My family and I love this gym. There’s a strong family vibe that comes from it. I’m very proud to be part of this school.

My mother and her boyfriend train here. I took my first class today and as soon as you enter you are greeted by smiling faces who are just as excited to have you there as you are to be there . The coaches there are phenomenal. they were so incredibly encouraging, and patient, it was a breeze picking it up because there was no pressure! Great job at creating such an inviting atmosphere . I highly recommended this place

Viana brothers martial arts academy is my 5 year olds favorite place to be! It is a clean, safe and positive environment to train. The brothers are excellent role models and you can tell they love kids. My favorite part is the smile that is on my sons face the entire time he is there! Hands down best place to train for boys and girls of ALL ages! My son was shy and timid this place helped him out of his shell. I’m also seeing an improvement in his Concentration. Go check them out first class is always free 🤗

My son and nephew are attending the kids BJJ and I’m very happy how the coach and staff really have the time and patience to show the children about discipline and the art of jiu-jitsu. I am very happy that my sister-in-law found this spot and it’s close from home as well.

First day in the Viana Brothers gym, already feels like home. Great coaches and people in there, should definitely come here. First day and I already feel better than yesterday.

The Viana family bring the true meaning of love to a Waterbury. They are here for the whole community of all ages & they have a lot to offer for the mind body & soul. One of the friendliest people in the world is the manager who runs this gym. She works as hard as humanly possible to make sure every person who walks through the door has a wholesome experience. Once you get to know her and the coaches, you will come to realize how much of a difference willpower has on creating a successful training camp. They share dreams of running a facility that can transform the livelihood of any person who wishes to join, no matter the challenge. I cannot thank them enough for the amount of hospitality they gave me when I was fearful of trying out something new.Since I started training here I have been highly motivated to push through every obstacle and strive for greatness. The coaches have an undying passion and do everything in their ability to make sure you get the most out of each session. I have never met more genuine people in my life. In addition to the weight loss and phenomenal boost in health I feel a powerful change of outlook in my daily routine. If you are seeking positive experiences sign up to this Academy!I had no prior MMA training before joining and can confidently say I have made great progress due to their expertise. Their knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is awe inspiring. You can feel the presence of greatness when they pass on knowledge they received from the masters of the sport. (that presence may be attributed to the stern look from Hélio Gracies portrait on the wall but we can leave that up for debate)

What started with my son has expanded to our family training here. We decided to enroll our 5 year old son. He is taking MMA and Jujitsu and he loves it. He is learning to be more disciplined and having fun. Classes are full of high fives and smiles. the coach is excellent and our son especially likes being able to not only practice in his own age group but exercise and practice with the older kids. I myself have been training here since they opened I have trained at other schools but this one has the best sense of camaraderie between students and the teachers. My son started to take classes at Viana brothes one month ago and he is learning more than I could have ever imagined. While my initial goal was to have my son participate in an activity to get him out the house and interested in something other than video games .The skills he is learning under Coach Guilhermes direction may one day be needed to protect himself or someone else. My son is excited to practice his skills daily and looks forward to each class.
