The adult class was great! I had fun & learned a lot in just one session. My professor, Raul Quintero, was very easy to talk to & I was able to understand proper and improper technique based off his demonstrations. The gym is very clean & organized, and the people were very welcoming. I highly recommend Jiu Jitsu Therapy if you are looking to train!

Coach Raul is an awesome teach and very patient with everyone of his students and willing to help them to improve even after class and their kickboxing is also amazing with coach Daniel always trying to push you harder and improve in you in his craft

Since moving back home (Salinas) from the valley (Modesto), I have been welcomed with open arms by everyone, especially Professor Raul Quintero, and have been training here since August 2020. Nothing but great things to say about this place. If you train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you need to check it out if you are in the area! Best part is that Raul trained under one of my first professors, Samir Chantre Dahas (Ares) for well over a year! He will oftentimes show us similar moves from him and Queixinho (Another former professor of mine) which gives me nostalgia and makes me feel even more at home! Cannot thank Raul and his wife and everyone at Jiu-jitsu Therapy for welcoming me with open arms despite my cross training here and Ares HQ (Modesto). Very similar to my first academy, so its great! Another great thing is that they do a fundamental class with coach Adriana (Rauls wife) and the stretches and techniques there are super helpful for all the other more advanced classes! Its a great mix and environment, I love it and cannot wait to keep training and growing there as I have at Ares BJJ! Thanks Raul and coach Adriana, and my brother Eric for encouraging I go train there! 🙏🙏

Love this place!! You will not be disappointed. Raul is great with my 7 year old duaghter. He explains and demonstrates things in a way that is easy for her to understand and apply. Hes so patient and really cares about each student. He makes learning jiujitsu fun and rewarding for her and the other kids and at the same time making sure they are learning discipline, respect for themselves and others and of course self-defense. He takes the time to make sure each kid is developing. Well be here for many years to come. Love being part of the jiujitsu therapy family!

More than a professional and expert Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, Raul and Adrianna have created an environment where children AND adults are challenged and guided towards martial arts mastery. Watch a kids class and feel the energy and teamwork as today’s youth are molded into strong and sensitive human beings. Watch a local tournament and it becomes clear that Jiu Jitsu Therapy is a formula for success. I am very happy my kids have Raul as an instructor.

My daughter loves going! She has learned so much here. Not only is she developing her jiujitsu skills but as well as respect, patience, kindness, compassion, confidence i could go on and on.
