I have been getting my hair cut here for hears, but unfortunately I have had to switch to another salon. I am high risk for Covid (fully vaccinated plus booster, but still not a risk I should take). Unfortunately they not only dont require their workers to be vaccinated, but they will not even tell you which ones are or arent. And most do not wear masks.So I have switched to the Salon at Ulta Beauty, where all the people who work in the salon are required to be vaccinated AND wear masks. I know it still isnt 100% safe, but it is about as close as it can get.

I booked an appointment for noon, I was going to be a first timer, and I was ten minutes late. I drove an hour and a half to get to watertown. I can’t control the flow of traffic. I came all the way out here per recommendation from a friend. I’m told I won’t be seen, that the waxer (I won’t mention names, unnecessary) won’t have time to do a full leg. So I asked if she could do a half leg and explained to the receptionist I drove an hour an a half to get there and that I was extremely sorry I was late. She went to ask the waxer, and came back and said no that she wouldn’t even do a half leg. So I tell the receptionist it’s for my wedding Saturday and again I drove an hour and a half to get there. She said, “again I’m sorry but no”. I ask, “how much am I going to get charged for ‘missing’ my appointment?” She says, “I don’t know I’m just filling in.” I ask the reception why the waxer couldn’t come out and talk to me herself. Her response, “she’s having lunch.”I’ve never been to a salon that doesn’t have a grace period, but to each their own. So for anyone reading this, make sure you’re there on time because they don’t care how far you’ve traveled or what the occasion is :)

Although the stylist isnt new to my son, the salon was. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but delightfully charming inside. I will definitely continue to allow my sons stylist to care for his hair. She has amazing skills with scissors and shears, even for curly hair. We will be returning customers again and again.

I had Missy as my stylist. Shes absolutely amazing. She clearly knows what she is doing. The results were beyond my expectations.

Mindy just gave me an amazing pedicure! She did a beautiful polish, wonderful conversation, very comfy jet tub chairs with separate pedicure room, and more foot massage/rub than I have ever got in a pedicure before! I tried several places in Watertown and I am happy to have finally found my girl. Will definitely be coming back to try other services at this salon too!

Erin did a fantastic job waxing (genetics has blessed me with lots to work with). Joe gave me the best deep-tissue massage; it was relaxing and completely professional. I will absolutely be back to try one of their many other services.

Get a facial from Erin. They are amazing! Most times I get a facial my face breaks up but I dont break out after with her. I usually have sensitive skin and I have no problems!

They are friendlyThey do french braids, which evidently is a skill most hairstylists up here lack because I called a dozen places and only two had a person on staff that could do it.I had my hair washed and braided wet and was charged $20. The braiding took all of five minutes.Then as my hair dried it turned out she braided loose and they had huge sections that stuck out.Maybe I should be grateful because this forced me to learn how to properly french braid on myself.

A new attitude is wonderful! Staff is always friendly and welcoming. They are great about practicing social distancing and always have a mask on!

When I am in her room she is attentive to my needs as the client and focused on me and my visit. Her room is clean and the services she provides are definitely 5 star worthy!! I’ve had the pleasure of having my hair cut here by Tamy twice. Both times she cut my hair exactly as I was hoping and was delightful company the whole time. Being in the military you move often and it’s hard finding new hairstylists. Tamy is awesome and I would recommend her to anyone. Also, this establishment in general is really nice.

Got a haircut that was nowhere near what I asked for. I left crying and bought 4 hats to get me through the next few months. My hair is too short now to put in a pony tail.. I couldn’t muster up the courage to say anything. The deed was done and I needed to get out. Just really upset.

My appointment was at 12:30 and it was supposed to last 2 hours, so Id be done at 2:30. So, I get there at 1230 and Im waiting for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and then I got my hair started, at 1. I didnt have enough time to get it finished OR cut and I left with a wet head. The stylist was nice and I liked her but time management there is awful

Let me start off by saying Ive had my hair messed up to many times to count, so now I am really weird about letting people touch my hair, I decided it was time to get it cut because it was so long and dead it just needed to be cut, I called this morning wanting to get in today because I knew Id let my nerves talk me out of it, they worked me in to get me in last minute at 4:15, when I arrived I was welcomed with smiling faces, its very spacious and clean and everyone was nice and made me feel at home. However I did have to wait until about 4:35 before I was called back witch is 100% understandable considering I called the same day and they worked me in. Lynn was the lady who cut my hair and she did an amazing job Im not going to lie I was really scared from whats happened in the past but Lynn talked me thru everything and even asked me several times if it was okay to cut my hair this way or if I wanted it shorter or how I wanted my layers cut. I will definitely be returning In the future. Im happy to say Ive now found someone I can trust to cut my hair and would recommend A New Attitude. Very satisfied.

I went to Google Maps to find an Aveda Salon and found New Attitude. It was a nice visit. Professional Staff. They had my product and I got a name for a stylist that does razor cuts. Not everyone can do them. I have very thin, straight hair and have found razor cuts work best for texture.

My daughters and I will be returning to A New Attitude Salon and Spa. I felt welcomed, understood, and relaxed. Lynne Meyer-Johnson did a beautiful job with my daughters hair. She asked many questions to ensure she understood what hair cut my daughter wanted. She is knowledged and pays attention to detail; reconizing my daughters thick stright hair type and using techniques that left a soft, finished, and professional look rather then the choppy mess she walked in the door with. Lynne fixed my daughters hair! I appreciate the hours this salon is open. I appreciate the salons website, with descriptions of each of the stylists, and I appreciate the atmosphere. The salon is a clean larger room slightly divided that gives a feeling of space without feeling empty. I also noted that each of clients there had conversations going and all seemed happy. Worst place my husband has ever gotten a haircut at! $30 for the worst haircut and worst eyebrows! My husband paid To get his eyebrows done and she literally plucked the hair between his eyebrows and that was it! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Will not be going back nor will I recommend! Thought we’d give it a try because they had such great reviews but nope not the case! It looks like she did the birdbox challenge while cutting his hair!

I got a Brazilian and the lady was not vary good. She missed lots or hairs and the wax simply broke most of them instead of waxing so I was hairy everywhere one week later.

I went and saw Melissa and she did an amazing job. I have curly hair and always worry about it being cut too short due to shrinkage when it is dry. She listened to my concerns and made sure to leave a few extra inches to offset. When dried it was the perfect length I was looking for.

Great place to get a gift certificate for your wife mother or girlfriend trust me on this one guys. They offer message packages and if you get her one of those for 1 hour you will be the man.
