dealt with that weekend. We eventually ended up buying the Legacy and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Jackie Cobey provides excellent customer forward sales service. We figured it out the other night when I was picking up my new 2021 Subaru Forester--this is the 7th Subaru I have purchased through her. Jackie is dedicated to working with the customer to get the vehicle that works best for them. And she is always there with a friendly greeting when you stop in for service.SPEAKING OF SERVICE: All four of the service advisors -- Curt, Gary, Mike, and Ryan -- are top notch. Over the years that I have been going to Wilde these advisors have kept my Subarus running and have kept me on the road. My previous Forester, a 2012, had 276,000 miles on it thanks to the care these four Service Advisors gave it. You couldnt ask for a better service department, and Im looking forward to entrusting my 2021 Forester to them.
I was originally being helped by David in sales and it started out good. He asked a few questions, what I was looking for and told me he’d get right back to me. I waited for a call back, called him when I was free which was an hour and a half after I just talked to him to see if he had any updates on the crosstreks in black, when I called him he said “if I don’t call you back in 10 minutes then don’t call back”. My mouth was open when he said that and I was in so much shock that someone would say that to a customer who’s just looking for a vehicle. I called back and asked for a different salesman. Ryan was amazing! He did his job by helping me find the Subaru I wanted! Thank you Ryan for going above and beyond and helping me find my dream car!

We were very pleased with the help we received from our salesperson, Michael Frank. He listened to our needs and helped to steer us in the right direction. His suggestions actually saved us money, rather than adding to the cost. There was no pressure to add extras. We appreciated Michaels help in what could be a very stressful time.
Saturdays are busy but sales people were attentive and not pushy. We looked at many different vehicles for our 16 year old son with no intention of buying that day. The sales reps were all friendly and willing to answer our questions.

We called ahead to report which vehicle we wanted to drive/purchase; it was waiting for us, warming up, when we arrived. We did not feel pressured, we felt Corey was very open and honest. Wilde Subaru had the vehicle we were looking for, with the options we wanted, in the color of our preference in stock. Their price came in lower than other comparable vehicles of different makes and models we had test drove. The salesman, Hans Schneiker, along with the dealerships entire staff were out going and accommodating without being pushy. Everyone worked well with us through the whole process, insuring our comfort while we waited for the next step of the purchase process to be completed.

Mike Frank was the easiest salesperson to work with. He was calm, not pushy, explained everything thoroughly, and followed through. I know people that have raved about the the deals at the dealership, and I received a great price, but I was impressed with the professionalism and ease of purchasing. This was my first Subaru, but it will not be my last. Great job from start to finish.
