I was charged a diagnostic fee of 125.00 and told my breaks, rotors and rear wheelbearing needed replacement to correct the noise I was hearing. A lovely 1500.00 bill. Upon picking up my vehicle a suggestion was made that possibly this did not correct the problem. Well... I still have the noise, I am minus 1500.00 and need to make another appointment to be without my vehicle for an entire day. Who actually knows what the issue is or how much it will cost. This process gets rather frustrating!!

Another phenomenal job by Sharon! On two occasions, she’s proven to be straightforward, well spoken, and goes beyond the scope of her assigned duties to make the experience pleasant. I called her five minutes before closing. I gave her my parameters and by 0830 the following day she had a full lineup put together. Seamless to say the least. As long as I’m stationed in the area, she will always be my first choice!As already stated, Sharon has my full confidence. I didn’t have a positive interaction with the finance and closing side of the house. It is worth noting that I did secure my own financing beforehand, but the vibe with the “closers” per say just felt different. I feed off energetic, confident people and to me it didn’t seem present. Maybe meniscal but I think that’s an important aspect of the car buying experience.In closing, ask for Sharon, secure your own financing ahead of time and interact with closers and finance specialists as little as possible. I’ll return in the future for that Suburban my wife wants!

An absolutely wonder used vehicle buying experience! I would highly recommend Davidson Ford! We were greeted at the door by Sharon and she listened to my vehicles needs. I had previously looked at their website and had tentatively picked out a Ford F-150. My main concern was that it would tow our camper. Sharon looked it up and it definitely would tow our camper! Sharon asked if I would like to test drive it...of course! Sharon put the plates on it and off I went.. It was exactly what I wanted. Went to visit family in Cato New. Stopped in to test drive a ford f150 talked to the sales manager discussed leasing options. He said that he could make it work just had to contact my state for transfer fees. Said he would call me 2 days later. Never heard from him. Tried to call him they always took a message. Lost my business .If you are from out of town dont bother. Thanks for nothing. I appreciate it. Maybe the paper work was too much . Or they dont like outsiders.

They didnt tack on any BS charges, and were forward about the out the door price, with a line item for each tax and fee, certainly something I cant say about my local dealer. We bought a Ford Explorer from this dealership this time last year. Given the current environment this was no easy task. But Matt made the transaction almost seamless, even delivering our new vehicle to us! Fast forward one year later...we had a lease on a Ford Escape that was set to expire in August but we had a need to upgrade into a pickup to pull our camper. We went back to Matt and his sales staff, they did not disappoint. We spent a few hours on a Saturday afternoon looking at new Ford pickups and drove away with a new lease on a new F150. Mark was super informative and extremely helpful during the entire process. We would highly recommend anyone to take the drive to Watertown for your next vehicle purchase.

My experience was less than pleasant. My credit was ran 6 times and was not discussed with me like it should have been. There was damage on the vehicle that wasn’t annotated anywhere. I shouldn’t have to pay for insurance for a car I did NOT sign for yet, that doesn’t make sense. Everything was done in office and not being relayed to us properly. I would give 0 stars, but Nick was helpful and tried to make it right with us. His bosses are the reason we left and he didn’t make a sale today

Everyone was friendly and polite. I purchased a brand new Ford bronco sport outer banks 2 weeks ago today. I was able to drive it home 1 day. The heater controls and the windows stop working. It also popped up like 20 codes. Apparently nobody knows whats wrong with it and Im stuck driving a 2018 Dodge Journey which Im not liking. Then yesterday I was supposed to get another update bit never received call. Not happy! By the way this was the first Ford and probably last one Ill ever buy!

My husband and I went in looking for a truck. He spotted one he really liked and went to get a price. The salesman, though friendly proceeded to waste our entire day by trying to put us in a new truck at the very top of our desired payment. When we didnt bite he brought out the manager who tried to strong arm us into buying a new truck. Flat out told us he wouldnt sell us the truck my husband repeatedly told them he liked. Will never go back. Also, the salesman kept saying if our credit is what we were saying it was. Look buddy. We pay our Bills on time and have excellent credit. You should have sold us the truck we wanted and kept your agenda to sell a new truck to yourself and you would have had a sale and we would have drove the truck we wanted home. Win win. Tip- listen to your customer and dont call them liars about their credit.

I had a great and amazing experience with my recent purchase at Davidson Ford. This was my second vehicle through them, and I had one vehicle through Davidson Chevrolet. I am definitely proud to be a Davidson customer. They have always treated me with respect and make me feel like a valued customer. Jared Barker was my salesperson. He had also sold me my prior vehicle. He was great to work with, easy to communicate with, and not pushy. He worked for the best deal for me and was not trying to push any particular sale to inflate his commission. I would definitely recommend anyone in the market for a new vehicle to choose Davidson Ford and to work with Jared. I will be returning when it is time to upgrade again.Update February 26, 2021: The Service Department was great in contacting me to inform me about a recall on my vehicle. They worked with my work schedule in regards to scheduling the maintenance work required on the truck. They were also accommodating when I asked them to include an oil change that I needed for the vehicle. They were quick and thorough with the work. Again, Davidson Ford came through with flying colors. Not only would I recommend Davidson Ford for vehicle purchases, but I would also advocate for and recommend their Service Department for routine and unscheduled maintenance.

The sales man was absolutely great he told us we could drive the truck right off the lot once papers were signed. The manager LIED! They forgot to tell our salesman that they had done some fixes on our truck and so we went to sign the papers and we couldnt have our old plates on the truck, turns out it wouldnt pass an inspection! The salesman found out as we were signing and so informed us we were driving on dealer plates for a couple days. Took the service department a whole day to run the truck enough so that it would pass inspection. Then they even put the selling mileage on ny inspection sticker, and salesman apologized that he didnt know. I asked him to tell his manger what a BS situation. That he put us in, and that I was not happy at all with the upper management at the dealership. I thought and had heard this was a decent dealership, but only the salesman was nice. Mangement, not happy at all!

I just moved up here from Georgia and I needed to get a Truck that is more suited for the winter weather that up state New York gets that Georgia would never see. I went to previous dealerships around the area and it seemed like no one wanted to help me at all. My old truck was in great condition but it was a rear wheeled vehicle and basically from what I have been told is useless for up here. So I tried one last time at Davidson Ford and I met with Frank Donato. Right out of the gate he was trying every way to help me to get me in the right Truck. He didn’t try to persuade me to get in the most expensive truck they have like other dealerships would of. Mr. Donato was very knowledgeable over ever vehicle and had an answer for every question I had. If he didn’t know the answer he went out of his way to find the answer. Because of Mr. Donato and his team I was able to get the price I wanted for my trade in and the price I wanted for my F-150. I’m very pleased with the truck and pleased with the professionalism from Mr. Donato and the staff.

We had been searching for a new SUV for a couple of months. The search halted due to the current pandemic. We located an SUV we wanted at another dealership but that deal fell through. We located the Ford Explorer we wanted on the Davidson of Clay website but the Explorer ended up being in Watertown. The Watertown Davidson crew went above and beyond to get us into this Explorer we wanted. Matt and Frank were fantastic to work with. They even made arrangements to deliver the SUV to us and take my trade in back with him! So I purchased a 2019 F150 Lariat earlier this year(April 2020), but not with Davidson, still under warranty. I noticed a ratcheting, or grinding noise coming from the vehicle on initial start up. I thought this might be normal for newer vehicles. Unfortunately the noise continued so I scheduled an appointment with Davidson(May 2020). I got my truck back with the technician saying there was nothing wrong with the truck. So I was driving my truck for 5 months while that noise was still there on initial startup. I scheduled an appointment again and got the 26th of October, I left my truck at Davidson the night of the 25th. I show up in the morning and the service rep tells me his technician is behind on vehicles so he asks me if I can come back Wednesday. I ask the rep to follow me outside, with the remote in hand, I start the truck while he is standing there, the noise is there loud as ever. The service rep exclaims Wow, thats not good at all! He gets me set up with a loaner vehicle, for that I am appreciative. Four weeks! later I find out that the technician has finally looked at my vehicle(20 November 2020) and says my differential is bad and they have to find out if Ford wants them to replace components in the differential assembly, or replace the entire thing. Now it is 02 December 2020, I am still in the loaner and I guess the technician is waiting on parts. The technicians need to show a little more focus on quality and timeliness, a customer should not be waiting 6 weeks and counting for their vehicle. The service reps were very courteous but when it came to keeping me updated, I was the one who was making the calls, you keep your customer updated and they wont get upset so quickly. I used Davidson for my last 2 vehicles, but if this keeps up I might have to go elsewhere!

Took car in for a recall and they tues getting me to do work that was no where near the recall. The last time I took my car in for a problem I asked if my extended warranty would cover it and was told that yes it would. When I took it back a week later the warranty had ran out the Sunday before, I guess if they had checked my warranty they would have known that. Took car else where for it to cost me half the price. Last time I paid for the works they didn’t even fill my washer fluid. So unless it’s a recall I’ll take the car else where to get it done.

Not only did I have horrible experience purchasing the car where they attached two cars to my credit and expected me to pay for both . This week I went to utilize the free inspection perk . I made an appointment and showed up early . I waited just over an hour and a half ! People came after me and left before me . JUST FOR AN INSPECTION. Insane .

Stopped by Davidson Ford today after we made a last minute decision for a quick road trip with my elderly Mom and her vehicle (which doesn’t get driven much). So I had a engine problem that was a concern for me. I couldnt make an appointment as it happened over the weekend. So Monday morning I drove them and asked if I can be seen. The representative I talked to was Will and he told me that he will see what he can do as their day was booked. He took my car and got a driver from another dealership to take me home. We bought our son a used Nissan and they willingly performed another round of QA/QC checks to ensure buyer peace of mind? Who replaces a vehicle antenna because they feel the reception wasnt near perfect ...Davidson Ford! I think that is a testament of their attention to detail and going the extra mile. That is just one of the ways they made the buying experience great. Another great aspect I liked about Davidson was that their finance team did not try and push a bunch of additional warranty products on my wife and I.100% satisfied buyers. After being contacted by Ford to leave a review after my recent visit, I am going to be brutally honest. Although the customer service reps at the front section were polite and friendly, the service wasnt great. I went in because I had a tire monitor fault light kick on in my dashboard. The technician took one hour to take the wheels off (I can do that myself with an air gun in 5 minutes or less) only to tell me that the tire sensors were in my other wheels. I switched my wheel base to mount studded tires because the snow storms in the north country can be quite unpredictable.Given the fact that it was my fault for scheduling an appointment without knowing that my tire sensors were on my other wheel base, a service technician should be able to quickly identify that and not waste each others time or money. Needless to say, Ford charged me 100$ for no work on my car being completed. Deciding not to waste additional time later, I decided to knock out a synthetic oil change while I was there, which cost me an additional 90$ for a grand total of 194.94$ according to my receipt. Although the service charge seemed pretty high, I decided to go on my way and let it go.Later when I got home, it just so happens my wife was saying all kinds of great things about her oil change she received at our local Honda Dealership. They gave her a great deal on a full synthetic oil change for 40$. To even top it off, they noticed we owned a dog because the back seats are fenced in above the head rest. After identifying that we owned a dog because of the fenced in head rest, they let her know that they can bring our dog to wait with her in the customer waiting area any time. Comparing the two experiences where my wife spent 40$ and had a great time getting taken care of at our local Honda dealership versus my own, I hate to say this, but I am not impressed with Fords customer service. Customer service is simple and is defined in the name. Businesses should be going the extra mile for their clients in order to maintain retainability and I think that I would dare to say that Henry Ford would not be impressed if he found out about what happened that day.

Had a vehicle under warranty in which road side assistance scheduled to pick the vehicle up and tow to the maintenance shop for repairs (Dead battery replacement). I was notified by ford road side assistance that they had to call Davidson Ford Maintenance to accept the vehicle for repairs, in which it was accepted. I was told to call the maintenance shop and brief them of issue with the vehicle. When I called the maintenance rep of the shop, they had no idea what I was talking about and told me that they wouldnt even get to my vehicle until Friday and it was poor communication between Ford Road Side Service and their department. END RESULT- Vehicle was taken to Carthage in which they will service the vehicle same day.

I had called in to make an appointment for an oil change for a specific day. Chandler had taken my call and was able to get me in on that day. On that day, we had shown up about an hour early. No worries they said, and got use right in. The time frame of getting work done was expected. Was and always pleased with Crystal as the visor even though my paper work stated it was Amber. No big deal on that. Service has always been A+

The staff at Davidson Ford in Watertown exceeded my expectations. Frank, my salesman, was attentive and professional. He went above and beyond to ensure he answered all of my questions and made the buying process painless. Jeremy, in finance, covered every angle to make sure I received the best rate available which kept my payment low, and Matt, the sales manager, was able to price the vehicle much lower than competitors. Note, Davidson Ford closed at 700pm, Frank, Jeremy, Matt and Monika stood till after 800pm to make sure i was able to drive my new vehicle home the same day. Stop by and see them, it is worth the trip.

Our family works only with Davidson’s. Specifically Jarrod barker at Davidson ford in Watertown.a few months before my lease end Jarrod checks in on what I am thinking for our next vehicle. I am very lucky to have a sales man that knows what I want in a car. He sends me options in that model that fit my criteria. We went to the explorer on 2/2/2019 and I was done in an hour and out of there with two kids in tow! Awesome as usual every one is so nice and extremely helpful!

Id suggest people look elsewhere for proper service, these people are unprofessional, liars and cheats. We talked online and attempted to close a sale, when I arrived, they said I would need cosigner, which was never mentioned, they also said the car wasnt for me whatever that means. A car is a car, it takes you where you need to go. So due to their unprofessionalism, we will be taking our business elsewhere, and Id advise others to do the same.

I worked with a Salesman named Jarrod Barker over the last couple of years. I purchased a couple used vehicles Jarrod knows I dont like to play games I told him what I was looking for in the amount I want to spend in the items I wanted on the vehicles he took my information down and at the right time when the vehicles came available he contacted me and both times I purchased both vehicles people work very hard for the money and they dont want to throw it away on items you dont need! Jarrod was working with me and spend time to find exactly what I wanted I appreciate that and this is why every purchase and referral will be to the salesperson! Jarrod keep up the good work!

Went in to Davidson’s for a repair and I thought it was the end for my trusty focus; the model year I own has been plagued with transmission issue. Appointments were booking 2 weeks out for repairs but I left it with them in the hopes they could squeeze it in. Within 48 hours they had gotten it in the shop, diagnosed it, and replaced the transmission control module. Thanks to the factory recall, there was no cost, except for the diagnostic and the focus lives again. Staff was friendly, I didn’t get the sales pitch for a new car despite the fact that I could probably use one, and the whole process was very painless. Amber and Terry in the repair shop were great.I’ve also been to Davidson’s collision center in the last few months and they’ve got a very streamlined process for that as well.

Excellent car buying experience! Highly recommend Davidson Ford in Watertown NY. I had been working with a couple of different dealerships in Northern NY, and had a great deal worked out, but that dealer was a 3+ hour drive, on a whim I thought Id try Davidson. Not only did they beat the price, but they did it with none of the usual back& forth. Within 20 minutes I had a solid offer, and within a very short time I was driving off the lot. To be honest with you, I was somewhat worried do to the fact I am from Pa. I was not sure if I would be able to find a dealership like the one in Pa. were I had service done on the truck prior. I was wrong, Davidson Ford Service Dept, treated me very well, answered all the question I had concerning the problem with my 2016 F150. This car buying experience was one of the better ones in my 60+ years of life. the Staff, especially Chuck, my salesman was pleasant and not pushy. He answered all my questions and was a big help in helping me to get to know my new Escape. In this age, there are a lot of Tech things and features that I wasnt used to.I would also add that the entire staff dressed professionally and were all very cordial and welcoming. They acknowledge you when you walked by by saying hello or giving a nod hello. There was a great atmosphere present and the dealership was clean, neat and comfortable (seating).

Waited over 1 hour for oil change and had not even started yet. They told me it was on lift after 10 minutes. Not first time it took so long. Service manager notified but did offer a solution to get oil change done quickly. If you can drop it off do it. Dont wait
