So my friend and I went to diva for a gel mani and pedi, the same lady that did my pedi also did my mani, but she did a much better job on my toes than my nails. I did get Acrylic on my nails and gel on top of that. I did want them shorter which she did, but as you can see (this is ONE day after) it was almost as if she was afraid to get the acrylic and gel polish onto my skin, so there was no acrylic or polish anywhere near my cuticles and it made them look grown out even on the first day. On most of my nails The acrylic didn’t even cover my entire nail. She missed a few spots with the gel polish and didn’t realize until after I cured them so she put a tiny layer on a few of them and only made me do the light one time and it’s started to chip this morning. I absolutely hate complaining but I spent 50$ on this…. I would really like to send the message directly but there is no email for the business. I just wish I could get my money back or something!!!

I been going to Diva Nails for a while. My experiences got worse and worse. Last time the lady that runs the place did my nails. She injured me, messed up my nail and blamed me for it all! She talks non stop and the employees just roll their eyes. I saw many of their good employees at the place I went today. No more Diva Nails for me.

I went here for my first time and it was great and the second time was even better. Even though I live in kansas Ill definitely be back!!

I asked for a $30 pedicure and the lady talked me into the $40 pedicure, and I was suppose to get the sugar scrub, clay mask and wax paraffin. All I received was the sugar scrub and 2 different oil lotions. Then I got dip powder nails done nd are mediocre...Im use to nails with crisp straight edges that you get from using a thin nail file these nails here are all thick and sloppy on the edges. She purposely went over my cuticles on three of my fingers with the drill making them bleed, then she was finished with both my toes and nails didnt ask me if I like them or nothing just hurried and moved me to dry my nails and started on someone else. No cuticle oil nothing. They are rude. I definitely felt like they dont care about their customers and just the money. Ill never go back. Overpriced for what you receive!

The atmosphere was really dry and I didn’t feel like my services were even wanted. I was never asked what pedicure I wanted. The lady that did my pedicure never asked me what I wanted. There was never an interaction on my service. Not somewhere I will visit again. Had to ask the lady to oil my feet.

Made our appt for 2:15 and didn’t even sit us in chairs until 3:15. Not enough staff to take care of of us along with 2 other clients who walked in. The wrist rest for the manis were dirty. Watched them place new clients in a pedi basin but did not sterilize in between clients.

Lucy told me to come back at a certian time I arrive 15 min before the time that she told me to be the gas approves still no one has giving me service I’m thinking to my self they are a little busy so I have to understand okay another 15 mins go by and 3 more customer walk in Lucy gets done and start to help the other three customer I processed to say something she says oh the other lady will get you these lady’s has appointment I say okay I understand that but you told me to be back here At 6 and here it is 30 mins past I’m still waiting and you let three other lady a head of me. So she go on and say the other lady will help me so I’m waiting again and another lady comes in the other lady that’s supposed to do my nails tell THAT LADY to come sit okay at this point I’m livid because all of the other nails shop in the area has closed so the service was horrible and i honesty don’t think they value there colored customers not trying to make it a race thing but all four of the lady that’s was let ahead of me were white so they will no longer receive my service again it was my first time here and my last

Tina helped me today and I have never had such good service it was immaculately clean..... she gave me such detailed precise service made sure every little inch of my nails were covered I have wide nails and typically I do not get them covered but she made sure every single one was done perfectly and I will make sure that I will definitely come back!

I got my nails done for my wedding & I accidentally scratched the gel on one nail. Lucy let me come in & get it fixed the morning of my wedding after my disastrous hair appointment. The $70 pedicure is my favorite! Tina has done my nails several times & they are always beautiful!

Absolutely the worst nails I have ever had in the 16 years Ive been getting them done. Ive been to many salons and have never had such bad service. When they asked if my nails were ok I pointed out that they were not even a shape, they were all different some square some round. The lady got mad and was rude the rest of the time. Save your money and go ANYWHERE else to get them done.

Everytime I go here I ask myself why did I come back after I tell myself not to! I came here Sunday only because I really needed a pedi and yet again was treated awful, the tech had a attitude and I just felt very out of place and no one wanted to help me! If you are of color or handicapped do not go here. The nail techs don’t even Converse with you, they act as if they are better then you and are only there to take your money ! I also saw one of the tech just spray the pedi bowl and dry it with the dirty pedi Towel that was used with the previous customer, no cleaning solution was used !

Ok, so this is definitely a bare bones type of place. She asked me if I need to rush and I was pleased that she even considered the duration of the manicure I asked to do. Place was very clean and neat and didnt use any harsh products. I will definitely come here again in the future.

No offer of anything to drink and when I read the offers it says the kids are supposed to get this with there $30 pedicure and manicure. Not the worst but not friendly only talk to each other in there own language. Hope they can improve this because they seem to have a lot of customers.

I quickly looked on Google and found Diva Nails and Spa Waterloo. They did a great job! The staff were super professional. I got the foil gel nails and it looks freaking beautiful! Cant wait to be back next month.

I was nervous first walking into this place because of the majority of negative reviews. And because I needed my nails done due to the fact that I have a wedding coming up. I went around 9:30am and all of the ladies were wonderful they have great customer service and I am completely in love with my nails. I got shellac but got tips on three fingers because the nails had broken off. They were very good and they understood what I wanted and they were able to get it done. They were so good that the woman doing my nails even asked me if I wanted something to drink before we got started. The atmosphere is a very happy one and this is where Ill be going from now on. Like I said Im obsessed with my nails. 😍😍💅🏾

Very RUDE and horrible customer service. I couldnt understand the girl doing my nails (like most nail spas but this was worse. I dont think she spoke any English) and with the lack of communication, I didnt get what I asked for or wanted even after showing her a picture of what I wanted. She was very rough too. When I said ow that hurts she just gave me the stink eye. Ended up with a snowflake looking manicure and a mismatching pedicure for summer. The manager came over and was SO mean and SUPER rude that he almost made me cry. Ended up paying full price when they looked terrible. My nails looked so bad and had many comments on how bad they looked so I ended up having to go redo them elsewhere. Dont waste your time or money here. Pay a few extra dollars and go somewhere better!

Took 4 little girls today and the water was cold. When asked to warm up the water for them we were blatantly ignored on of our parties sat and waited for water to be filled into their basins for 45+ minutes while other groups had their water filled. After which refused service. Had I not had little girls that would have been devastated to leave Id have gotten up and left. Terrible customer service and wont be returning.

I went in last week to get my nails done with my little sister I got gel nails done. I told the lady doing my nails to cut my nails shorter she keep saying no I let it go she then started talking in her language with the other ladies and they were laughing I dont to say they were talking about me but I just thought it was rude. She didnt make conversation with me and she laughed at my nails when she was all done I went to pay and notice a few air bubbles on some of my nails so I told her and she was Ill fix it she grab my hand and started pressing on my nail when back to her station and she filed it paint over and told me you are good to go and made my nails look awful. I still paid the $32+ dollars I sure will not be going back you lost a good customer.

I got good service a couple times, but then some of the people were extremely rude there after. My nails were not shaped all the same and they were in a rush to get things done. If you are focused more on quantity and not quality, go for it. The tech used a file on my nails that she was using on her nails right before also. I was in shock.

Did my nails done there every month and I love the way they doing my nails last from one month to the next maybe two days just before its time for me to get them done I might lose one from having my hands in and out of water so much but overall its a good place I recommend them number 1

Wow! Dont be fooled by the pretty lights and decor! Its like putting lipstick on a pig if my experience today is of the norm. They were very rude because I wanted my acrylics taken off. I was asked 3 more times if I wanted new tips or shellac after I plainly stated that I live out of town and its just too much maintenance. The guy(I would say technician but that would mean he had gone to school and was licensed)that was taking them off burnt me three times with the file and gave me dirty looks for saying hot, hot, ow! As I pulled my hand back. Then he brought out a bowl of acetone in a bowl of what I can only assume was boiling water because it actually hurt. FYI Im a former barista and not a stranger to hot liquids. Then he told me Id have to sit there for 20 minutes and walked away. Seriously its not time for your break when you have a customer. Horrible experience. Never going back.

The lady who did my pedicure did a great job and was very attentive to detail. However, the ambience of the nail salon was lacking. The leather chairs were cracking and the massage remote was ripped apart. It did not feel luxurious at all. My biggest issue is that there was NO INDICATION, online nor in the salon, that this was a cash-only establishment... until it was time for me to pay. Therefore, I had to use the ATM (incurring fees).

Had a great time did a cute 4th July on my toes and nails.

What do I think of the place- One word- Fantastic! I took a shot in the dark, and wanted to do something special for my girl, why, because I am a guy and put things off until the last minute- 2 days before valentines I called them, not knowing anything about this company. I spoke with a guy at the front desk, Randy, he help me out picking a package that would take care of her. I was working in a time frame. They stayed open late for her. A nasty snow storm come in that day, and I called and asked if they would like to move the day. They declined on their part, but did ask me if I wanted to move the date (I lived 4 miles away). There was a bit of confusion with order- but what really makes me enjoyed this is they made it right (no I didnt get a service for free, or a compensation). They stayed open beyond what they should have and more time into my girl making her feel special. If you are a guy and need something special done for her, or him. Give them a call!

Tara has done my nails for the past year and she has always done a great job. The people here are friendly and take time to get to know you and remember you when you come in.

This salon has some of the poorest customer service Ive received in a long time. While getting pedicures the basins were filled with cold water, I asked multiple times to replace it with warm water but I was completely ignored by multiple technicians. They filled basins for everyone in our group except for one, completely ignored this person the entire time. She finally was fed up and refused service and just waited for the rest of us to be finished. This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon and I will never give my business to them again.

Horrible service. The worst pedicure Ive ever had. They charged me 57 dollars for my daughter to get a kids pedicure and a regular pedicure for myself. The lady doing mine cut my foot and it was bleeding!!!Im not sure she could see. Then her co worker (much younger) was flinging my daughters hands and feet around telling her to sit still....but under her breath as she acted annoyed with her job.....sad environment and I dnt see the remodel changing that:( unfortunately

I went there for a basic manicure and polish. Customer service was not great. Yes they were busy, however waiting two hours for a fifteen minute service is inexcusable, good thing there was an abundance of shops nearby. I was told at first that it was half an hour wait, which kept getting longer and longer. The man upfront was rude when I asked how much longer. Spent fifteen minutes with the nail technician and fifteen minutes for nail polish to dry. The quality of service was so-so. Polish application is not even. Never going back to this place.

I have been going to Diva Nails and Spa for years. They were very picky to me. The salon was so clean!! And the price is average.

My first time there was amazing! My daughter and I had a long day and rushed in an hour before closing for pedis, a mani and a full set of acrylics. They didnt have enough of the colored tips I wanted so they found polishes to match what I had picked out.They NEVER once made us feel rushed and when I offered to skip the polish (I have an indie brand I love to use at home) or pay early so they could start closing, they insisted that we were not a bother. The owner/manager even helped so we got done sooner and told me were more then welcome to come in at closing time and still get service. We were there pas closing and they still insisted I wait until my nails were completely dry!! Wonderful customer service and we love our nails!

I was quite impressed with Diva Nails. Honestly, it doesnt look like much from the outside, there were not a TON of nail colors to choose from (although there were plenty and my mom and i both found one that we loved) but the service more than made up for any first impressions that were lacking. The men that did our pedis offered us wine and got straight to work, firmly but gently taking care of rough and overgrown skin....my heels have never been this happy. although it shows on the Diva Nails web site that they would spend 25 minutes on your feet, they probably spent more like 35 minutes. I would definitely reccomend Diva Nails to friends and family.
