This was my first visit here. It was mostly disappointing. I got the hot stone pedicure for $30. The massage on my legs was short and very light. The hot stones were not massaged into my legs, just rubbed over my legs. Im not sure if the metal tools are sanitized because they were not pulled out of an autoclave package. I was cut on 2 toes and the polish is a little messy.My gel manicure was $45 and was done wonderfully. Zero negatives about the manicure.

Very clean & did exactly what i asked for my nails. They were EXTREMELY busy after I was seated and they handled it really well getting everyone seated and starting on their nails/toes. Definitely recommend.

This is the best place I have ever gone to. All of my friends from school come here and their nails always look good. I made a mistake of going to another nail salon and spent $75 on a set of nails and they were all messed up. I cried and called Luxx Nails right after and they were able to get me in quickly to redo them. The nails I wanted were $70 and they gave me a discount after I told them about my horrible experience and that I didn’t have enough money. My nails turned out soo amazing and lasted me a full month without breaking or lifting. My technician was a male and he was very gentle. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Luxx Nails for redoing my prom nails!

Seline was absolutely amazing! Her and her staff were wonderful, I had an appointment at 10:30 and even though they were packed they fit me in perfectly. I went with my mom and a friend. My mom is deaf and her whole staff was helpful and patient working with her! Can’t wait to come back for more girls day! Thank you !!!!

LOVE it here! they’re usually busy because of their quality of work, so a little bit of patience goes a long way. But they are worth the wait! After all, there’s a reason they are so busy. They are always the nicest. Even when it’s busy they do everything they can to get you taken care of. They will even have someone come around to start taking color off while you wait. Their nails are the best around, too. I always get compliments on them. They hold up really well and they do a great job of paying attention to detail! Ive ben going here for 3+ years and i’ve never once had an issue and i’ve always walked out happy! I recommend to all of my friends.

Went in on a Sunday. Man brought me back and asked me what color and that was the only thing he asked. He did a terrible job. Air bubbles and was chipping off the tips half hour after I left. They used to do a good job. Sadly not any more. Will not go back again!! I will take my money elsewhere !! Don’t go

Absolutely love Luxx! I’ve been coming here for over two years. Even throughout COVID they took every measure to give the highest quality of service and make sure you’re happy with your manicure or pedicure. I go to Selene and she is absolutely amazing and her attention to detail is perfect. All the technicians are so kind and helpful and listen with any concerns or needs you have for your service.Tips:Everyone in the service industry is understaffed currently, call ahead and know that due to both walk ins and appointments there might be a wait. Nail technicians go through extensive certifications and finding more people to work at salons is NOT easy!When you find a technician you like, ask for their name and get established! Once you can call and ask for a direct appointment with a technician your experience will just get better and better.

Wish I could give zero stars. My mom and I went there i had an appointment at 12:30 and they had one guy working on both of us and then 3 customers walked in and he got up and walked over and just started doing their nails. He said nothing to us. So we sat there and waited for someone else to do our nails. I had an appointment and they just walked in. Then when one girl was done she did my moms nails and I sat there for another 20 minutes until another employee i qsked for coffin shaped and this is what I got then after she filed my nails and then they made me go to a different employee to paint my nails. So I had 3 different people do my nails, Im still confused as to why. The last girl who painted my nails gave me a wicked attitude when I asked her to file one of my nails because there was a chunk on the side instead she filed all of them again and messed them up even more and didnt even fix the problem. Also i should mention that when she did my moms and my nails that she stopped multiple times to text. We had already been waiting for awhile so this just added to it, not to mention its very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place because if you have a crooked nail and you tell them they instantly get annoyed and give you an attitude.

My friend and I scheduled appointments for the both of us at the beginning of the week for 3pm. We came in at 2:45 and didn’t get started on until 4:35pm. I told the staff multiple times we had a scheduled appointment at 3pm and asked when we would be started on. A male worker said 5-10 minutes around 3:30. They took in walk-ins and started working on them before us even though we had been waiting more than an hour on an appointment. On the price board acrylic gel full set was listed as $45. French(what I asked for) was an extra $5. The total should of been $50 with tip, I got charged $65. It’d be one thing if it was quality work but I have air bubbles, terrible line work, and no drilling was done underneath the nails. One of the female workers referred to unhappy customers because of wait “B*tches” to me and my friend. Extremely unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE!!

The atmosphere was great, very clean and well kept. There was an adorable puppy that made it even better. My only complaint would be the cost. For a basic manicure (no massage, or fake nails) and a basic pedicure (with massage and hot towel) it was $86. Definitely not terrible, but it is on the pricey side for sure. If I was staying in the area, I would go back.

The staff is so kind and they always get my nail color and shape exactly how I envision it! Their new location is beautiful and clean. Their hygiene standards are high! I got a manicure 2 weeks ago and took my sister back a few days later for a pedicure. Everyone is consistently masked from beginning of service to end (staff AND clients!) Recommended 💯

The only shop that didnt turn me down yesterday. I had a guy named Ten. He was very nice and gentle with doing my nails. Even though you can tell he was achy and had a long day he kept it professional and did a great job on my nails. Did better then the picture I showed him.. Definitely have a new costumer.

Checking this off my bucket list :( I had a male who was super aggressive with the filing. He filed me raw on a few nail walls. And even caused me to bleed on one finger. He then applied alcohol to it. He was very friendly but my hands are so very sore. Not worth it. I will not be going back. Not even to have my acrylic removed. The tech next to me was nail shaming the customer sitting next to me trying to update her. The customer accepted the add-ons because the tech was not taking no for an answer. Also they have a cash machine. So if you are paying by card you have to do a bank withdrawal that charges you. It only dispenses $20 bills. So exact change is not given unless you request it. Therefore making it easier for them to get a tip. Not pleased at all.

Luxx nails is awesome. Always a busy place but very accommodating for how many clients they deal with on the daily. And always a great job. My nails go thru the grind every week and are still GQ. My 8 yr old daughter is also in love and they always give her what she wants with flair. I wish there were more than five stars to give.

One star isn’t low enough. They were extremely rude and not welcoming what so ever. I thought I’d try a new place since I am out of town.. never again here. My nails would’ve looked better if I did them myself lol. Everyone at the salon working was miserable. I do not recommend what so ever

Wasted my time, took people in front of me. I was told 15 minutes, after I had sat and waited 10 minutes already! They moved me to a chair where no one was working after they asked me to wash my hands, and proceeded to take more walk ins in front of me. Three people were serviced in front of me. I walked out without being able to get my service started because I got tired of waiting. I wasn’t going to allow them to waste hours of my time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Selene has been my go to for years. You give respect, you get respect. I dont know any single person who would go in and demand free services, then turn around and go BACK to do it again. I feel Selene and her employees have been fair in their pricing, professional manner and deliverance of their services. Simple thought, you get what you pay for. I prefer my manicure to look amazing at all times, I am willing to pay for that talent.

Luxx nails is my go to for all things nails. They have plenty of space. They are cognizant of social distancing and keeping themselves and their patrons safe. They are professional and give you a quality product at a very affordable price. They also have an ATM on site making it very easy to part and or tip in cash.

I had a dip manicure done and didn’t have a great experience. The nail tech was on his phone in between every nail he did, very annoying & unprofessional. Not to mention one nail chipped within hours of leaving the nail salon. Hasn’t even been a week and I had 5 broken nails, I ended up just picking the rest off. My dip manicures usually last 3+ weeks! Will not go back, waste of money for poorly done nails.

I went in for a manicure/gel service. I had an appointment, The guy rush through it and didnt cut my cuticles. The nail polish doesnt look great. The only reason why I decided to review them is because when it was time to pay, the lady asked me to use their ATM machine, she said, oh dont worry its only $.50. I did, requested $100 and the machine wouldnt dispense that I amount... I changed to $60.00 the machine started to dispense the money and it stopped at $40.00 ! This is when the lady says, Ill charge your card now!When I asked her if their atm charged me $60 and only gave me $40 she said that only what was given was charged. I then asked her if she has a working card reader why did she asked for ATM. She replied, oh its better for us to get cashNow I am worry that some how my information will be stolen and will keep an eye out for unauthorized transactions. Again, if I dont like a service I just wont return to the place but this whole deal with their ATM/cash has me weary. I just wanted to share my experience.

They did a good job don’t get me wrong, but they was rude to me and a lot of attitude was shown as soon as I walked in the dude said “what do you want” not even a single hello. And the lady who was doing my nails told me I was being complicated my mom told me to leave but I was too nice enough to do that but I should’ve listened to her because I was over charged, and the way they talked to me was unprofessional... and she was also on her phone throughout the entire appointment.. but she did good on the nails but I wouldn’t go back to them since the service was rude and over charging

The lady that checked me put spoke very little English. She overcharged me $20. When I called them they said they had to speak to management and checks their videos and get back to me the next day. That was 6 days ago.

I got the dip powder on my nails which Is supposed to last 2 weeks and up, on the second day of having them I noticed one chipped, on the third day I noticed two more had chipped, it still hasn’t been a week since I’ve had them and 6 of my nails have chunks out of them. I paid $48 for this and I’m very disappointed!! I’ve been here before and my nails were great, only if Tim or Selene does them.

I have been to many nail salons in town and Luxx Nails has to be the absolute best! Today I saw Selene, she did an amazing job! She was able to give me exactly what I was looking for in a reasonable amount of time and for a great price! Very clean, and everyone is extremely nice and accommodating! I will definitely be coming back! Would highly recommend!

After I finally got seated she did my nails and I told her I wanted coffin and before I knew it she cut one of my index fingers short so I let it slide because I didn’t want to redo it and I just thought to myself OK coffin would look good short too. but then in the end my nails kind of turned out more square than coffin but I love the color .

Omg so in love with this place already.. this is the first place I have found in YEARS that actually does the white tips the way I like it. and not with just a white tip nail.. and the owners are very nice and friendly.. very highly recommended... I will for sure be back!!!

Terrible basic mani/pedi. Nail polish on my fingers and toes that the guy didnt clean off, he did not polish to the edges, top coat was uneven or missed in spots, and he left skin snags all over. I could do better on myself at home. When they were drying I could see how bad it was and asked them to look. They admitted it was bad and offered to fix it but after an hour I could not stay any longer, and it did not feel relaxing at that point. They offered no discount or anything. For more expensive treatments it looked like they took their time and did a good job, but even my basic service was over $70 before a tip, and for that I should leave happy, no matter what they service Im getting.

Went in as a family. Couple pedicures and a manicure for the little one. They all seems very friendly and helpful. It was a little hectic and busy, but it may have just been from the time that we went. Overall, good experience, not overly priced. Would definitely go back again.

I LOVED my nails dont get it twisted. I had two problems though my first issue was me calling and them telling me one price then when i get there theyre charging 20$ more than what was told on the phone (OK) secondly they arent too friendly my daughter was asking the nail tech questions and she completely ignored her.. its a business lighten up be friendly were paying you guys money it doesnt hurt to be polite & at least greet

Just moved to the area and desperately needed a gel fill and eyebrow wax. Sherry made my nails look so natural and was friendly and professional! My eyebrows came out great, too! I always get nervous trying someplace new (that theyll make them too thin), but theyre nicely shaped and still full. Ill definitely be back!

For the past three years being at Fort Drum I’ve hopped around to probably three quarters of the nail salons in the area and they were all mostly okay, but I’ve been here three different times with 3 different nail techs and this has hands down been one of my favorite places I’ve been to out of anywhere.It’s clean and modern, everyone’s been wicked nice, and it’s obvious that they take pride in the quality of the work they’re putting out.I get dip sets and definitely push them to their limits like a trash nail wearer and every single time they’ve lasted wayyy past the normal amount of time a manicure should last.Seriously can’t recommend Luxx enough, stop hopping and come here!

Although there was a bit of a wait, I was welcomed as soon as I came in the door and was introduced to the lady who was going to be doing my nails. She spoke PERFECT English which is so hard to find around this area. While waiting I had the opportunity to look around this beautiful new renovation! There is no other nail salon this beautiful! The white and black color scheme with elegant chandeliers really make it seem like you’re sitting in NYC working with top artist. WAfter talking with my nail technician, I think her name was Selene, we went for a seasonal red. I was on edge about getting a design because of bad experiences in the past that ruined the over all look of my nails and expressed that worry.Selene was able to pull up here social media where she has almost all of her work posted for you to view anytime! We decided on a snow flake that she free handed and it was so perfect I was in awe. The professional, welcoming, beautiful environment where you are always taken care of with reasonable prices too!

Tried Luxx for the first time after seeing they had a good rating. I walked in looked at the prices and asked for the $40 callus remover pedicure. Went and sat down and they hand me a menu with all prices. I looked for the $40 one I had asked for and it was not there. So I asked for a $35 classic pedicure. The nail tech and guy working kept trying to get me to pick the $50 or $60 pedicure and I continued to say no and finally took the menu and gathered the supplies. The guy brought the nail tech a tool which was not in sterile wrapping. I went ahead and let them use it on my feet. It concerned me a little by all the skin coming off the body of my feet. After the guy was done he took the tool and washed it off and sat it in the back room. After I left I looked up what this tool was and read about a lady who almost lost her foot and how in most states this tool is illegal to use as it can spread infection. I do not get a pedicure done a lot so I am not sure if this is even legal in New York. Just sharing my experience to warn people this tool is being used and is not being cleaned properly.

The quality on my pedicure and manicure was poorest I’ve ever received. He cut my cuticles without softening or even wetting them which hurt and caused bleeding. They also charged me more than the prices listed and options I pointed to on the menu.

I’ve been going to Luxx Nails since they first opened, and they’re all wonderfully amazing at what they do. Especially being military they know exactly how to take care of you. I highly recommened this amazing salon.
