I was not at all pleased with the service and the owner was VERY unprofessional. I only needed a dumpster for 1 day. I was told Id have it for 3. After finding out that I would be charged extra for certain items I requested the dumpster be picked up a day or more sooner. It was not picked up until after 5:00 pm 2 days after the initial rental or possibly the next day. It was not full, but I was charged for a full dumpster. Things were thrown in by other people that I did not authorize because it was not picked up in a timely manner. I put down a $150 deposit and they tried charging me $425. The owner threatened to call the police on me through text message and said hed add extra charges if I didnt respond to him when he wanted me to. I will not be using this service again.

I text Junk King after hours last night with pictures for an estimate. They responded promptly this morning. Were able to give a rough estimate (that ended up being accurate) and were able to come this afternoon and clear out my junk. The guys who came were very professional, efficient and friendly. I would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family.

They were friendly accommodating and efficient. Trying to get the furniture out of an assisted living place is no easy task but these guys were flawless. They were available on very short notice (scheduled the appointment two days prior which was extremely helpful in the immediacy of the situation). highly recommended.

I booked Junk King in the hopes that they would be on time and thorough… instead the workers arrived 2 hours beyond the open time slot of 9am-11am. Arrived at 1pm. I also tried to reach the company multiple times requesting to speak to a manager and asking where were they!?and I kept getting sent to a customer service Unfortunately, I will never use them again or refer them to any neighbors or friends in Iowa:(

It sounds like they do a good job of picking up junk for them to sell, however when it comes to shopping there’s much left to be desired. They jack up the prices more than if you’d pay for a new item at the store. Shopper beware. Do your research. Organization is okay, could be easier to move around and see all items.

The guys who picked up my mattress and box spring were kind and quick when they got here but they arrived later than expected and it seemed like the lead person was new because he was unfamiliar with the payment technology. Still, I got my junk removed for a fair price so I cant complain.

This is the second time we have used junk kings. We love them. We are selling our home and really needed someone to come in and grab stuff we could not donate. They were very efficient, I thought price was perfect. We felt very comfortable with them coming into our home and helping us out. Would recommend to anyone.

The workers were outstanding once they got to our house. They worked tirelessly at getting more than one truck full of brush out of the way. Little disappointed in the people that set the schedule though because the first time they showed up it was in the afternoon and the truck was too. Was about 8 days ago ago. Then today they were so full on their bookings that they tried to reschedule again our grass was almost dead because its been 2 weeks since the storm.

First, the staff at the call center were great. I had to reschedule twice and they took it in stride. The movers arrived on time. They were professional and courteous. They even got my bulky chest freezer out of the basement. That was a big job itself. The cost was about what I expected. Would definitely do business with them again.

Made sure no mess from freezer left behind. Super reasonable pricing too. This was a 1950’s deep freeze too, so wasn’t wall in park!!
