My brother John Mccarthy told me about this place. He has his own business and does his laundry here. I went and I have to say the woman there was so incredibly helpful and friendly. I had never been there so I was clueless. She helped me step by step with loading my card to explaining how the washers and dryers work. Its a huge laundry mat and very clean. Ill definitely be back and already referred my daughter.

11/8/20 @6a I call to ask about their sanitation procedure. Before I finish asking the question, the lady replied we do not give the price over the phone.Then she sounded irritated that I was still on the phone when I finished asking my question. So not getting my money. 1 star.11/8/20 @ 8:50a I received a call from the employee I previously spoke to and she explained that was not her intention . She was then took the time to answer any remaining questions I had. Apologize accepted. I really wasnt expecting the call. I have changed my previous rating to 5 star (It wasnt asked directly or indirectly to do so, this is solely my decision). Thank you for your quick response and creating an open dialogue. Top Kat on Lakewood Rd is now back on my take my money list. 5 stars.

Large matt..lots of dryers. Washers work well. Clean. Helpful and polite attendant. 3 stars because of limited parking.

I love doing my laundry at Top of Kat Super Laundromat located in Waterbury, CT. Its a nice, clean environment. The employees are very helpful and the dryers are top notch. I have a laundry room in my home, but I still like going to Top Kat.

Plenty of elbow room. Spacious with washers and dryers. Free dry with each load washed. Up to 40 minutes. Snack machine, beverage machine. Staff always there. They use card.

Very nice place big variety of sizes for dryers and washers. You have to get a reloadable card there for $2 to use them. Drying is free when you wash there.

Needed to use large dryers all full clothes dry people not there I was there 45mins people still not there to get there clothes asked lady not Chris she had left already if she could take clothes out she said no ok people act like these their personal dryers this is a public launder mat need to enforce rules u need to be here when your clothes are dry or attendant can remove

Super cool spot. Quick wash. Free drying with purchase of washing. Prepaid (refillable) Card costs $2 (NO QUARTERS) but if you put $20 on the card you get a discount. There was enough to keep you entertained while youre waiting. Very helpful staff. Prices range from about $4 to $15 per load (but remember the freeeee drying).

Typically Ive had good experiences here. I havent been here in awhile since getting my own house and using my own washer and dryers but today I had to wash my comforters so I came in. I tried using my TopKat card and it kept saying please remove and try again. After this happened several times I went to get the manager and she was getting the same message granted the machine worked because others were able to use it. The manager stated although seeing nothing wrong with the card physically there was nothing she could do and Id have to buy a new card. Paying $2 isnt the issue. Its the principal. If I hadnt already loaded the washer I wouldve absolutely left. I wont be coming back based on her stating there is nothing wrong with my card so then why not issue me a complimentary card? Im all set. Ill be checking out Mckleans laundromat instead.

I have been using TopKat for about 14 years now. Normally the employees are nice and helpful but this one tonight has an extreme attitude problem. She spoke with me with like I am an ignorant human being. Very disrespectful.

Clean facility and good staff but when the church is in session parking is horrible and now a homess guy is in there hanging out, not a customer. He smells like cigars and talks to himself and is a disturbance to the customers. Dryers arent that great.

Highly upset!! Went here and see that workers are not wearing mask and are letting peoplencome in without a mask. I thought this was mandatory!!! Not cleaning the cars like said and the sign about wearing a mask is faded and small!!!

It is hit or miss on how helpful the attendant might be to you. I had a great woman help me the second time I was there but that was awhile ago. She left to run the TopKat in Lakewood rd.

It is the best around locally...staff extremely helpful and nice...the wash dry fold service is the BEST...they do an awesome job..love going there!!Dolly..kris..and mariah..super friendly and again very helpful!!!!
